Thank you so much!!! It was a tough road...but God was there with us every step of the way!! Praise the Lord!!
I can not imagine what it must be like to go through something like that , I mean the trauma of it all , only God can get us through that kind of thing...

My Mother died when I was 3 yrs of age , I have no memories of her whatsoever , she was 36 , and she died leaving me and my three elder sisters ...
But God has blessed me with children , and beautiful grandchildren , He gave me beauty out from the ashes , I am forever thankful to Him for that...

In the beginning my husband and I were fearful...and that was due to how we found out. After the test was completed and my husband was waking up...they told us point blank my husband had cancer and we had to get it removed within two weeks. Talk about a terrible bedside manner! And those people do that for a living..and they didn’t even have any recommendations for dr’s...just get it removed.

It took a co worker talking about hearing of a hospital nearby that specialized in treatments and them coming up with a plan for me to really pray and seek God in all of it. And when I did...I was fully leaning on Him and I thought my husband would be ok...and he made it through it all..except for a few things related to the surgery.

That’s so sad about your mom...but isn’t God so good that he’s blessed you with children and grandchildren!!! Praise the Lord that He works for our good to give us a hope and a future!

In our office 8/15 was tested positive for C-19 so far.

In December we lost 3 clients due to the virus but they were all diagnosed with other underlying health issues.

The virus is a reality and it is contagious (like any other flu) but I am still not convinced that we are receiving the correct information from WHO...
that's because Ching Chong is censoring the info it gives to the w.h.o ....

the thing is countries govts dont want to look bad or lose face with the actual stats.
its not just china. Many countries under report things to the WHO. It was likely a LOT worse than the officials wanted others to believe.

sadly, this doesnt help the other nations. But I would say before laying blame, tunderstand that its hard for everyone, and moreover, what would YOU do if you were in charge of a nation of a billion people?? Be thankful that you are not in that position!

each and every one of us is responsible for ourselves, but also, the people around us when we interact with them. What you do or dont do, makes a difference.

my sis has just got out of managed isolation. I went and picked her up on Tuesday. it was reported that at a different hotel, one staff broke the rules and saw someone when they were not supposed to.
2 people tested positive after completing isolation. They now have to go through EVERYONE they came in contact with, to get them tested too. To make sure they dont spread anything, or get sick and die.

folks, either you take it serious or you just dont care.

The Love that God pours into our new hearts as born again Christians , is nothing like the love of the world ...

The love of the world is fickle , you can love someone in the morning , and if they offend you , that love can turn to hate in a moment...

Gods Love is pure , as pure as the Lamb of God , who shed His blood...

1 John 4:19
We love, because He first loved us.

The Christian shouldn’t mourn another Christian..however, mourning those who die without Jesus I can see being justified...they are lost forever.

‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭4:13-14‬ ‭
But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus.

Revelation‬ ‭21:4‬ ‭
And He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.
‭‭
When Lazarus died Jesus wept.

And those tears that are going to be wiped away, were there because when we lose people we love, it hurts and we suffer loss because death is a sorrowful thing.

The Bible doesn’t say to only mourn over unbelievers. Grief is a valid reality, and we should have compassion.

Putting yourself in danger by not taking precautions is hardly commended by God.
Agreed.

It's rather odd that in years past Christian civilization led the way for humanity to enjoy the benefits of those things God gave us to better our lives. One of those things was the medical arts - vaccines.

Today the church has debauched itself and become nothing less than a nest of weak minded Biblically illiterate morons. It's a laughing stock for the world - an example of sexual immorality, logical foolishness and spiritual bankruptcy (1 Samuel 4:21).

The spirit has departed from the church because the church has turned its back upon the precepts and LAW of God for far too long.

What shall be done to salt when it has lost its saltiness? It shall be thrown out and trampled under foot. - Matthew 5:13

Don't believe me? Read the newspaper. Watch evening news. The church was once a deeply respected part of society. Today it's a joke, an ally of wickedness and a despot to its own members. The church has been spiritually rejected and is even now being trampled under foot of a society that respects it not.

This all began with a discussion about COVID - proven by medical science to be deadly. Nearly a half million Americans have already died from the disease and what to Christians do about it?

They mock evidence of death all around us.

Fools they are and fools that are playing games with their lives. Such fools may die from their own self-deceit.

Don't be one of them.

Follow the restrictions put in place for our health. I don't like it any more than you all, but I do it. Get the vaccine. I did.
It didn't bother me a bit. I didn't even have to pay for it.

Stupidity isn't a virtue. Follow the restrictions. Get the vaccine as soon as practicable.

that's me, hollering from the choir loft...

Ok. I don’t know a close believer that has died..so I can’t say it isn’t true. However...we don’t have to mourn like those with no hope...which is key.

I agree we found out today we lost a member of my family from C-19. He was 44,in good health but this is not something to catch over and over like you get an immunity to it.

A vaccine is a form of herd immunity
Yes it is... artificial but does provide it.

The article you quoted that I provided demonstrates that natural immunity doesn't work and a strong vaccine is needed.

I realise that this posting is a few months old but I'm wondering whether VickyK and others who share the views that Corona virus is nothing to worry about or that it doesn't exist at all still hold to their beliefs considering the situations in India, Brazil and other places around the world including the US

We are going to a service of one of our close friends who lost her life to Covid. It is sad but we knew she had other serious health issues and Covid was the final nail in the coffin (so to speak). She told my wife earlier this year what to do if she died and we suspect she had a feeling something bad was about to happen because of all of her illnesses.

I still believe we are being fed muddy water about the Covid information and statistics. What is happening in India and all these places is a tragedy but the governments are trying to create a massive fear situation and that is what is happening all over the world.

If you feel like taking the Covid vaccine, do it, but I will not take it..........

If you are in good health Covid is not something to fear and if you are a Christian then you know where your strength should come from.
