GOD happens to be his name, and usually he's reffered to by atheists as YOUR god. That's like saying you believe Zeus exists or Hera, or Athena, or the Flying Spaghetti Monster just because you know their names and have acknowledged that those are their names. Your argument makes absolutely no sense and it's completely irrational. Guess I'm a bit of everything then because I know of Buddha, Allah, and Gomer Pile too! Well gaaaaawwwwlly!
I am not sure if God(s) exist(s) to the same extent I'm unsure invisible fairies exist. I can't disprove them, but I can say wherever and whenever I test for them, the answer is the same as if they didn't exist. This justifies me saying I do not believe they exist.
When we say God, we usually refer to the Deists God, hypothesising an entity that conjured up the existance of the universe, but then left everything else alone. This is the most basic version. Our(I assume laylie, vikkie and forlon are of the same opinion here) claim is there is no good reason to believe in this one, NOT claiming there can not be .
When we say YOUR/Christian God, we can refute extra claims you add-on, such as concilling 'the bible is the word of God' with 'God is good', 'God responds to prayer', 'Jesus and Moses performed miracles', 'Human morality is proof of God' and so forth. Whilst christians can often dance round and be creative in their answers, upon questioning on what grounds those creative answers should be believed, ends up with circular logic or just have faith.
If all of you are informed about how NATURAL snow crystals are formed (every single snow crystal has its own original design which is geometrically perfect), can you explain how that happens? Why don't you try to recreate the same conditions at which snow is formed? All you would need to do is to go up high into the sky at about the same height at which clouds rest and make sure the place where you are at is at the temperature at which water freezes. Guess what though? You will NEVER be able to recreate that process. How can frozen water falling from the sky form into such beautiful and perfectly geometrical shapes? Only GOD knows because He created it to be that way.
On what basis do we go from 'X is this shape' to 'God did it' if you can't demonstrate the process linking god to its formation.
You'll notice if you've ever played with the toy Magnetix, that structures with magnetic forces will naturally come to form geometric structures. The analogy is that the molecule, i.e. H2O (H-O-H) with a bond angle of 104.45 degrees (moot point), and an affinity for and additional hydrogen bond with other Oxygen atoms within other water molecules (due to the stripped nature of hydrogen after a covelant bond) also acts as a 'magetic force' between water molecules, leading to geometric structures of which one formation within low pressure, slow cooling environments is the same as the snowflake.
Ah but then you say, where did the magnetic forces come from and the matter... this question just moves the goal posts of your first question. We know magnetic fields exist, we know gravity acts, but if you want to claim where it comes from, give evidence and don't say that absence of an explanation is proof of God.
You don't watch a lot of t.v do you. Try some artic exploration stuff the guy goes out of his tent throws a cup of water in the air guess what it falls as... :O snow !

So, if I am right all people who don't believe will go to hell (Big cost right?) And if your uncertainty says there is no God, then I have nothing to fear.
But I can give you 100% proof God exists right now. Ask me how!

What if the real God is only testing your reasoning ability to identify that he hasn't provided evidence for his existance, and so can't trust you in the actual test. Then there's every other religion and religions yet to be made up.

You sound like a very wise man, but a child would shame you in wisdom. YES! A child. A child could give you 100% proof God exists, and put your long sentences to shame: Here is my proof:
It doesn't take an astronaut to assume, that when i see a house, which we know is designed by the intricate detail, I say ''DESIGNED,'' that an intelligent being made it. Your scientists also presume as much when they see such carvings into stone.
A child would have more sense to KNOW someone built a house. But just because you didn't see him build it you, with all of your knowledge would only assume for the sake of argument. Yes a child will put you to shame.
And this is where you get Atheism, intelligent people who aren't so intelligent. You sound nice and scientific up there, but tell me all about everything, then I would assume you know anything about anything. Try again.

My friend. I want no Atheist bashing here. I don't consider them an enemy of God as much as I do Satan. I say to welcome them as if you were welcoming a friend in Jesus Christ. What good is it to love only those who love you? And not all Christians believe God, because all people who gender strife will end up in hell, yet they continue to do it. The intent here was not to gender strife. But to get a response as to what they really believe. That is all.
