That only works when we have responsible parents. Responsible parents in this country are getting harder to find.

So they become govco responsibility? That's a cheap excuse.
Our social agenda created these irresponsible parents as well.
How about if govco has to raise them they take them and raise them in baracks as military boarding?

the govt does already raise children if they become wards of the state.
Usually these children get fostered or sent to borstal like schools, and are often on a fast track to prison.

If you find it in your heart to adopt one or three, then you might just save them from such a fate.
