You go and worship with Christ deniers and see where it gets you.
As for me if you do not know Christ you have no truth.
Good luck you will need it. Because God isn't going to bless it. He allowed the temple to be utterly destroyed. Now they transgress the law, and deny the sacrifice of Christ.
I didn't post this for "what it gets you" but I was interested in what people think the Lord tells us about what we should think and do about the differences between us and the Jews.

Scripture tells us the Lord will bless those who bless them and him who curses you I will curse. IN Romans 9:4-5 Paul states there are advantages to being a Jew.

They [Broke] Bread together. 20 men tearing off a piece of bread and passing the rest to the next man.
No wearing gloves. They broke bread together. They were Brothers/Sisters/Family.
Surely they sanitized their hands first?

IN Romans 9:4-5 Paul states there are advantages to being a Jew.
He also says in the same chapter:

1-4a I speak the truth in Christ—I am not lying, my conscience confirms it
through the Holy Spirit— I have great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my
heart. For I could wish that I myself were cursed and cut off from Christ
for the sake of my people, those of my own race, the people of Israel.

27 Isaiah cries out concerning Israel:

“Though the number of the Israelites be like the sand by the sea,
only the remnant will be saved.

28 For the Lord will carry out
his sentence on earth with speed and finality.”

29 It is just as Isaiah said previously:

“Unless the Lord Almighty
had left us descendants,
we would have become like Sodom,
we would have been like Gomorrah.”

30 What then shall we say? That the Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness,
have obtained it, a righteousness that is by faith;
31 but the people of Israel,
who pursued the law as the way of righteousness, have not attained their goal.

32 Why not? Because they pursued it not by faith but as if it were by works.
They stumbled over the stumbling stone.
33 As it is written:

“See, I lay in Zion a stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes
them fall, and the one who believes in him will never be put to shame.”

“He who slaughters an ox is like one who kills a man; he who sacrifices a lamb, like one who breaks a dog’s neck; he who presents a grain offering, like one who offers pig’s blood; he who makes a memorial offering of frankincense, like one who blesses an idol. These have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations; I also will choose harsh treatment for them and bring their fears upon them, because when I called, no one answered, when I spoke, they did not listen; but they did what was evil in my eyes and chose that in which I did not delight.”

Should we celebrate the ways we are the same as the Jews, or should we let their rejection of Christ cause enmity between us?
This question does not even require an answer. Those who reject Christ are enemies of Christ and Christians. Only unbelieving Jews attend synagogues.

Paul did go to synagogue,

people there had knowledge of the OT. Those who converted would be immediately able to teach others

but when people converted, they left them and started churches.

paul, also spent a lot of time calling out those Jews who tried to continue in he law.

Do you think those passages in Isaiah is the Lord condemning his commandments in the old testament to give blood for the remission of sin? Do you think the Lord cancelled his commandments to bless the Jews for being caretakers of the word? How about Pau's words about the Jews? To me it is a frightening thought to go against the word of the lord.

[QUOTE="throughfaith, post: 4481914, member: 300037"Is it an essential visit ? lol 😆 covid rules.[/QUOTE]Going to synagogue is something I would not choose to do, I check the doctrines of the church I go to. But I don't think the attitude towards the Jews that I see expressed here is what scripture teaches. I think anyone who is serious about learning the ways of the Lord and wants to follow in His footsteps would look closer to what scripture tells us.

God never commanded us worship with Jews in synagogue. That was an invention of pharisees.
Jesus told the woman at the well that there was coming a te when those who worship God will worship on spirit and in truth, not in mountains or temples.

Their not going to bite you I went to the synagogue in Webster Texas several times in my 30's(nice people). It wont be what you think though for instance they wont try to convert you because to them if you were not born a Jew then they cant convert you to another race. So to them just the opposite when people try to covert them they see it like your trying to convert them to another race.

I agree. God does not command us to go to synagogue, and I'll bet that if we think it would be a sin for us to go, it would be considered a sin.

What I do not agree with is saying we know it is a fact that God has condemned them to death if they do not acknowledge Christ. All we know is that God blinded their eyes to Christ for our sakes, so when they ask for forgiveness they go directly to the Father. That is their prayer. They cannot go to Christ because the Lord blinded their eyes to Christ. Even Paul, who God spoke to directly, was not given the information about whether God answers that prayer they have with a yes or with a no. Perhaps the Lord allows their blindness to cause their death, but I think there is a possibility that, because God caused that blindness, that the Lord answers their prayer to Him with a yes. But we are told that decision is the Lord's to make and we are not to decide on it for the Lord. We are not the judge, the Lord is. Our place, our instructions, are only to bless them. When we go further, we are the enemies of the Lord.

That's precisely what is written in Hebrews, "the no longer remains a sacrifice". Jesus is salvation. If you deny him your in big danger.

Most of the Jewish communities I have met in America welcome Christians to see, watch, and even take part in various positions of services like Seders.
It's not like they expect us to deny Christ nor should we expect them to accept Jesus.
Many have studied and even know all about the apostle Paul.
(They even like him)

Christianity is a sect of Judaism...
Just saying.

Did you actually read my post saying why I think there is a possibility God answers their prayer for forgiveness of their sins, or do you decide for the Lord whether He should answer their prayer?

I know many scriptures telling us we have no right to judge others, and a scripture telling us that only God decides. But no scripture saying we can know God's answer to another's prayer. If you find this, please share.

I only have what the scriptures say. I don't deviate from that. If you want to, well that's up to you. I quoted scripture, and you say I judge, if quoting scripture to you is me judging well so be it. That's your problem with scripture. Have a nice day, there is no need to refute what I just said because I know that's what you will do. We disagree totally. We can part ways on peace. Thank you good bye.

The first Christians had no wish to break with Judaism, they worshipped the Lord together with the Jews in synagogue. They also met together in their homes to celebrate the Lord's Supper.

They would have been shocked at the idea that they should not go to worship God in synagogue. They would also have been shocked if they were told to celebrate the Lord’s Supper as we do, sitting sedately in our seats and taking a waver and small cup of wine. They ate a meal together, and shared love of Christ and each other.

Does anyone know when or why this stopped? Was it wrong? Is our worship services today an improvement? Should we celebrate the ways we are the same as the Jews, or should we let their rejection of Christ cause enmity between us? Are we worshipping the Father as we worship Christ?
why would it be wrong, to go to a synagogue ?

So... what's the point? We know what they believe, they know what we believe. It's two very different things so we have no animus, but we have no fellowship. So why bother?

Uh, The Jews did not worship Christ the Lord with Christians.
