What’s your favourite pork recipe?

I have purchased half a pig and it is in a Lange variety of portions in my freezer. I need lots of easy (and not too spicy) recipes From the meat eaters please.

There are a lot on the internet but I thought I would ask you to share your favourites with me .

Not keen on smoked or bbq flavouring so please don’t suggest those types of dishes.

I cooked pork chops today. Marinated them in lemon juice for two hours then made a rub with the following ingredients: brown sugar, powdered mustard, garlic and paprika. Baked them in the oven for 35-40 minutes and they came out really delicious. It had nothing to do with me and everything to do with the ingredients. Hope you try the recipe and enjoy it.

I love Chinese pork. I marinate mine with soy sauce and five spice powder. When they are cooked, I cut the pork in thin slices, and then eat it with rice and a vegetable like spinach sauteed with garlic and sesame oil.

- Stew with onion, carrot, and either mushrooms or potato. Spices: salt&pepper, oregano, mustard, and garlic, omit any of the last 3 if there's any you don't like, still works

- Roast pork loin in the oven surrounded with potatoes, cover with bacon slices (optional), fill bottom of the dish with water so it stays juicy. Rub with salt and pepper, optional green herbs OR nutmeg, nutmeg goes great with pepper but it's really magical with white pepper in savory dishes. Cook covered low and slow

- Make adobo with diced pork, onion, garlic, soy sauce (or a bit of blackstrap molasses), vinegar by taste, salt, pepper; cook together until you evaporate the vinegar and reduce it... serve with rice. Look up more recipes for adobo I am talking off the top of my head didn't cook it for a long time...

- Shortly saute pork slices, green bell peppers and onions. Add diced tomato, salt&pepper, cook until tomato turns liquid and is reduced a bit

If you add sliced ginger to the marinade, that tastes good too.
