Thats the best part about a mask man i can cover up the ugly xD
Jay leno used to have a skit where they showed women mens eyes and asked what so you think of him. They would say oh seems like a jerk and it would b a make model. The next oh he seems nice and it would b sadam Hussein! Masks cover nearly all human emotion and its tough espeically for women who convey a lot with facial expressions.

a question
which movie is this cos I have a short memory of movies.
I have been an extra on a tv set and the lead characters wont interact with the background players. I know that. Also our costumes cant be striped or polka dots. Or red.

I feel like it is scary to experience like that...😅 I got scared when a man standing a lil near me smiled back when I glanced and smiled at him...he kept on looking where I was but I looked on the other side to avoid him I can feel that he was looking at me Intensely... it was so uncomfortable it scared me he even followed me good thing i was with my friends 😮

It happened not only once but it was nothing like a romantic sweet thing... it gave me a weird feeling...it was uncomfortable and wished I became invisible in every incident... 😁

So, you know in movies/TV, when the lead male character spots a pretty girl in a crowded place, and even though there's plenty of other lovely ladies around, something about this particular woman has him totally enamoured, like she's the most beautiful person he's ever seen, and he just HAS to talk to her?

Is that actually a thing? Have any of you ever experienced something like this before?
Perhaps this is a very silly question, but I'm really quite curious
Its probably happened years ago to me. Being an introvert and the pandemic, I can't think of any recent experiences.

Note to self..... Beauty, lightning in eyes, personality, and a woman's soul are general entrapments to marriage.

On a serious note, your post evinces feelings, and even a positive aspect of marriage. Which I find completely disturbing (joking).
We find your lack of faith (in marriage) disturbing.

JK but your really should have worked that star wars line into your post. As for some immediate connection with a stranger, closest I could come would be an out of proportion wish to talk to said person and get to know them better. And I'd still need some sort of hook or excuse to start that conversation (small talk stinks). I'd say read a book so I can ask you about it, but I won't ask because I know how horrible it is to be disturbed while reading.

that must be for sure a creepy feeling, I've been through same thing as a male perspective, so I know that feeling but can't help being a supreme child of God, if that makes any sense... if i may have said something wrong, apologies

I hope no one thinks I stared at a woman lol. I never stared. I was too busy working up the courage to say hello, which usually never happened  If she looked my way and our eyes met I would have died of embarassment :love::love:

yes, and we still love each other 30 years later, and even though she is outwardly beautiful it wasn't because of that, but something about the way she composed herself, the light in her eyes and the grace in her comport, i saw immediately as an inward beauty she possessed, that i have never ceased to admire.
That is the cutest thing I have ever heard.

well, at the risk of starting some sort of scandal, i wasn't talking about Mrs. post.

Mrs. post, i grew to love over time - and at least in my life, this turned out to be the sort of love that is marriage: a love that was built, layer on layer, and blossomed, and became established through shared struggle and turmoil and perseverance.

I replied because I know that there really is a genuine, lasting love that can come from 'at first sight' infatuation - for me it is, you might call Platonic. Sometimes I wonder if she and I would still care for each other like we do, would still be friends, if we had ever spent the kind of wholesale time together that a marriage involves - or of we'd come to find differences between ourselves that we couldn't resolve by mutual affection. I do think, if we hadn't kept our relationship pure, we would not still be close today. And I think, maybe I ought to thank God that He's kept us at distance, whether this has helped our friendship last as long as it has.

I do thank God for Mrs post daily - don't read this wrong. But to be honest the love I share with her isn't the kind of starry-eyed ooh, look at her, *must meet* love at first sight thing. I did not respect or cherish her in the early days of our relationship nearly as much as I do now, and that keeps increasing every year. It's turned out to be something more subtle, yet greater in the end. It's a love that wasn't immediately apparent to me but has persisted and strengthened over time.

So my advice is to talk to her, or him. Talk to them like they might be a friend for life - but don't assume they are your life partner just because of butterflies in your stomach, and don't assume that those butterflies are nothing more than hormones either. The relationships that last are the ones that go beyond the physical, so build those. It doesn't have to become an intimate relationship to be real love
