Yes and when David took his generals wife and had sex with her, should we take that as doctrine that we can not only lust after another mans wife but sleep with her?

SO, if you have conflicting verses (they are not conflicting but you make them to be), and God says Baptize all nations in the name of the Father Son and Holy Spirit, and you have another which you interpret to only mean Jews....

Who's word should you take, mans or Gods?

The Bible is an accurate documentation of Gods work in the world through man. Not a documentation of infallible men.
I was baptised in that fashion. It was not the h20 that saved me . Its what happened as explained by Paul , TO THE CHURCH , in eph 1 .12-13 that saved . You cannot get any more clear than Eph 1.12-13 . ROM 10 ,9 and 1 cor 15 ,1-4 . NO MENTION OF WATER ..

How dare your take away the words of Christ and say "He never said that" after being quoted His exact words.

You are not looking for a discussion on truth, you are looking for an audience to beg on your word.

HOW DARE YOU!

Christs words are EVERYTHING and He said, all nations need to be baptized to be saved.

Mark 16, Matthew 28.

Now I am angry. Extremely angry.

HOW DARE YOU SAY I AM ADDING TO SCRIPTURE WHEN YOU ARE THE ONE ADDING TO SCRIPTURE!

Mark 16

15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

WHEN YOUR DOGMA HAS BECOME SO GREAT THAT YOU THROW AWAY WORDS OF CHRIST AND ACCUSE OTHERS OF "ADDING TO CHRISTS WORDS" WHEN THEY ARE QUOTING THEM, BECAUSE IT DOESN'T FIT YOUR DOGMA...... YOU ARE IN A VERY BAD SPOT.
We are saved when we are ' baptised ' ( immersed) into the body of Christ by the Holy Spirit . Which is completely separate from the command to be water baptised as representative of this . Just as we take communion, representative of the death of Christ .

And not only are you discounting the words of Christ, and throwing them away. But you are encouraging others to not be Baptized in the way Christ Commanded!!!

HOW DARE YOU!

You asked for a verse that said where it said Gentiles had to be baptized, I gave 2.

I asked for a verse that said where gentiles do not have to be baptized, you gave 0.

I have quoted Christ, you have quoted men incorrectly.

I rebuke your teaching, it is of Satan, and of the same teaching that has become popular, where they take fasting out of prayer to lessen the power of the Body of Christ... But what you do is even worse, you are trying to cut the body off at its neck. HOW DARE YOU.

I have give 2 verses where Christ Himself said to baptize ALL NATIONS.

Give 1 where anyone said "do not baptize the gentiles"

Your dogma is not based on Christ but your own mind.

Still waiting for a single verse....

Christ was God Himself, yet was baptized of water to receive the Holy Spirit. And you claim to do something Christ could not do Himself.

I said there is no directive anywhere where gentiles are told " Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
This is told to a SPECIFIC audience which were told to DO specific things .

BOTH SAY ALL NATIONS!

But here is another verse

John 3:5 5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Now give me a verse where it says gentiles do not have to be baptized.

Someone is quoting Jesus Himself, and another person is not

I would contend that ALL should observe the command to take communion the same way to observe the ordinance to get wet as a representative of what the Holy Spirit did when a person first trusted.

13¶In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

NO WATER .

12¶For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
13For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
NO WATER .

9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashame
NO WATER .

1¶Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3¶For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
NO WATER .

8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9Not of works, lest any man should boast.

No water .

and on and on and on and on ....

Christ says Baptism is water....

And then you say, "it only says baptism"

:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

IDK why you believe this false teaching, but it is sad to see that when Christ who is God says "Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God."

You discount it and say that because Paul did not specifically say water, he only says baptism?

When Christ explains it's both Water and Spirit just as He did....

Why have you convinced yourself of a false teaching? Did someone close to you die and was not baptized?

Baptism is a word that's used to explain something that is ' identified ' and or ' immersed ' into . The Spirit immerses into the body without water . We identify this by the ordinance of a ceremony which we call ' baptism ' . Sometimes cake is served and a bible is presented . Some give a testimony . lovely.

We cannot be saved without the Spirit baptising us into the body of Christ. We can be saved like the thief on the cross . Without getting wet and a ceremony.

He may say " well he couldn't so God let that one slide " lol 😆 God really means that all those that are able to be dipped in h2o will be saved, all others will be on a case by case basis 😉

What is the water that Christ talks about in John 3:5 if baptism is not water.

Secondly you assume 2 things, 1 the theif was not already saved, Jesus told the man he would be with Him in paradise, not that he just got saved.

2, even if the Thief got saved then and there, which you have 0 proof of, according to Christ He would have to have been baptized.
