SUNRISE......

I often times when working in my yard look to creation for Gods word in it.
When working in my garden i recall christ teaching of seed and soil, watering, weeding, prunimg ect.
What i have noticed with the rising of the sun as it seems to bring life . The birds start their morning songs as the bees start going about their daily chores. The darkness breaks away bringing color to what was hidden or grey.
What ive noticed that my shadow is behind me as the light of the sun seems to push the darkness away.
When the sun is over head it seems that my shadow is almost gone as i stand in the full light of the sun.
As the sun retreats to the west my shadow reappeares and grows the further the sun seems to go.
As it sets it seems to have taken all the vibrant colors it revealed in it rising to display across the horizon as a promise to be back again.
As night begins its time colors are once again hidden. Different sounds are heard leaving much to the imagination.
But the darkness opens up a window to the heavens where we can gaze in amazement and entertain our thoughts waiting on the rising of the sun.

just wanted to share that even though I read this correctly as sun with a "u"
at the same time I read it as:
When the Son is over head it seems that the shadows are gone as i stand in the full light of the Son.

Biblically the sun,moon and stars symbolize father mother and offspring.

Gen. 37-9

He had another dream, and told it to his brothers, saying, “Look, I have had another dream: the sun, the moon, and eleven stars were bowing down to me.” 10 But when he told it to his father and to his brothers, his father rebuked him, and said to him, “What kind of dream is this that you have had? Shall we indeed come, I and your mother and your brothers, and bow to the ground before you?”

I believe God speaks in his creation, im glad you saw the comparison. Shadows can be seen as the darkness in man or truths that are seen dimly or hidden.
I think of the pslams and also moses song when he says may Gods light shine upon you.
Its part of my meditation and my personal time with God.
