And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,

(and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

5Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth;

6And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.
For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them
(Hebrews 4:2)

So you are disagreeing that God has various good news for different people at different period of time, even if those are contained in scriptures?

there is one and only one good news, His name is Yeshua, translated 'Yah is Salvation' - He is from the beginning, before all things, and does not change. He was, He is, He is yet to come.

you know more about yourself today than you did yesterday. you did not become a different person by diminishing your ignorance.

Alright then, I don’t see how reading the Bible literally diminish God in anyway.

If he told Abraham he is going to have numerous descendants, that is good news to him, that is the gospel. No need to force the scripture to also say that he also knew 1 cor 15:1-4, which is the current good news for all of us gentiles now.

Why did God consider Abraham faith, scripture says in genesis 15:6 that he believed that he will get numerous descendants, and to God, that suffices as faith.

yes so you are wrong to say it's a different gospel if Abraham didn't yet see the details of 1 cor. 15

Abraham was a Gentile too. not a Jew.

As I said repeatedly, gospel means good news.

The contents of that good news vary depending on the person and the time it was spoken, but every time it is spoken, it is good news to whoever it was given to.

every time you see it in scripture, it is speaking of Christ. that's the primary purpose of it being recorded there
so it doesn't make it '
different gospel' -- all of this, from Woman being renamed Eve to Zechariah's mouth being opened, is testimony of Christ & His work: it is the gospel, over and over and over: the LORD shall redeem His people; the just live by faith.

'multiple gospels/good-newsies' is silly IMO. you wouldn't call an apple tree a different plant when it's not the season for fruit? but the Lamb was slain before the foundation of the earth. an apple seed is an apple tree waiting to be revealed as an apple tree. this is what Abraham's faith was: He believed God who told him He is his Shield & Great Reward. that is the gospel too: Christ our Shield; Christ our Great Reward. Christ is the LORD God Almighty made manifest, the visible presence of the invisible God. this is the promise made to Abraham, and all who are of faith are his children, just as God told him.

To me, different content means different gospels.

Scripture also distinguished different gospels in the kjv version of Galatians 2:9. Gentiles were warned not to go back to the gospel of the circumcision. That gospel may be right of Israel, but it’s not the gospel for them.

This is still being confused now, when many churches long for the signs and wonders of the gospel of the circumcision, which to me is unfortunate and reflect this “there is only one gospel” misunderstanding

scripture does no such thing. Galatians 2 says they were in agreement, and the word 'gospel' is not in v. 9 - they simply agreed that one would preach the gospel to one people, and the other would preach the gospel to another people.

why is so important to this theology you preach that God's word be divided against itself? what makes that such a key issue? what pivots on that?

Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing Jesus' day and was glad.

Job, acknowledged as the oldest book in the bible:

I know that my Redeemer lives, and in the end He will stand upon the earth.
Even after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God.…

Should I ask? What is the signs and wonders of the gospel of the circumcision many churches long for? Never heard of this.

I gave an example the importance of making that distinction:

Which is You will understand better the role of signs and wonders for Israel and how it may not have a role in the body of Christ

Genesis 15:6, that verse that Paul used in Galatians 3, was before Issac was even born.

Abraham was justified by faith before he saw the lamb trapped.
