Christ-mass=breaking bread on the day the Church commemorates Jesus' birth. And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

pffft, He only instituted the Passover, nothing else.Christ-mass=breaking bread on the day the Church commemorates Jesus' birth.
Not really. His disciples instituted it. They decided to do it on the day of the week Jesus rose from the dead.pffft, He only instituted the Passover, nothing else.
Like @Scribe wrote many will call it a bad thing. Non believers going to church is a bad thing?Has anyone noticed that some non believers only go to church when it's Christmas ?
yes, He did.Not really. His disciples instituted it. They decided to do it on the day of the week Jesus rose from the dead.
The catholic church also named pagan gods as saints to appease the pagans to get them in the church. Each saint has a specific purpose just like the pagan gods they represent.thats why, after i left the salvos, i did some research about it.
seems these celebrations are ingrained into the non-catholic churches, and few people have questioned why.
they just go along with it.
the rainbow ?It's sad toe that some of these Christians are so patriated
into babylonian that they allow the babel to become their language. And so they will succumb to the double talk that they will allow babylon to destroy yet another Christian icon, just as they did the rainbow.
Christianity let them have it.the rainbow ?
What, make it a symbol of homosexuality ?
Amen! Could God stoop any lower? Some churches take the Lord's supper every Sunday and take it very serious. Contemplating every word Jesus said about the supper. And we still celebrate Christmas. For the weeks before Christmas we study the prophecies that foretold of his coming, and his promise to return, and his revelation of himself to his disciples.
Them on Christmas we celebrate his birth, and his promise to return. We see his birth and the fulfillment of the prophecies of old as evidence of his promise to return. And it shows us more connected with the saints of old.
As they awaited his coming we await his return.
Y'all just don't appreciate what actually happened when God became flesh. You regard it as a common thing. Which is sad. Rather than the miraculous thing that it is. That God would condescend to be human and dwell among and suffer with, wretched humans in this valley of the shadow of death. This is the very definition of grace, grace lived out in out world of sin and death and pain and suffering. And you don see it as worthy to celebrate. That our savior came to us as one of us.
Those purposes are the proper place they abandoned. Guess who takes their places of cosmic governance? The catholic church also named pagan gods as saints to appease the pagans to get them in the church. Each saint has a specific purpose just like the pagan gods they represent.
may I ask, when the Christians let them have the rainbow ?Christianity let them have it.
The moment they started flying the rainbow and we didn't challenge them. The church didn't stake claims on the public arena of ideas.may I ask, when the Christians let them have the rainbow ?
is my question illegal ?
ok.The moment they started flying the rainbow and we didn't challenge them. The church didn't stake claims on the public arena of ideas.
Ps there are no "illegal" questions.
I think the same thing that makes the word 'gay' a symbol of homosexuality.the rainbow ?
What, make it a symbol of homosexuality ?
Oh brother! Re-defining common words in a common language is an old brain washing technique. Politicians and cult leaderships have been using them since before I (most likely we) were born.the rainbow ?

Cases in point. Gay: Happy and care free. In a good mood having a good time, Fun.
Antonyms: Faggots/dykes,censored, child molesters...
Liberal: Generous, open minded, modern thinking...
Antonyms: Socialists, communists, baby killers.
Relationship: How things work together/working together. Compromise...
Antonyms: Sex, affair, conspiracy, Quid pro Quo...
I could go on but it's both boring and depressing.
All these things are irrelevant. The question each of us must ask ourselves is whitch holidays are best, the holidays the Lord tells us of or the holidays man has decided on.you came out of left field we were talking about the word "Christmas" I guess you find it to be biblical? Santa is not about the birth of Christ we are in agreement. BUT remember the Birth of Jesus was celebrated before the creation of Santa Claus the gut in the red suit 1820's. 1863 is when the the more traditional guy came to be all well after hundreds of years of celebrating the Birth of Christ .
SO I ask you how did a pagan secular tradition false narrative some how come before the Birth of Christ and the Christ-mass was created out of Santa Claus which came after the church recognized and honored the Birth of Jesus? it didn't . the church is known to have "Christ-mass about the 9th century, however, that is still not the earliest account. The Gospel recorded Matthew chapter 2 and Luke chapter 2. This was so profound that even in the year 2020 the secular media called the Planet lining up on the 21st of December not " Santa's star" but it was widely reported around the world as the "Christmas Star". Even by CNN .
