They have the free will to resist or at least try to resist. As long as they are not insane.
The choice before someone in that condition is neither easy nor fun but free will remains.
You get hungry, the choice about when, where & what to eat remains. Even if finding food is difficult..

You keep talking about the physiology of the brain rather than the MIND.

The easiest analogy would be the justice system. You may choose to break the law, however you cannot pass a sentence on yourself. Only the judge may do that. And God is an omnipotent judge whom cannot have his verdict repealed.

Sam Harris discusses this in his book, Free Will
Harris argues that since we have no control over the electrical and chemical processes in our brains that produce thoughts, then Free Will is an illusion

Harris is not highly regarded in the field of neuroscience btw.

If they had free will they could decide whether or not to crave alcohol. Ask an alcoholic and they'd say 'I didn't ask for this' or 'I never wanted this' or 'This is not how I planned my life to be'.

You would have to quote scripture. Also bare in mind it is the word of claiming to be the word of God.

This is somewhat off topic, but Lewis' trilemma doesn't consider the fact that Jesus did not write the NT and as such what others say of Jesus is not necessarily a reflection of how Jesus was or what he said of himself.
