K
So Im getting married in under 6 weeks and Im pretty excited.
Im very happy with my choice of husband. We've been celibate for our entire relationship, despite both of us having come short of biblical standards in the past.
This weekend we're going to sign the lease on the apartment we will live in (he will move in straightaway and I will join him shortly after wedding).
Its getting to the point where I am thinking about being married (ie and all the perks we've been waiting for lol) ALL THE TIME. I know the bible says lust is a no no except in marriage but what about the weeks comming up to marriage like in my case?
Secondly, I don't want to fall into the trap of thinking marriage (at least the first year anyway) is just going to be lots of sex (see can't help it!). You think I have it bad? My fiance has been celibate A LOT longer than I have and its driving him crazy as well.
Neither of us have lived with each other before and we've tried to go over things that we individually do as habits around the house so as to prepare each other, but sometimes a habit is so ingrained you may not even know its a habit. And I mean like little things like leaving the toilet seat up, the way a person squeeses toothpaste or how a person washes the dishes etc.
So heres an even bigger question to the married ladies here:
What habit did you not know your hubby had until you lived together? And what did you do about it?
