For those who don't know what making All other states like California would mean, take from me who is living here born and raised.

Under Governor Gavin Newsom, who is seeing his Re-call gaining more momentum, let's just see if California is what all America wants?

This statement by Biden was most likely told to him by K. Harris. Biden is going to have serious cognitive issues so Harris will be running the show.
On to CA,

California has the Fouth-largest economy in the world. Yet they have massive debt, that the rest of the states will pay for through your taxes, Thank you all for that.

We have a lot of number ones too. Ca is ranked 27th of all states. but is it #1 in poverty of all states(Hover institute).

Number one in the worst traffic why? because our roads are terrible. and infrastructure. California job growth well below national ave. California is underperforming because California is #1 in people leaving the state(NY is #2)remember if they do away with the electrical college these two states would decide every POTUS. in 2018 CA predicted 800, 000 leaving (families) over a 5 year period they were wrong, over a million have already left within two years and more going.
Hey, we are # 1 in Homeless :). We are 49th in housing affordability. and the average income is 35K yet they can barely make it due to over taxation. Our school system sucks, and they have a democratic supermajority in the state Assembly and state government.

they had rolling blackouts due to poor energy regulations and drought and fires. Yet the new Guy that is now the POTUS wants to make your State like mine :). Enjoy because they all are on board to do it. The GOP will let them too and blame it all on the left with hopes to take back the House and Senate.

Personally, I'm more outraged with the Repubs. I expect a Dem to be a Dem. But the elite in the Repub party need to go, yesterday, starting with Mitch. What a swamp dweller he turned out to be. Kiss anyones bum that's presented to him. Most of our parties top peoples heads need to roll in the next election. They do nothing for us, they have no backbone. As my father has always said, "Want to make your Rep. work for you? Don't re-elect them. Time to clean house, top to bottom. When they call my home to get my vote again they're going to hear the rosary backwards !!

I would think Mitch will retire after this term. That too is why he did what he did. Watch he will be gone and try to slip someone who will be like him. People need to seek office themselves. IF a Bartender can get in there so can others. we need to stop looking to those of families who served in the past the Kennedys, Bushes, etc...

While I do agree, people are afraid of what will happen to them and their family. Every deed you've ever done or thought will be brought to light and spun. Look how Trump and his family have been treated, painted as racist, derided, torn apart. His poor wife just torn to pieces. Who wants that? Who can stand that as a family? For instance, Katie Couric said this week that Trump supporters need to be deprogrammed. She had such a sincere, worried look on her little wrinkled face. So I went digging, here's what I found...

That's her, playing him on Halloween.

Her again, cozying up to the man himself.

See the pattern?!

Wow Kayla,
A lot of people in the UK have been saying the same about our Conservatives in Britain over the last 10 years. The levels of treachery, foreign collusion and betrayal are staggering. It's hard to tell the difference within the 2 main parties anymore. The priorities of the leadership in the West have diverged from those of the people to an alarming degree.

I've never heard the backward rosary expression before though :)

Then we are all in the same boat it seems. There is one party system here. I just didn't realize it till until this election. These elites don't give a fig about us. They have all gone globalist. We have no one in our corner politically, to represent us. It seems we are in the last days.

Oh, and the expression is my mothers. My husband cracks up because she has so many he's never heard before. lol

They seem increasingly out of touch, unaccountable and not the least bit interested in the concerns of their voters.

I think I would like your mother

I think you both see things clearly. Elites exist in every society, but they need a social and economic system of divided authority and diffused power analogous to America's federalist system.

Our elites don't have this. Elite culture has become a self-sustaining monoculture. Their relationship with the "host" population has become more parasitic than symbiotic.

California is America's version of a girl who is a 10 on Tinder but a 5 when you meet her.

Whereas Oklahoma puts minimal effort into her photos, but is just electric when across the dinner table.

those are a lot of issues for a supposed glamour part of America.

I've ranged and ridden all over this land. The only area I haven't touched yet is the upper Midwest (North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota).

Crossing into California on the i15 was the only time I ever felt weird for not having my passport close at hand. The roads immediately roughened. The buildings along the highway were largely dilapidated. Gas was about two dollars more per gallon. There was this sort of agricultural checkpoint at the Nevada border.

Driving back to Vegas felt like a return to civilization.

only a five ?
Gee, that's not too appealing then.

Her twin sister, New York, doesn't have quite the same scenery, but I'd move back there in a heartbeat if my only other choice was Cali.

Joe Biden signed many new Executive Orders today removing many (17)of Trump's. Do you know which ones?

Here are the topics many have more than one Executive order:

  1. COVID-19
  2. Economy
  3. Environment
  4. Equity
  5. Census
  6. Immigration
  7. regulations

Biden today :

  • Stops the United States' withdrawal from the World Health Organization, with Dr. Anthony Fauci becoming the head of the delegation to the WHO
  • Rejoins the Paris climate accord, a process that will take 30 days
  • Cancels the Keystone XL pipeline and directs agencies to review and reverse more than 100 Trump actions on the environment
  • Rescinds the Trump administration's 1776 Commission, directs agencies to review their actions to ensure racial equity
  • Requires non-citizens to be included in the Census and apportionment of congressional representatives
  • Reverses the Trump administration's restrictions on US entry for passport holders from seven Muslim-majority countries
  • Undoes Trump's expansion of immigration enforcement withinthe the United States
  • Halts construction of the border wall by terminating the national emergency declaration used to fund it
  • Directs OMB director to develop recommendations to modernize regulatory review and undoes Trump's regulatory approval process
Six other cannot be done today must wait until June or need Congress oversite.

I could only ever find 4.02/gal gas along the i15. It was nuts.

I live in the South. I was used to 1.90/gallon gas until I temporarily relocated out west. The sticker shock.
