Absolutely. They think they are the sheep. The inner ones . The ones in the ' know ' . The elect ones the hear the voice !! voice ! voice of the call !! call !! call of their shepherd.
No the sheep are Jews .
So Jesus isn’t keeping you?

So Jesus didn’t know the Gentiles would be saved?

So Jesus had two different folds during His earthly ministry?
But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost SHEEP of the house of ISRAEL .
Let's stick to the Scriptures and not ' in the mind of God ' concepts and musings .

Read where Jesus says he only came to the lost sheep of the house of ISRAEL . And commanded the disciples to ONLY go to ISRAEL .
Did Jesus know that the Gentiles would eventually be brought in? ( There’s that tricky foreknowledge again).

Eph 4 30 is key to 4 22
Col 3.3 is key to 5-14
Correct. After we are saved we are to live more and more accordingly to what God has worked for us and in us and is working to us ward also. Ephesians 1:19-20

I find it odd that people go right to "major" sins in an effort to dispute salvation without works (before or after conversion).

If you have even a single lie, a single lustful thought, a single act of thievery (like stealing time from your boss by goofing off) attributed to you, you are eternally damned. The so-called "minor" sins generate the same fate as major sins.

Those who insist one must keep confessing and asking forgiveness for their sins or they will be counted guilty before God, would have to admit that if one dies with unconfessed sin, they would go straight to hell. God is not going to "wink at" or allow a person with even a SINGLE sin on their account into heaven.

Stop begging for forgiveness for what has already been forgiven - once for all time.
So Jesus has it wrong about asking forgiveness ?

“And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.

And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭11:1-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Or John he had it wrong too ?

“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭1:8-10‬ ‭

Seems like it’s a good idea to repent and actually be sorry when transgress which is why one would ask forgiveness but That’s more according to what the Bible has to say about confessing sin and not so much an interpretation.

We should try to come to the understandings in scripture like confessing our sins and asking forgiveness in prayer . As the lord taught also we should forgive others like he taught

“And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭11:25-26‬ ‭

that’s the Son of God teaching about God the Father . Believing the Lord is always a good idea

So Jesus knew so little about the Tanach that He didn’t even know that Isaiah prophecies the salvation of the Gentiles?

I think you need a more comprehensive understanding of the teaching of the Bible as a whole.

Only disciples need to do that stuff. Regular believers don’t have to pay any attention to them. (Sarcasm)

Lordship salvation definitely complicates the Gospel. If that's what you hold to ?
I hold that Jesus’ intent is that believers become disciples. Matthew 28:18-20. Do you believe that as well?

The power of Sin and from from the curse of the Law, from the second death, and from the wrath of God. I just accidentally made parallelism.

Go and make DISCIPLES of ALL NATIONS.

Which was a part of the plan from before the foundation of the world.

The powet of Sin and death.
we’re saved from sin and death already ? Is everyone ? Or do some folks need to work out thier salvation with fear and trembling ?

“And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2:11-13‬ ‭

see how that verse says God is working in us to change our will and actions to his will ? Well that doesn’t mean we have no role the very next verse says do all things without complaining ....

Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2:14-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

there really is no guarantee even if we receive the Holy Spirit , we can still refuse salvation and be damned We have to believe the gospel and follow after him

“For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭6:4-8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

receiving the Holy Spirit doesn’t guarantee salvation as you see there , unfruitful branches that soak up the rain and sun but bear no fruit are burned . Receiving the Holy Spirit through cknfession isn’t the end it’s the beginning of salvation
