Actually, in firehouses they are attempting to social distance as much as possible.
HOWEVER, keep in mind the quarters are small, the kitchens are shared by the whole firehouse and all who occupy them, as well as the restrooms, etc. Not to mention how close the driver of the trucks/engines are to the captain, and how much closer the firefighters are to each other while riding in the cabin of the trucks/engines...........
VERY LIKELY for an entire firehouse shift to test positive at the same time.

Thank you. My kids did great the whole time. Just low fevers and runny nose. Nothing severe.
