Me neither. Then again, I don't get out much:LOL::giggle:

Not to mention the fact that Coke/Coca-Cola just doesn't interest me LOL

FYI: Coca-Cola was named back in 1885 for its two “medicinal” ingredients: extract of coca leaves and kola nuts. Just how much cocaine was originally in the formulation is hard to determine, but the drink undeniably contained some cocaine in its early days. o_O:devilish::geek:
Well it was a cure for a hangover.

I have a small Town just South of me. About 8,000 people. They have pretty much anything a person could want though...... And a really small Town just North of me. About 200 people on Saturdays (shopping days). They have a few Stores, 2 gas stations and 2 restaurants that are open from time to time. :)

In between are miles of WOODS! Works for me. You know; when I moved here it was because I needed a place real quick, and I wasn't sure I wanted to move here. But, I felt God had opened the door to get this place, and it has only been since this Covid 19 thing has gone wild that I came to understand that God had a plan! My isolation in the country has put a shield of protection (His woodlands) all around me, and kept me away from all who have contracted the virus. Even when I do go to one of the Towns or the other to shop, I go at times I know are the slowest for them with Customers, and I ALWAYS wear my mask.

Funny how I know understand that GOD KNEW well before man did that this Covid thing was coming, and He had a plan to protect me. Why? Well, because of my aural aneurism IF I were to contract Covid, my VA Dr. said it would be a death sentence for me............

Thank you Lord, Thank you...........

I wanted a simpler life not as rushed and hectic. Our town has about 2,000 people and almost one of all the fast food places. We don't have Burger King but got McDonalds, I was excited to see Long John Silvers sea food and last one I noticed was Taco Bell... I'm good with small and simple. The town from one end to the other is about three miles or just shy of.

We have been out in the yard together raking leaves and I have started to cut down the overgrown bushes. Parts of the yard that needs a little love and attention. It is looking better already and I can't wait to start planting things in the spring. We get our new washer and dryer in about three days and we need it. Only boxes left in the utility area are things that need to go into the shed. So we have made progress in that room that was floor to ceiling full of boxes. The third bedroom is suffering now and looks like a messed up storage unit but much better than two full areas of boxes and such. So there has been a lot of progress made.

I feel that God wants us here for some reason and we will have to see what that is but I am happy to be settling in for now. I love small town living and can't wait to make some new friends. Did meet Betty from across the street as we share a mail box post that is in our yard. She says her husband's name is Harold. I was calling them Thelma Lou and Henry before I knew their real names and was happy that at least with the husband his name was in the H category...lol The things we do to amuse ourselves...

Darlene, in all the excitement and confusion of your move, I believe we neglected to extend birthday wishes to you and Jerry :(:censored:

Belated birthday greetings!!!

2020 was the most messed up holiday season we have ever shared together... In a hotel for Thanksgiving which we normally have a big meal with family and friend Dan, Christmas in a motel, my birthday in the motel and New Year's Day we didn't do anything special even though we finally made it into the house. So on Jerry's birthday Jan 9th we had a turkey and all the fixings to make up for missing all the big holidays.... The meal was good - turkey a tad dry but we ate all kinds of meals from it even made a turkey breakfast bake with eggs and vegies. So we made it through the rough part of this adventure of about 6 weeks being homeless and living without an address.

We are still waiting for the Post Office to release our mail that was being held in general delivery as none of that has been forwarded to us yet which should be quite a bit since it was 6 weeks worth... We think our stimulus check is in there somewhere...

So even though I am still busy everyday this is the better end to be on as in the unpacking and getting things set up stage. I am happy to be on this end of it for sure.

Meryl is such a wonderful actress :) Though I did recently start watching a movie with her in it, that I just could not continue. It was totally pushing the whole gay/transgender agenda. I used to not be bothered so much by such, but it has become too politicized :(
Hollywood for you.

Netflix is really big on the LGBT theme. I loved Designated Survivor but the last season was a advert for gay people :( sad really.

Well I informed the GIF people that you were using gifs that were not portraying my best self (lol) so I asked them to make your gifs dormant for a few days. Glad they received my email :p I have shares in the gif company.
