Because the temple wasn't on the temple mount, where the roman legion was like the historical records shows it to be. Of course the western wall is the remains of fort Antonia. Because the the Romans destroyed the temple, and did what they do occupied the most valuable place. In this case the temple mount, where the temple was but was destroyed and a fort was built there. And so what of the building is too small for that many soldiers, they would have camped on the rest of the mount, while the generals and rulers occupied the building. Then there would have been a long wall around the encampment ie the western wall.

Millennial sacrifices are not a abomination to God. They are Ordained and required. One does not simply spiritualize away chapter 43-44-45-46 of Ezekiel.
