I don't view the world through a Calvinist lens.
Praise God! :)

The article is not theological and what he states is absolutely valid as a commentary on the state of Christianity.

These are truth statements from the article.

But, as Christians, we can start now—just by not being afraid to say what is objectively the truth.
1. Joe Biden has been elected president.
2. Millions of babies are being aborted.
3. The pandemic is real.
4. So is racial injustice—both personal and systemic.
5. So is the sexual abuse of women and children.

If Christians are people of truth, we ought to be the first to acknowledge reality.

Since you don't live here you can take whatever side you choose, it makes no difference whatsoever to you if we loose our freedom of speech or right to bear arms. It makes no difference to your life, you can sit and pontificate all day long, it's just empty talk. Believe whatever you wish. Your thoughts have no bearing on the situation at all. When you move here, we'll take your POV seriously. Otherwise, you have nothing to add to the conversation.
The POV is from an American source, a Christian one at that.

It wasn't a joke, merely an observation of the right wing Christians that associate anything with the democratic party with communism. It's disorder in itself.
Agree, I was laughing at the font size, I give it an agree instead.

Christians need to become self aware and realize they have been politically radicalized and have lost sight of their biblical role in society.

I'm wondering why two of the loudest voices here on America politics are from Canada?
But you don't seem to having any problems with the other Canadians voicing their opinions supporting trump, or the ones from the UK?

Hah. Double standard.

Qanon is a friend group of lunatics who keeps spreading bat poop crazy conspiracy theories
And they need to be held accountable for the damage they have caused
I know you can actually hit the middle of the road from time to time. So you'd agree that BLM and Antifa, and those who bailed them out of jail this summer, should ALSO be held accountable for the damaged they've caused.

I don't have an issue with anyone voicing their opinions. I have trouble with people who call Trump supporters cultists and terroists, Nazis. And I don't think the Dems are communists, I think the party is split and when the radicals try to push their agenda I hope true Dems will stand up against them and root them out of their party. Hah, no double standard. Don't put words in my mouth son.

How do we know the violence was from BLM protesters and not from some anarchists/thieves taking advantage of the large crowd for cover. It's too bad the BLM didn't disperse when it got dark as that seems to have been when the chaos started.

Then we'd agree. There are radicals in every party, in every religion.

@Roughsoul1991 so only Americans can comment on American politics?

So all the opinion pieces, research and books published about USSR, China and the Middle East and every other part of the world by

Americans should be stopped, they do not live there?

I have never once on here told someone they cannot offer a view, a fact or an opinion on Canadian politics.

A person who needs to impose this barrier wants to shut down a different view based on a straw man.

BTW...there is a whole field of study called Political Science and International Relations

And there it is, they're not guilty. You give them a pass. And that is actually a double standard.

I think it is understood that we do not regard everyone a cultist or terrorist.
It is just to avoid being wordy having to specify in words ......that it is not each and every person each and every time.

Yes, we know how you like to study politics 11th. No is trying to shut down another view. But you're not simply sharing another view and you know it. Don't act like a victim, you're not. You have more free speech here then you do in Canada.

Q was an obvious psyop if there ever was one until it got too big for the handlers to control. It's been growing since about four years ago, spurred along by an anonymous online oracle.

It tsgeted a long forgotten, but large, demographic. Who would have thought that tapping into the spirit of a forgotten people, restoring their honor, and promising them a better future would motivate them.

When people feel powerless, they want to take their power back.

And there in lies the problem with American politics. All too often winner takes all and entire populations go forgotten and marginalized.

Want to cool people down fast? Give everyone equal representation in the the government, even those who aren't the most popular. You'll never get that in America, though. Things are about to take a hard left again and we'll be tremendously more divided than before.

I'm glad to hear that from you. We have people in power, MSM anchors, saying Trump supporters need to be deprogrammed. So that would say to me that they in fact do regard each of us as cultists and terrorists. Perhaps now you understand my directness when I speak to you and others who don't seem to see what is happening, or has the potential to happen in America. I don't see all Dems as radicals either. In fact I don't even see Biden as a radical, but I think the radicals in the party treat him as a useful idiot. And I fear that by the time those who aren't radicals figure out what's going on it will be too late.

From World Magazine, excerpts, full story link below.

KELLY WOLFE had been dating her boyfriend since January, but it wasn’t until the pandemic hit that she found out he was deep into QAnon. The apocalyptic internet movement’s central tenet is that a secret Satanic cabal is running the world and using sex trafficking and other nefarious activities to preserve its power.

Wolfe’s boyfriend started talking to her about how 5G networks caused the coronavirus and how suspicious it was that Tom Hanks became a Greek citizen recently (QAnon followers allege he and many other celebrities are pedophiles). Wolfe sent him an article from the Gospel Coalition that states how harmful slander and gossip from QAnon is to the church. He broke up with her.

More recently, she watched a Christian friend of hers dive deep into QAnon on social media over the course of a few weeks: The friend started by posting concerns about child trafficking (World Day Against Trafficking was back in July), then other friends responded by sending her posts and videos about QAnon. Before long she was posting more and more about Q and the “cabal” running the world: “She is almost militant about it now,” Wolfe said.

Wolfe and her boyfriend eventually reconciled and started dating again, and they have agreed to conversation boundaries about QAnon. But Wolfe is at a loss in knowing how to respond to such theories, and she knows of no Christian resources for it. She is not the only one.

The QAnon movement is a false narrative built on accurate facts and data, but the context of said data was intentionally poisoned and the narrative is a counterfeit as a result. This is how convincing lies are built. Accurate facts and data are used and twisted to mean things they do not mean, with false connections created. From there a convincing (as in "makes sense logically" or "appeals to emotion") tale is then told around it.
There was no way to verify who Q was, or if it was even the same person posting each time.
They are right in that Trump was up against a global cabal, and that pedophilia WAS involved with them, but the story of the whole thing was NOT what it was about. We all know the organizations that we collectively refer to as the "Illuminati" operate. In fact really if anything the Bible confirms all of this. And they are indeed Luciferian in nature and Satanically lead.
But not in the way that some understand. Truth is, if we aren't embedded in the organization, we CANNOT know what they are planning, aside from the grand end goal that the Bible tells us is coming. We can spot signs but beyond that all we can do is speculate.

QAnon attempted to create a narrative, or it was a hoax. All it did was damage the reputation of Trump and Trump supporters.
Personally I believe this was intentional. Good people led astray by lies.
