Hi Eshton, my son's wife in in the Philippines and has been waiting a year for a VISA. It's on the US side holding it up but she's in the queue. She called the VISA office and inquired about it. It could be due to covid precautions. Fervent prayer would benefit greatly. May God bless and help her with all visa problems, in Jesus name Amen.

Hello, I am not in Vietnam right now and I can't give you proper advice regarding your gf's visa problem.

I believe there are people she can ask while she is in Vietnam,Like, her friends and colleagues. She can contact the vietnam immigration helplines regarding her visa problems or visit the Philippine Embassy in Vietnam and tell them her problem and ask for advice.

My advice is to contact every embassy/consulate involved.

Reach out to a lawyer who knows their immigration law if you can afford it.

Hello :) , I was a Designated School Official under the Department of Homeland Security working with F-1 visa holders. I hope all goes well for your daughter. I know that many of our F-1 students were experiencing delays like this back in December and many of them had to defer their admission to come to the US schools. What visa did she apply for?

Not sure how "ASEAN" works but as a Filipino citizen who works outside my country we should comply/follow both home and host country rules/laws for Immigration and employment rules/laws for securing working permits.

About if it is easy...yeah if you will enter the host country legally...I think...I've been to mid-east and south east so far no problems...Praise God 😇😊

I hope she was able to process her documents smoothly already...
