The moment you are born again the blood covers you.
The blood of Christ is the only atonement.
It is the blood that satisfied God's demand for payment of the penalty of sin.
Christ wiped out that sin debt with His blood.
Hebrews 9:22
Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.
I would say the moment the blood covers you Are born again
one can not have new life apart from first being redeemed, having their sins atoned, having been justified because the gift of propitiation was recieved in faith

Christ is the end of the law, to bring righteousness to everyone who believes.

Romans 10:9:)
Amen, belief is the key,

whoever does not believe is left in their state of separation from God (spiritual death)

Perfect. ok this shows your not understanding the atonement. Where you saved 2000 years ago ? And does the atonement glorify anyone?

Again I agree . This happened 2000 years ago correct ? Now read where you and I fit into that, in eph 2.11-12 .
Notice our condition until we believed. Even though Jesus had paid our sin debt including the whole worlds sin debt . This shows your misunderstanding the atonement.
And Hebrews 9 .22 is talking about the blood of animals just to be clear.
Don't be telling me that I misunderstand anything. If you disagree state your case but don't insult my intelligence by saying I "misunderstand".

To be clear that verse is stating that there is no atonment without the blood. You can't make up your own interpretation. You can't pick verses out of the context like plucking feathers from a chicken.
If you read the entire text of chapter 9 it is explaining the purpose of the blood in both the old and new covenants.

Yes there is no atonement without blood . All the sins under the old covenant were redeemed . Everything is redeemed. The Atonement however does not glorify. Roms 3 says all have sinned AND fall short of the GLORY of God . The sin part is finished . Glorification is not available unless a person receives . Rom 5.11 . When a person receives Jesus . John 1.12 they recieve remission and redemption.

That's why we tell sinners ' behold the lamb of God HAS taken away the sin of the world "

According to you:
The priests went into the holy of holies and offered the blood sacrifice for everyone in Israel.
Everyone is forgiven so Jesus died needlessly
The one sin is blasphemy
The only people being judged at the White Throne will be those non-believers. They will be confronted with their sin so they know the judgement on them is deserved.

John 3:18 those who believe are NOT under judgement
those who do not believe have been judged already (to be revealed at the White Throne)
No one in the OT had the sins redeemed . Remissed yes but not redeemed .Not until here :25Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past through the forbearance of God;
Rom 3

the same forgiveness is offered to all, but not all will recieve it <-----Your words, words you will never find in the bible.

I don't know what your beef is. You either know that the propitiation was the blood of Christ or you think His death was. I'm not sure by your statement. Your definition of propitiation was too narrow.
The biblical explanation is far from narrow . It covers everything in the entire cosmos . We have some strange teachings within christianity that teach ' limited atonement ' as if Jesus only died for some . This is anti biblical to say the least . We have two different Jesus,s One who died for the world and one that did not . This is not the same Jesus .

An understanding of those verses that trouble might become clearer if you read the entire chapter.
As for disputing about who Christ died for; you have to ask yourself if the blood of Christ is sufficient for the atonement, justification, expiation, redemption and salvtion. I say it is.
So if the blood covers all that, how can you think that the WORLD means every person in the world? WORLD has several definitions in the bible so the context determines the definition (plus it must fit with all other scripture)

If you say that 'world' in that verse means everyone in the whole world then you are saying every person in the whole world is saved.
..........and...............Being born again is the first step in our salvation.

You are confused. The Atonement has to be received. Why are you missing this point ?

I'm thinking you don't know what the atonement is.
The atonement comes with being born again.
That is my position and I am not going to change it.

We don't have to know the definitions of all the salvation words to be saved.........but we do have to born again.
Then we learn what we have been given.

Yes we recieve the atonement after we believe not before. Rom 5.11
11And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

The perfect sacrifice atoned for all . All need to recieve . Sin is no longer the issue . Glorification is the issue for unbelievers.
