A woman sleeping with different men..one caught. How did Christ treat them? Now He IS 100% against ALL sin. He didn't come to condemn. Unless they came to me or speaking publicly and i was there to answer.. I say nothing. Love them would talk to them. But to know someone is freely willingly walking in sin. I would never just hang around them. Light has nothing what so ever to do with darkness.

I have seen heard to many things where woman gay running abortion clinic and short it. Being given food and having them over to dinner never making fun of, or judging. Both got saved and stopped living together. LOL as my SIN is some how OK with God. Yet this sin to GOD really stands out. Man and Woman there is so much more to that then just having kids. So to brake that.. not wise.

Seen the love of one that "if you cry I will cry with you. If you need someone to laugh with I will laugh with you. If you get mad you can get mad at me. If you fall I will never judge you". That young man gay.. saved married has so many kids. JESUS is real. He already died for the sin of the world.

I think you have a good point there about the individual and revival as opposed to a collective.
We've seen enough news reports concerning denominational governing bodies turning apostate so as to fit in with the new way of the world. PC nonsense. When they turn from the truth in God's word in favor of the expediency it afford being politically correct and conceding to the agenda currently at work, they're a lousy example of what it means to stand in the word and against all slings and arrows that may come at them.

It took us quite awhile to find a veterinarian we felt we could trust, so I know what you mean about sticking it out.
I would say it is something beyond coincidental that she appears to have aligned against you in that you're a married straight woman, and she's a lesbian.
It sounds odd, but I've had enough experience with bias LGTBQTS persons to notice the one's I know have an issue with women, when they're a gay male. It's as if they're upset my husband is straight, so they treat me badly. The lesbians treat me badly and are cool and seemingly indifferent to hubby's presence.
I'd hope though that if your husband see's her treating you badly that he realizes disrespecting his wife is unacceptable. Whether she's a good vet or not. If she sucks at interacting with people, what's she like with animals when people aren't there to observe her with their pets?

right

actually my husband physically went to the vets...about 45 mins from us...to try to straighten out the last convo I had with her in which she hung up on me...then denied she did of course...

my husband can play it pretty cool but he knows what is going on and intends to have a discussion with the actual vet...who didn't hire her/it...in which he will hint at the ongoing drama in the office that we want no part of...actually he (vet)told me personally that I could speak to him whenever I wanted to and not to hesitate with any questions etc and this is how he is with people

a friend also had difficulty with admitting a pet and being told nothing was wrong when there was. I'm going to continue to pray about the whole thing cause it is ridiculous

see, his wife works there too and does the hiring etc....so it's a delicate thing...like I said I don't need the drama..which is being provided by this lesbian who obviously dislikes me for no reason...and I have been only polite cause I know what is behind it all....and this before I found out she was not straight...but the desire to somehow get rid of me is obvious

I would simply change vets as I prefer to just avoid the conflict with a person who makes other looks bad by lying about them

We are in the darkest time of the winter here, cold and at times miserable, but I laughed for two days after seeing this!

So, a recap on how a Croc got into this thread - a bit of comic relief -

Both a heterosexual and homosexual Crocodile would be sinners equally. I'm trying to find a connection to sanity here. But, I think the point being that sexuality is a complicated issue. People who think they are "normal" (men attracted to women and vice versa) might have hidden sexuality issues from what I've read, such as men who are addicted to images that go beyond art or beauty and are offensive to their wives (which can end marriages and intimacy online) can after awhile, develop identity issues according to psychologist's, who are so sophisticated that they can read people's issues just by watching they're body language, even if people are clueless to their own issues.

So, if a male develops a female identity by viewing female images, or there is a thing called "sexual spirits" and it can snowball into spiritual warfare and take a whole team of people to sort it out. Such a male, could be considered a gay, lesbian, homosexual, transgender, transvestite, without even knowing it. And walk into the bedroom wearing a dress and freak out his wife, saying, this is the new normal - take it or leave it -

Sadly, that can actually happen. Our enemies are not each other, it is the spiritual blindness that happens in the darkness, the Bible says.

"Walk in the light, as He Is in the Light.".

When we're in heavenly Light, things can return to normal pretty fast, and clear up.

"rejoice in being homophobic".....
I only got that far....... that might stir up some members here. I'm not sure I like that expression myself.
Maybe he meant 'heterosexual' ? Could just say we rejoice in being normal and natural (according to Romans 1).
Yes, both true. That was going too far to say rejoice in being afraid of people who are different, or on their way to following the Bible better than us Christians.

We could rejoice in being "normal" if we could figure out what normal is. Most normal people live quiet lives, go to work on time, go the distance to help others and not judge them, and respect and honor their marriage or loving committed relationship to someone of the opposite gender. And live the Bible a without spending their whole day typing about what everyone else should be doing. But, it's ok in the cold lonely winter to do our best to help others by sharing fellowship. Jesus said, the greatest gift was his friend, Mary, who set aside everything she was doing just to sit in His presence. But then her sister Martha, made that great confession at a later occasion. But He gave Peter, James, John and Paul different responsibilities. Men and women have different roles in life.

All I do sometimes is sleep or type my day away. And try to stay alive.

We dare not let Satan get us caught up in comparing ourselves amongst ourselves. Get as close to the center of God's revealed will for HtN as you can and never look back. I find great peace in taking time to pray for others.

Where are you drawing this quote from?

I think the word homophobia should not be used. Phobia is an irrational fear. How is it irrational precisely? There is a pretty solid scientific rationale in the fact that currently there is no explanation for why STDs are not possible for two virgins. I did a quick search and that is the assertion by planned parenthood (top of the search results). I didn't keep scrolling to see if this applies to only heterosexual relationships, I would presume there is not enough data and won't be.

Two virgins marrying is rare in the first place, I'm not going to go further than that at present but there is a potentially an incredible article that could be written.

Clearly it's just happenstance that the scriptural design and science agree with each other in this instance? It should give even a skeptic of scriptural morality pause.

I won't be explicit but sodomy (either between a man and a woman, a man and a man, or a woman and a woman) is risky even if STDs are excepted from the argument. Even the scientific community is seemingly split on this issue. With some saying such side effects are rare and other saying that it is a very real risk.

I only read one article this particular time and it's so much about dressing things up that I find it distasteful. You can present risks of certain activities and offer safety advice without trying to convince people that it's almost entirely safe. That is, if you felt there were nothing wrong with it. So even from a medical perspective, I find it misleading. Minor fecal incontinence for the rest of your life as a common issue isn't minor if it's permanent. You need your pelvic floor muscles not to be tampered with.

It looks a lot like roulette with your body.

Anyone that does any medical research can take away enough information to be extremely cautious...

The same dangers can easily be applied to a heterosexual couple, although for some reason, it is much more likely male on male. I will not assert the reason for this.

If you are unwilling to believe in the wages of unrighteousness, then at least medical and scientific knowledge should bear serious consideration.

This isn't @you specifically, just my thoughts on the particular word and the casting it has been subject to, and that it shouldn't really be used as it doesn't mean what the simple root words say at present.

Your proprietary boundaries I certainly appreciate as they mirror my own, so it's nice to feel less alone.

Sexual immorality is clear scripturally whether it's with a man, woman, dog, or corpse.
Sorry about the delay, that wrote, "heaven opens up the door where angels fear to tread," is an American country or pop song, sorry I don't always know how to access two screens to look up the song. The quote is from memory.

Ah, makes sense why I found it confusing. I think sometimes song lyrics have personal meaning in our own walks, but trying to explain how the Lord has used it in our lives is difficult to another.

For instance, I recently was thinking about something deeply late at night in my car...and I got really emotional and the song Roxanne came to mind quite clearly and I perceived the message to be about spiritual harlotry (in relation to the bride and possibly myself also, not sure). Haven't heard it in ages.

I'm still uncertain if I can accept the Lord using worldly things in that fashion, but it was pretty strong. Were it not for your reply I'm not sure if I would have thought about it again for a while (if ever). So still on the fence but thanks, it's worth thinking over again how and why that may have occurred at that juncture.

Aaand this is hinduism not Christianity. Quote from Gandhi, yet I see it quoted by Christians as if its a good thing.
Guess I'm a Jesus worshiping Hindu then
But what I don't understand is why are people so laser focused on just one thing that is stirred up by the flesh, there's a million other things stirred by the flesh and yet people don't go around and preach about it. Why the inconsistency? People need then to equally go around talking about stealing, cheating, lying, hatred, gossip... etc. Otherwise they're not preaching the full word of God just cherry picking only talking about stuff they personally don't do.

I'll try and find the right Bible verses, but just for the record, I confirm my allegiance to Christ as a Christian man of God, who is and always has been, and always will be, attracted to only women. I further agree with the statement of the United Methodist Church, even though my home church is the Orthodox Church, as a born-again Christian, that homosexuality is incompatible with Christianity. I have never been attracted to males and rejoice in being homophobic, and just because I lack resources, or even coffee money to go out on a date to find a girlfriend, does not mean I am not looking for her.

And just because I turned down a ladies offer to go to her room recently to play cards, does not count because even though I needed the money, I'm a devoted Christian, and want to build a relationship with a lady, over 45-ish, based on a loving attraction that could lead to marriage.

It's vital to obey the Lord in healthy relationships, without judging or hurting others. And to honor social boundaries (social distance/invitation) according to the Bible, socially acceptable norms (God given sacred social/geographic/spiritual parameters) parameters = not being in the presence of near the points of contact established by the social circles of others, or trespassing through media, phone texting, or other means of visible signs of being there. Except the occasional riding up on a horse at someone's wedding as a last ditch Hollywood stunt to give a lady an open window, which usually doesn't work, and isn't always safe, especially if the dude is rich and has lots of security guards.
There are no homosexuals, yet only homosexuality practitioners. After all, homosexuality is an action and people have free will and responsibility in taking it (unless they've become reprobates from over-sinning without repentance of course). All homosexuality feelings come from Satan, so must be disregarded/not-acted-upon to avoid going to Hell. Anyone who commits the sin of homosexuality is obviously spiritually disturbed and a crazy person. I've observed that all the people who commit the sin of homosexuality completely lack morals (or have very compromised morals and craziness too, like lying, stealing, laughing when inappropriate, no holiness and reverence for the Lord, not seeing all people equally, etc...). I've also observed that they've only gotten homosexual feelings after they broke God's commandments, continued in unrepented sin, or got influenced indirectly when they were young (or old sometimes) from homosexuals who forced their association on them or were allowed around them in school/work/home/other-places. I don't know why the baby boomer generation and previous generations allowed the field of psychiatry to remove homosexuality from their manual. They let us down big time with that by opening the door of homosexual rape on so many younger people who got convinced against their will that it was normal (I sadly knew a friend of an ex-girlfriend of mine who was raped like that). These people who permitted such things to happen as well as homosexual marriage in society will burn in Hell forever and deserve no mercy by anyone for the sake of the raped who deserve all the sympathy and compassion instead. That is of course unless the people who let us down fixed their mistakes and fully repented through faith in God.

Also, there is no such thing as homophobia. Aversion to homosexuality is a natural self-defense mechanism God endowed everyone with to protect them from rape and doing what is abominable. Some homosexuality practitioners might be hoping they could repress it and rape it out of people by yelling "homophobia" repeatedly, but I have observed that everyone who caved in to their rude yelling lost part of their soul and heart for going against the commands of the Lord and became immoral people in general (liars, cheats, thieves, etc...) with no feelings of remorse, and acting with bad judgement while causing many bad side-effects on society without perceiving it. In other words, they became reprobates, as in slaves for Satan with no self-control, self-discipline, regard for others, or regard for good and holy living. That's why, all manners of homosexuality must be stopped absolutely with maximum punishment if anyone hopes to fix the world or else much worse things than covid will hit the world next.

In any case, do not feel insecure about not having found a good wife yet. Some prophets married late (like Jacob at 77) and others lived long lives before they had their children (Abraham at 86-100). That kind of shaming is unchristian and comes from godless people, so ignore it. Christian people are compassionate and don't judge anyone with earthly matters like that. They only judge things relating to the Lord when someone is off the straight and narrow path, and only in order to offer a rebuke for the receiver's benefit.

Godspeed.

I think if you are against homosexuality because you believe God is against it, that is not homophobia. However if you hate homosexuals, have a long list of demeaning words to describe gays, make gay jokes, treat them badly or commit hate crimes, that is homophobic.

First of all terms 'Homophobic' and 'Homophobia' are usually improper used to begin with.

phobic [ˈfōbik] ADJECTIVE
having or involving an extreme or irrational fear of or aversion to something."she's phobic about spiders"

NOUN
a person with an extreme or irrational fear of or aversion to something."a snake phobic"

The terms should be anti gay prejudice, as in 'pre-judgement' or gay paranoid would be more appropriate. The terms Homophobic or Homophobia is not in the DSM 4 or 5. I will admit that I feared gays because I used to think of them as antisocial, militant, A.I.D.S. carriers. Jealous of and out to destroy normal straight people and society. Now that was phobic and I feared them. I have come to realize for the most part, I was wrong and my fears were unfounded. I don't think we should oppose homosexuality any more or less than common adulterers, fornicators, drunkards, liars or a very long list of other sinners. Let's not forget what we used to be.
Let's just thank the Lord that we were saved from all of those sins. Let's just spread the word that 'Jesus saves!'
