True or false

The oldest man in the bible, his dad lived longer than he did

If true, who am I???
That was a fun one, @AlmondJoy! :D(y)

I knew the oldest man in the Bible was Methuselah - he lived to be 969 years old. The only one that out lived him was Enoch because Enoch never died but, was taken and is probably still alive today.....so, that would mean Enoch is Methuselah dad and is currently living longer than his son.....lol! :giggle::love:(y)

Okay, let's see if I can ask a "Who am I?" riddle........

I can see what a man cannot see,

I can speak when I should not be able to,

I am wiser than my master........ Who am I?

Oh, at first I thought you were mixing in vague opinion and being obvious without being obvious, but then I got it (probably).

A donkey.

I haven't played this game for so long that I forgot how. Can I just ask a question like; 'to whom did the axe head swim?'

I think mostly it's anything goes. I was going to ask a simple question because I rarely can think of anything beyond simple trivia.

Like, was it a whale or a fish?

Or better yet, what type of tree was Lebanon known for in scripture?

See I don't know how to play either because I vaguely asked two questions ;)

The axe head swam to a stick of wood.....but Elisha threw the stick of wood into the water.......

2 Kings 6:4-7 King James Version (KJV)
4 So he went with them. And when they came to Jordan, they cut down wood.

5 But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed.

6 And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim.

7 Therefore said he, Take it up to thee. And he put out his hand, and took it.

Well technically a whale is a whale. Somehow it gets taught that Jonah is swallowed by a whale and whales are pictorially presented. Though in the time period, maybe that's how whales were described (as fish)...so it's a discussion but quite a minor one.

but yes Cedar is what I always recall reading when Lebanon is mentioned.

No a whale is a mammal. Fish have gills for breathing under water Whales must surface and exhale through its blow hole. Thus the term; 'There she blows' :D

Well Joseph and Daniel were both trown into dungeons of sorts. And both could interpret dreams. So those would be my first two guesses.

Who baptized the Ethiopian Enuch, where did he go and how?
Pretty sure philip and the Lord "moved" him to...umm (references) Azotus.

That would be an excellent trivia question without references available.

I myself forgot the name and place but I remember the story and never hear about it any more.
