God does not want anyone to perish but all to be saved.. But some people will not accept the Way God has made to be saved and so some shall not be saved..

scripture:
2 Peter 3: KJV
9 "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

Indeed we should love the LORD with all our heart and mind..

Mark 12: KJV
30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

But again basic Christianity 101 all people fall short of the standard of the commandments thus we all need the Atonement of Jesus to have forgiveness for where we have fallen short and failed to live up to the commandments of God..

Yes.. I do not wish eternal torment for any human being..

God foreknows each person before they are even born.. And thus knows if they will accept the Way He has made for them to be saved or Reject the Way He has made for them to be saved.. So God can say and does know if someone will not be saved. God created free willed real beings.. with a Choice.. To have a choice to accept the offer of Jesus one also MUST have the option to reject the offer of Jesus.. Once you create free willed beings on earth you will have both.. Take away free will and you end up with no real created beings at all,, Just zombies..

Yes the Bible tells us to love our enemies and not to take revenge on others.. We pass all judgement over to God and by not taking revenge we give the other person more time to repent of their evil toward us and be saved.. Jesus wanted those who executed Him to be forgiven.. So we also should desire those who do us wrong to repent and be forgiven..

Luke 6: KJV
27 "¶ But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, {28} Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you."

We do not know that persons future.. Only God does.. We may believe that are a useless / hopeless case.. But we are just human beings we are not perfect.. So we preach the message of the Gospel to them in the hope that one day before they die they will come to accept the good news of the Gospel and they will be saved..
Evidently, you do not know what God saw by his foreknowledge; Psalms 53:2-3, God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God. Every one of them is gone back, they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

But Dan 4:33 says that God has his way among the inhabitants of the earth and that no man can stay his hand. Do you think that the scriptures contradict themselves, with your theory that God wants to save all mankind, but man won't let him?
Scripture says God wishes that all men should be saved. But we know through other Scriptures not all mankind will be saved so why is that? Free will explains this.

I am not seeing the scriptural disharmony that you are suggesting exists here. While Ezekiel 33:11 may have been contextually directed at a specific audience, it does not remain untrue for other groups. 2 Peter 3:9 clearly states that God's will is that none should perish and that all should come to repentance.

If we are harmonizing the scriptures then there are numerous references to God not being a respector of persons regardless of someone's status as a Jew or Gentile. Let's start with this one:

Romans 2:5-10
5But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; 6Who will render to every man according to his deeds: 7To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: 8But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, 9Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; 10But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: 11For there is no respect of persons with God.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness , but is long suffering toward US, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
What Peter is saying is that God has plans to save others in the future. That is why He is long suffering and not willing that those chosen in the future should die. Notice that the message is directed to Us (saved Christians).

Romans 9 (New King James Version)

22What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, 23and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory, 24even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

2 Peter 3:9 says tat God is not willing that ANY should perish, but all should come to repentance. He is talking about all the people in the future that will be chosen by Him to be saved by His granting them the repentance that leads to salvation. He is not talking about all mankind.

We are prepared on Earth through either rebellion or faith in Christ.

That is an interesting twist on the scripture.

God chastens those that he loves. Romans 2 is explaining what happens to God's born again children, when they are disobedient, and he chastens them. Verse 4 reaffirms this in saying that the goodness of his chastenings leads, those of his children that are suffering the tribulations and anguish of his chastenings, to repentance.

The goodness and longsuffering and forbearance of God for his children is demonstrated in Romans 2:4, the same as he demonstrates it in 2 Pet 3:9.

By your theory, you are sending way more to hell than the scriptures teach. The scriptures are written to God's born again children, instructing them how he wants them to live their lives as they sojourn here on earth.

The tense of this verse suggests that God's state of being is patient while perpetually wanting no one to perish but all to come to repentance. Since God is eternal and unchanging, the nuance here is that this is in reference to the past, present, and future. Remember, all have sinned. The "us" is the human race in general, not saved Christians who have already repented.

The scriptures uphold the fact that God, did indeed, give mankind the freedom to choose out how he wants to live his life as he sojourns here on earth, but mankind's eternal inheritance is made by God's sovereign grace, without the choice of mankind.

God's inspired scriptures are instructions as to how he wants his born again children to live their lives as they sojourn here on earth, but there is not any of us that follow his instructions all of the time, and he chastens us when we do not.

I think we interpret Romans 2 differently. I think Romans 2 is meant to be a persuasive hellfire and brimstone sermon to get non-Christians to repent and convert to Christianity.

Because of God's foreknowledge that no one would seek him, is the reason that he choose an elect people before the foundation of the world, Eph 1:4

God predetermined that he would adopt his elect children by his Son's death to pay for their sins on the cross as payment for their adoption, Eph 1:4

All of God's elect children are born into this world tainted with the sin of Adam, and sometime between the elects natural birth and their natural death, God quickenes them to a spiritual life with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit enabling them to believe in the things of the Spirit, by the revelation of the Holy Ghost.

The final phase of God's adoption of his elect will be when he sends Christ back to gather up his elect and brings them home.

Our legal system still uses the same method to adopt children in this day and time.

Respectfully, I still think that God instigates conversion through the revelation of the Holy Ghost within them, and not the preachers sermon.

Repentance of breaking a spiritual law only comes from the person that has been quickened to the new spiritual life in regeneration.

The unregenerate natural man, as described in 1 Cor 2:14, will repent of breaking a spiritual law that he cannot discern, and thinks it to be foolishness.
