To make a long story short I was emailing and texting this NEW pastor with dozens and dozens Bible studies, verses, studies in eschatology, and so on and so forth. I went out of my way to clearly delineate my biblical position (Premillennial pre-TRIB rapture, no replacement theology, a literal tribulation and judgments to come etc. etc.).
He on the other hand failed to respond in an honest vigorous forthright manner. Yes he would reply with the odd text yes he would reply with emails now and again.....but only cryptically and without any kind of commitment one way or another. I knew something was up. But he NEVER came out of the closet and expressed his theological position. This little game continued in Church during sermons and services for many months. IMO he was playing me and my wife along in order to continue to extract money (I tend to give generously) and to grow this little cult he was building.
And then a number of weeks ago he began teaching Mark 13. What a disaster.......the heresies and apostasy that was coming out of his mouth was just incredible. It was practically a denial of Christs deity and the certainty prophecy. This pastor had absolutely no idea....at all.....of why Jesus stated that He did not know the day of the hour of His coming. Fortunately for me I understand Mark 13 impeccably well, (in synchronicity with Matthew 24 in Luke 21 of course). So there is no way he was going to deceive me.....though his intention was to deceive the rest of the congregation!
And then couple of weeks later he I overheard him tell someone ELSE that he was amillennialist (In response to a question by a young new attendee). This after failing to tell me after all of my multitude of inquiries! After hearing this I immediately interceded into the groups' conversation and stated unequivocally that such things are not Biblical. I was very fortunate in that I did successfully exegete the truth of the pretrib rapture position, and the truth of end time eschatology spoken of in Mark 13. I explained to them that they will never understand end time eschatology until they understand the Jewish wedding ritual PATTERN!
One more thing: Six months ago or so this pastor emailed me a PDF of this "paper" that he wrote on Genesis 6 vs Jude etc. The net of it was that he was a "higher scholar", who opined due to his "higher criticism" the fallen angels theory was nothing more than a fraud and myth conjured up in the postexilic writings of a bunch of addled rabbis!!! Really I should've walked away then.
Think of the ramifications and implications of THAT heresy! That the Bible does NOT have integrity, that the books CANNOT be trusted, and we are to reinvent Christianity to suit our own image. Which is EXACTLY what I see coming from so many heretics on Christian chat.
And what I say to you I say to all: This present day Laodicean church is FILLED with these sorts of fake pastors. Every imaginable abomination and heresy is acceptable. The truth however is never acceptable.

These statistics are no worse than any typical flu season. The case fatality rate is infinitesimal for children, and very low for working age adults and the healthy.
Only those with serious comorbidity or the elderly are in danger.
