I understand where you're coming from. In my opinion, I agree there is a censorship of right-aligned ideology. The difference we have is that I won't go to a random atheist person's house and demand he and his family hear my belief that Jesus is the Savior of the world. Social media has always been left-leaning, and as unfortunate as it is, it is their right to be biased as 1st amendment rights do not apply to their users. It's no different than my demanding the right to be heard in an atheist's home.

The best thing to do is not be a part of any social media that you feel censors what you believe and stand for. It would be extremely counter-productive and counter-intuitive to help popularize a platform you're against.

Oops didn't see that last line. I agree, but it's the only means I have to keep in touch with my family back home. I'm hoping something else will pop up and I can jump to that. Literally all my family is on FB I think. lol

That is a lie. I have said countless times that I do not support him. You continue to lie despite being told the truth. You are continuing in that lie, and in bearing false witness against a neighbor. That is by definition un-Christian.


I wouldn't say I "mocked" him or have "hate" for him. I will say that I spoke vehemently and freely against him, because I believe he was extremely dangerous in the position that he was in for 4 years. More than 1/2 of Americans agree with me. A lot of Christians agree with me. A huge majority of the free world agrees with me. The Russians LOVED having him in office. If that wasn't enough to make people think he was dangerous, I don't know what would convince them.

They were. Calling someone names is un-Christian. It doesn't matter how "righteous" you think you are. Your behavior was called out by several people who even agreed with you. One of your cohorts even suggested you had dementia. If your behavior is such that some people -- even people who generally agree with you -- think you're losing your mind, you may want to consider what you're saying and doing.

I think in the near future, the conversation/debate will be focused on "should 1st amendment rights be forced upon private corporations/platforms".

Conservative Republicans will almost unanimously vote to push for it as they are the side that gets censored more. Democrats will have the ironic stance and say "let business be sovereign of their own product".

As a Libertarian, I try not to pick and choose when I want to use a particular argument. Generally, I feel private business owners should run their business as they see fit, with minimal interference from the government. So even though I wish corporations choose to not censor a particular ideology, I am hesitant to agree that government should get involved. More often than not, bad things happen when the government gets involved.

“I seen”, that’s how most folks down home Lower Alabama’s speaking. Leastways in rural areas (not that we really have any urban areas lol).

I been told by complete strangers many a-time that I must be a non native English speaking person due to my rural, redneck vernacular. Reckon it looks bad in writing, but orally I’d say it sounds sort of like English lol.
Ah, yes. Putting a southern drawl on it, it makes more sense.

I have not witnessed such censorship by the US government. I have witnessed "censorship" by various corporate entities, some right-aligned and some left-aligned, but a business can choose its own content. It's not censorship, it's just the corporation making decisions about what to allow and what not to allow. Censorship is when a government agency disallows a certain point of view. If you have some evidence of that happening in the US, bring it forward. Otherwise, you're crying wolf.

This is not true. There are plenty of right-leaning social media out there. There are also plenty of neutral social media.

I actually generally agree with this.

While I normally side with the liberals on some issues, including gay rights, when it comes to businesses, this is one place where liberals and I part ways.

I am a tax preparer, and own my own business. If I wanted to say that I refuse to do taxes for, say, gay couples, or Republicans, or Democrats, or white people, or whatever demographic, I should have the right to make that decision. It would be a STUPID decision to make. Why would I want to deny business? I want to serve as many people as possible. I don't care what your story is. Unless you're asking me to commit tax fraud, I want your business.

While this can be true for some, perhaps you, others try to defend Biden as a more Godly, good, family man. And then they are called out on their hypocrisy. If you're holding up morals as a standard, Biden is no different.

Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance is looking into a variety of allegations of financial improprieties. Court documents show that Vance is investigating "possibly extensive and protracted criminal conduct at the Trump Organization," Trump's family business, which could include falsifying business records, insurance fraud and tax fraud.

While the campaign finance violation of Individual-1 isn't a federal case, New York state law says falsifying business records in furtherance of an illegal act is a felony. Cohen has also alleged that Trump effectively uses two sets of numbers in his business, one with higher values to secure loans and a second with lower values to minimize taxes, according to his congressional testimony and published interviews. While Trump has declined to release his tax returns, saying he is under audit, The New York Times obtained many years of his tax records and determined that he had paid no federal income tax for 10 of the years and $750 in each of two other years.

These sensationalized and dramatized stories are just red meat. It keeps the left versus right paradigm active and makes you feel like you're getting justice for perceived wrongs.

Lots of noise, barely any action. Bet on it.

They wrote a news article about nothing but pure speculation. It's meant to keep you hungry in anticipation for more. The American public are blood thirsty to see their political enemies crucified. Kind of like when people used to chant "lock her up!" and literally nothing happened to her. These people aren't going to pay for their real or perceived crimes.

Pay attention, as soon as a story runs out of steam they quickly change narratives and use a lot of loaded language to sensationalize nothing. Again, a lot of noise and no action.

Out of all of the "scandals" from the past four years they all flopped. Everything from corruption in the DNC, to leaked memos, leaked audio, Russiagate, Kavanaugh hearings, etc. It's all political theater. You all are taking this wayyyyyy too seriously.
