No, that's incorrect. The Jews are the chosen people, not the church. Romans 9-11 explains this.
Paul was heartbroken over the Jewish people, because he came to understand God chose people who would live by faith in him. God did not choose a race of people. This is clearly taught in Rom.9-11 and the rest of scripture.
kaylagrl,
Christians who teach that God chose on the basis of race are doing great harm to the Jewish people.

Yes, the blinders will be taken off and they will recognize their Messiah. But God has a plan for the Jewish people that has nothing to do with the church. Brother EG has pointed that out. Can a nation be born in a day? It was and it was Israel. His promise and calling are everlasting.
The Remnant will recognize Jesus Christ and his finished work on Calvary, just as all believers do, they will be added to the Church, with the same direction given to all Christians in the New Testament.

Your claim of different plans for Jews and Gentiles in the church is (Dual Covenant Theology) a false teaching promoted by John N Darby in dispensationalism

There has always only ever been one plan of salvation, and there has only ever been one people of God and those are the ones who by faith believed. Melchizedek, Ruth, Rajan, Joshua son of none, not Jews by decent. Those who rebelled with Corah, that were swallowed up, the generation sent back into the wilderness, all genetic Jews by decent. There are others as well.

The "remnant" was only applicable to the 1st century, Paul said that would be a short work.

Rom 9:27 Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:

Rom 9:28 For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.

Rom 11:5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

There are not two "remnants" one in Paul's and one in some supposed future.

Rom 13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

Paul stated the days is at hand - not 2000 years later and still yet to be.

Gods words are screaming in your face, that ethnic Jews of the flesh aren't the children of God, and you suggest they are, is God lying below?

They which are children of the flesh, (Ethnic Jews) these are not the children of God

Roman's 9:6-8KJV
6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.
Gods word is not screaming anything to
Me except for the fact that is Paul said in romans 11 there will be a time when all of Israel repents and at that time they will be saved. It does not say it just here it says it in the OT

Again you need to be in romans 11 to discuss romans 11. Otherwise. You are taking it out of context. Romans 9 has absolutely nothing to do with romans 11. .

2/3 of Jews will be cut off and die (Blinded), only the 1/3 remnant elect will be saved, you disregard Gods words below, why?

Zechariah 13:8-9KJV
8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.
9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God.
Your disregarding romans 11

At the time of righting. Isreal is blinded in part

In the future, all isreal will be saved

Zechariah 13 does not contradict Romans 11. The must be interpreted so they are complimentary. The Bible can not contradict itself

I guess its time to read the bible again and see that anti-judaism is not anti-semitism.

Anti-Roman Catholic isn't considered racism?

Why not?

I think people have their wires crossed.
I think it’s time to read the words people have said about jews about how they killed Jesus and because they killled Jesus and rejected him God is done with them period

Read lev 26 The promises of god concerning lev 26 and isreal repenting is not for the church

We are speaking if the abrahamic it Palestinian covenants not the new covenant. The new covenant has nothing to do with what we are discussing the new covenant is for eternal life to all who believe whether Jews or gentile

Yes

But the jews were given a separate covenant. which The church has no part of. And has nothing to do with eternity

Brother....the church does not replace Israel.
So, all of the Scriptures that say so are lies? That's good to know.

The First Covenant: Gods chosen people were a Nation. The Nation of Israel

The New Covenant: Gods chosen people are a Church. His Church. All who confess the name of Jesus.

Romans 9:
24Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?
25As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.

27Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:

The ONLY people who will be in eternity with God/Jesus are Christians. All who confess the name of Jesus, are born again are the ONLY ones who will inherit eternal life. All Jews who die in their sin of denying Jesus WILL NOT inherit eternal life. Jesus Himself said so.

John 3:
3Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

And the 11th Chapter of Romans that people use to justify their belief that all Jews will be "grafted back in" is not truth, for in that same Chapter Paul says this quite clearly.

23And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.

Jews MUST repent, turn from their belief in the Law of the 1st Covenant for salvation, confess the name of Jesus and be born again: or they will die in their sin and never receive eternal life!

Revelation 21:

1And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

This new Jerusalem (Israel) IS THE CHURCH! All of those who confessed the name of Jesus, were born again and lived their lives serving and in obedience to Him. NOT THE JEWISH NATION.

Hebrews 8:

7For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
8For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
9Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
10For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
11And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

God REPLACED the 1st Covenant with the New Covenant BECAUSE the Jews broke their Covenant with God. The verses in Hebrews directly tie in with those in Romans (spoken by Paul) showing that the Church; not the Jews, are now Gods chosen.

This new Jerusalem, Gods chosen are both of the Jews and of the Gentiles. But they MUST be believers in and disciples of Jesus, and profess Him as Lord and Savior of their lives. They MUST confess His name.

The current Nation of Israel, the Jews who deny Jesus are not His chosen people as it states in Scripture. This is not ANTISEMATISM, it is Biblical Truth. Rather than hate the Jews who deny Jesus, we should love them and witness to them; and this is why so very many Churches have Missionaries in Israel preaching the Gospel trying to reconcile unbelieving Jews to Jesus.

The Gospel preached by Jesus teaches all of this, for He clearly preached that HE IS THE ONLY WAY! The Apostle Paul taught all of this.

Why people insist on denying this is beyond me. But I would STILL not call them liars!

That was an uncalled for accusation. I have read your comments, conversed with you since I joined some 6 years ago, but in this last few weeks, I have read comments from you I do not recognize as you. It is as if someone is posting in your SN.

IF you do not agree with me. So be it. Do not call me a liar for what I believe. I have a plethora of Scripture to support my belief. I do not call you a liar. I disagree with you, but I do not disrespect you by calling you a liar.

Nothing complimentary about it, 2/3 of the Jews will be cut off and die, it's you Pre-Determined bias that disregards this fact

I feel like I talk to a wall sometimes, so forgive me if I seem irritated, maybe I have done this too long?

2/3 have been cut of,, that’s what it means to be blinded in part, t is ongoing today and has been going on.

but Paul said there will come a time when all Isreal, will be saved, that will be the fulfilment of all the OT prophecies concerning the nation, when the people repent and calls Jesus lord.

john tells us in revelation the woman will be saved, not that 2/3 will be cut off, your stuck on one passage, bible prophecy must be taken as a whole, not nit picked to fit our own belief system

then why is the church not living in Palestine today? Why is it not living in peace as God promised, when they obeyed Gods commands, why is God not blessing them as he promised the people, the church replaced where they do NT have to fear their enemies, they live in peace, and God physically blesses them with all of their needs?

oh That’s right, the church never replaced Israel concerning those covenants, replacement theology is a lie

There is no replacement of God's chosen people. Believers have always been his chosen people,

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. Jn.1:12-13

For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. Gal.3:26
Finally the tautological argument, that I have mentioned in my first post, made an appearance.

No, God did choose a race, the Jewish people, they are the chosen. God has a plan, which is on hold until the Gentiles have come in. The church is not Israel. Romans 9-11 clearly teach this.
