Sorry. I just tried to read some newsfeed about the next covid relief bill. Impeachment seems to be the hot topic now. They forgot needs and replaced it with vengeance. Typical Washington DC nonsense. We don't need to un-make him president any more but they just dropped what they started doing and replaced it with more time wasting diversionary tactics. He ain't gonna do a week in any Jail that we'd get sent to. I doubt if hell do a day in Camp Snoopy...
Congress can barely get anything done in a timely manor. Much less go after someone who's probley no more guilty than 2/3 of them. Watergate was a real, proven, conspiracy. Nixon was caught red handed on his own tape agreeing to borrow hush money from the Mob to keep E. Howard Hunt quiet. Tricky Dick caught himself. He never served a day under even house arrest. I wish they could get their priorities straight. If congress was an ER most patients would die before they decided what colored gloves to wear.
The truth is most of them are lawyers. Lawyers specialize in stalling for time. We should put them on commission. a days pay for a days completed work. If nothing gets done. They shouldn't get paid. I'd bet that most of them never worked for a living to begin with.
