Isn’t it written to Christians? Only Christians know Jesus.

Hebrews‬ ‭1:1-2‬ ‭
God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world.
‭‭

‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭
All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness.
All the Bible is for us but not all the bible is to us .

And that would be a true fact.
Only in the sense that whosoever may come for salvation. But its not as the cults teach . That Jesus is the example of how to be saved. That we do as he told, and if we do well we get saved at the end ..maybe .

"For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat

For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil." Please explain the concern here
Yes this verse is very pertinent to my point .
' For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe' .

Many instead of Growing and being transformed by the renewing of the mind . Rom 12.2 have been snared by a denomination / tradition / false teacher , teaching ' Lordship salvation ' instead . But Every believer is a new creation ,spiritually ,not physically.

"Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; "
Notice its ' believe on me ' Through THEIR WORD . According to Paul's epistles what is the message of salvation ? What is the good news we preach today ? 1 cor 15 .1-4 is the Gospel we preach. We preach Romans 10 ,9

Jesus paid the penalty for our sins . To recieve the free gift of salvation a person has to accept this free gift. Any attempt to do something to merit the gift is a rejection of the free gift. The free gift has to accepted without any bargaining or promises or trade. Its freely given on the basis of coming empty handed ,unworthy and simply through faith . Faith is the prerequisite ,not " i will promise to earn it ' ,or i pledge my allegiance and commitment " But rather " I accept that you died for my sins by your blood and I cannot earn it . I don't deserve it . I come empty handed and I accept the free gift that you purchased in my stead " Whosoever humbles himself and accepts the truth of 1 cor 15 .1-4 and recieves by Romans 10.9-10 will be saved.
Everything else is false teaching , religion and Lordship salvation garbage.

The clue to the book of Hebrews is in who its written to ..HEBREWS .So its best understood in light of who the Author is addressing.
When you realize that "God is no respecter of persons", then you'll understand that the expectations of God which (Paul) communicated to the Hebrews are the same expectations He has for all Christians - can you see how quickly Dispensationalism crumbles under the weight of Bible truth?

Let's hear it from God the Son himself
Matt 15.
24¶But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Matt 10

5¶These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

6But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

7And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

8Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Now are you saying that this is to us today ? Do we follow Jesus words today ? . I don't claim to be any ' ist ' or ' ism ' but I simply see things different are not the same. To not see the transitions and differences in the bible is quite worrying actually .

if i was to point someone in the direction of a good church or a bible teacher ,I'd feel ok recommending Dave Hunt , Arnold fruchtenbaum , chuck misler I believe all good teachers encourage you to search the scriptures for yourself . Now I don't agree with everything they teach but i would recommend. Out of interest who would you recommend that believes similar views to your self and which church ( type ) is where you would recommend a person attend ?

Sigh.....OK, I'm gonna regret this, but here it goes:

1. After Israel got punished and sent to Babylon, God revealed that He was putting them on a 490 year probation: the SEVENTY WEEKS OF DANIEL which began in 457 B.C. with "the going of the commandment to restore and build Jerusalem" which is found in Ezra 7.

2. They had 490 years to put away idolatry and get back on track to doing what God had originally called them out of Egypt to do: prepare the world for the first coming of Jesus.

3. Jesus finally showed up to His people, and they were supposed to accept Him as King, and carry the news to the ends of the Earth so that they too would accept Him.

4. They rejected and crucified Him.

5. In 34 A.D., 490 years after the decree, Stephen was stoned by the Jews themselves as an official, national Jewish rejection of Jesus - their probation ended and the Gospel commission left them and was given to the Gentiles.

Ok, but my point was that those verses are not to us . I know what they mean .You seem to take verses and apply them as if they are spoken ' to ' us ? Why ?

My point is that everyone is a dispensationalist in some sense . Unless your still building your Ark , sacrificing animals, showing yourself to the priests, Only preaching to jews and preaching the Gospel of the kingdom still ?

You keep trying to establish Dispensationalism by saying Jesus was sent only to Israel...but for what reason? So that they would carry the message to all the world, right or wrong? When they refused, He kicked the Jews to the curb and gave us the commission.
So, how in the world does Dispensationalism fit here?

We are told many things about this, but what is the bottom line?

We cannot be saved through obedience to the law.

In Gelasian’s 2: 19 “For through the law I died to the law so that I might live to God.

Romans 6: 2 “How shall we, that dead to sin, live any more therein”.

In Matthew 3;2 we are told that the ministry of Christ centered on repentance. As Matthew spoke of Christ beginning His ministry he said consisted of: Matt:2 “Repent ye; for the kingdom of heaven is in hand”. If we live in a state of repentance, we live by the perfection of Christ, wanting to be sinless like Christ.

Christ told us to be perfect as the Lord is perfect. We know that is impossible except through Christ. Can we accept the sin in our life as OK and still have Christ within?

We are told that if we claim perfection, we lie. Yet all our sins are forgiven through Christ and we can live as if are perfect.

We know that there is no sin except blasphemy that we can’t be forgiven for. We also know we can depend completely on the promises of the Lord, and we are promised forgiveness if we repent and ask.

What is the bottom line from all these?
When Jesus said " Be perfect" as He is Perfect. We must look a little deeper into the context of the word "Perfect " as it used there and with other passages in the Bible.

When Jesus said in Matthew 5:48 " Be ye therefore perfect" , the word contextually means complete and maturity. The word Perfect is used in the same way in the Hebrew

God is Perfect Complete without incompletion lacking nothing

the first time " Perfect is used in the KJV is found in Genesis 6:9 speaking of Noah. Perfect here in context to Noah was innocence and figurately speaking of Noah's morals. Because Noah walked with God as it states in verse 9

in the Old Testament the word Perfect is used to describe :

Perfect day
Perfect work
Perfect heart
Perfect gold
Perfect peace

in each of these in the Old Testament, the word "perfect " speaks of faithfulness, holiness, maturity, and completeness.

When Jesus said " Be Perfect" Jesus is saying this is something you have to do but be "Perfect"

Does have to do something to be holy? No. God is Holy. Did Jesus have to be holy? no. He is holy. God doesn't have to do to be perfect, HE is Perfect. How are you to be what God is? receive the perfect heart. One that desires to love God with all that will produce an action that will speak of the "Perfect" in you.

Doesn't Peter say that we are to be a "royal priesthood, a HOLY nation"?

I think California communism is starting to rot ya brain, bro :p When you moving to Texas?

I assume people do not need citations for well known verses like when James exposes the total impotency of "without works" dead faith with the Biblical truth of "by works" living faith. He does this because he knew there'd come a time when people would seek to obtain by dead faith that which can only be obtained by living faith: eternal life.

Seems to me if a person is not at least familiar with well known verses, they should probably address that deficiency first.
I detected a hint of your pride in your attempt to put me down. I enjoy defending my beliefs and would enjoy defending them with you, but could we keep it civil? I detest heated conversations.

Eternal life is a free gift. We do not "obtain" it.

don't result in insults because you lack understanding. There are many people who believe they are part of a"royal priesthood" yet they are still incomplete in how they live for God. I think I am going to stay here and endure to their end only weak wimp Californian Christians leave for the easy life in TX. it take a committed Christian to live here :)

Amen! The problem is that Christians want to make that a one sided coin. They don't want to accept the many Biblical warnings that if at any time on the path of righteousness we decide to turn around and go the other way, we forfeit our salvation.

They think Jesus' command to "abide in the vine" means they can choose between the "True Vine" or Satan's holly-wood tree - as if either one is sufficient to keep them out of the burn pile.
Again, I am assuming that your comment, "decide to turn around and go the other way" means "when we commit a sin".

The unregenerate, natural man will not repent of breaking a spiritual that he cannot discern, and thinks it to be foolishness. Only the regenerated person will repent of breaking a spiritual law.

When the regenerated person commits a sin, he separates himself from his fellowship with God, because God will not fellowship sin. When he repents, God accepts him back into his fellowship. Sin does not void the regenerated persons eternal inheritance, because every one of the sins that he commits was paid in full for those that God gave to his Son.

His hand is well beyond Satan's reach, but is open for any saint who decides to jump back into the world.

BTW, beautiful artwork ;)
Your statement that "if they decide to jump back into the world, they will be eternally lost is" directly opposite of the scripture that Magenta presented to you.
