I would have to say the current status of America...It's looking more and more like end times are at hand.

Rev 22:20- He who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming soon." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!

Rich Mullins' death, coming at a time in my life when I craved the songs he was writing, giving so much value and hope to my life.
----
And the salvation army is playing this hymn, and, the grace rings out so true I never want this feeling to end.
Hold me Jesus, I am shaking like a leaf...peace.

Our God is an awesome God.

'We have some very sad news and at the same time joyous. Popular pop culture Christian singer Rich Mullins is un Heaven now. He was in a car accident tonight.'

The words still come to me clear as day, I was jamming to a Christian music song, and, even remember saying to self, 'Rich Mullins is a special kind of being singing, Lord.' I said this a few days earlier and had thanked God for blessing me with Rich's poetic ministry to me thru music. And then, days later, listening in my car to my favorite Christian station, the words came, it was like the death of a loved one to me, that powerful a figure in my life at the time and so I appreciated music more then, really absorbing others music, especially Amy Grant's.

The earthquake that happened here in christchurch and our cathedral (centrepiece of our city) collapsed. Having to go through a major earthquake while home alone. Dealing with no clean water and electricity for over two weeks.

Then a month later watching Japan (a country and people I love very dearly) dealing with an earthquake themselves then a horrible tsunami and now nuclear disaster on their hands. I wanted to help so badly but myself and everyone else living in Chch havent exactly been in a position to help when we've needed help too. All we could do was sit back and cry and grieve over their loss and truly know and understand what theyre going through.

Which major events during your lifetime have impacted you most?
1) When Rick Dees was replaced by Ryan Seacrest (he's actually a radio dj here in Los Angeles, besides being the host of American Idol)

2) When the tv show King of Queens had its final episode. I love that show! (sniff)

3) When gas prices hit $4 a gallon for the first time. I knew we'd never see gas under $2 again. (sniff, again)

4) Realizing I got to grow up in the two coolest decades ever (70's and 80's). Disco's, Saturday Night Live original cast, the Jesus Movement, friendly people everywhere, and polite too. Families still spent lots of time together and could live off a single income, playing outside all the time with the neighborhood kids, etc.. .:D

When i was 16 my parents took me to go see riverdance and the original cast wasnt there, it was knock off river dancers!... pfft!

The first time i was rick rolled

Watching the lion king opening day in the movie theatre

Waking up on september 11th and turning on the news. I sat listning to the news caster announce that the first tower had been hit, in the middle of her talking i watched live as the second tower was hit. I will never forget that moment.

When i saw toby mac kiss my sister

Realizing the guy i had been dating for five years was a fart face.

Realizing every guy i have ever dated EVER was and is a fart face.

Looking at myself in the mirror everyday and seeing the same face.

The time i tricked my brother into eating a dog biscuit

When i was 7 and my nana told me to kick her, then i did, then she told on me, then i got grounded, then i stuck my tongue out at her and told her she was a MEEAAAN MEAAAAAAN OLD LADY!!

He was driving to Wichita Kansas to perform a concert at Central Christian Church ..... I had tickets to that concert. We were there... (arrived early , I attended church there and was helping with things)...when they made the announcement. Very sad day indeed.
