I think the verse about turning the other cheek is focused on the relationship between two or a few number of people, not about injustice inflicted by a system. I think it just means forgive the other person.
What will you do if you see soldiers abusing your neighbors? Will you step in or do you believe in passivity?

Paul states to the body of Christ, "If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men."

Try your best to turn the other cheek, but sometimes it's not possible because the other party does not want peace. In this case, self defense is an option.
What if you were told to hand over your guns - would you? I'm asking this because we may likely face this. Sooner rather than later.

Whites have been in their crosshairs for a long time. Too long of a conversation to get into here but the end goal is population replacement. White protestants don't generally vote the way NWO want them to. The only way to get rid of them is gradually replace their demographic and ideology using disinformation.

What do you think the "great falling away" or "great rebellion" of the church is? I theorize that anti-Christian sentiment will reach a critical mass before the end. We're not really there yet.
You know your stuff. Yes the anti-white theme has been going on for awhile but is getting worse. They are also trying to foment a race war which is very very sad. We have no race problems where we live and the thought sickens me that they're trying to gin up hatred between the races. But yes, I've heard about the population dilution/ replacement. Henry Makow also did a lot of research on how women were "re-engineered" to have high-powered careers. It's very sad because I was reading that some of the most miserable people are women who bought into that and never had children.

The church has been infiltrated and it's pretty obvious to those with discernment who the apostate ones are. I too believe that it's going to get bad for Christians although things have been pretty bad for me for a long time - I've had my share of battles. I am disappointed at being here during this period in time. I wish we could go back to the 50's. These just are not good times. We're under attack from every side.

Really good question, thanks for bringing this up it's crossed my mind lately for the same reasons you've mentioned. I'm no expert on the topic, haven't prayed or studied extensively so the following statement is not a hill I'm willing to fight and die on...lol

I would say the obvious instance of serious physical danger to you, your family, your brethren and the weak who cannot protect themselves would seem a biblical time to fight.

War time. If you're a soldier you fight, you kill, you die, that's what soldiers do.

Other than that I'm not sure.
I was reading through a historical account of various countries that fell to brutal tyranny, and in every instance the people were disarmed first. I was never a gun person but just this year I understood why so many people believed in the right to keep and bear arms.

Martial law is likely a certainty. That's what this has all been a pretext for from what I've read. When martial law is called the people are automatically disarmed.

What they generally do is not give you advance notice: likely you'll wake up at 4:00 a.m. to soldiers knocking at or knocking down your door. They'll demand your weapons.

Will you hand them over or fight?

This is a critical time because any mistake you make at this juncture you may not recover from.

Once you hand your gun/s over to the soldiers - be they American or Foreign troops which they might use - it's over. You have nothing with which to defend yourself. You'll be forced into a van and sent to one of the FEMA camps that have been prepared around the country.

So I think it's something each person has to think through. If you knew that you would be at another's mercy if you were disarmed - are you prepared to die fighting to keep your arms?

I realize these are tough questions but I think we need to hammer out our beliefs before it gets much later. It may be hard to reconcile Christ's teachings with the use of deadly force but I think it's necessary that we do it.

I was reading through comments beneath an article and someone posited how things were going to turn out with Christians trained to turn the other cheek against a bloodthirsty enemy.

I don't see any times in Scripture though, where people were told to fight back. The only one I know of is David who fought Goliath. There were of course instances in the Old Testament where Israel had to fight enemies. But it seems to me that the Bible seems quiet on what to do when faced with someone who wants to destroy you. It almost seems that Christians are at a distinct advantage because of the pacifist undertones of the New Testament.

It's interesting to know how others interpret this.
You need to RE-read my Post, especially Henry's Commentary. If you are looking for Biblical insight, look to the Commentaries, or, accept what you read here.......

When I was at a Bible study someone brought up the ugliness that was coming, and the pastor shrugged and smiled and said we would be raptured out.

What if we're not?

I was reading the NWO cards and one of them was martial law. They're usually accurate since the developer of the game is likely an occultist.

It made me wonder how most Christians would react when the army knocked at your door and demanded your weapons. What are you going to do? I think this is something that we may all want to think about - in advance.

The problem your Pastor has is: The UGLINESS is here now! Every day Christians are persecuted, tortured and murdered. Even here in the USA, there are those who persecute Christians daily. Our Federal, State and Local Governments, our Public School Educators from Kindergarten to those who achieve their Doctorate. Hollywood (Movies and TV), and the Music Industry in general work to persecute Christians and our Faith through belittling, berating, and outright laughing at us. While these clearly do not rise to the level of using "force" to defeat them, they ARE THE UGLINESS!

What makes you thing people are not thinking of what they will do if the Government comes to take away their weapons?

God put you in a certain place at a certain time. You've got a mission to accomplish. A mission from Him. There is no room for being despondent or down. The bad stuff you're going through will end at some point. In this life or in the afterlife. And when it ends, then, if you've run the race like you were meant to do, then I'm confident that you'll look back and say it was all worthwhile. In the meantime, I'll say a prayer for you. A prayer of strength and encouragement.

Now about the gun issue...
I've been a gun guy for a loooong time. My advise is this - don't worry so much about them coming to take you guns. Instead, focus on the fact that they are robbing people of the will to use those guns. The gun is just a tool. The heart, mind, and soul is what they're after. They won't come for the tools until they're confident that the spirit of the people has been extinguished.

So fan that flame, Saintrose! In yourself and in everyone you meet!

Unsure what that is?
It's a part of a soldier's job to kill. When he is off duty he is expected to obey the law just as everyone else does.
A time for everything & everything in it's time.
Jesus didn't want his community of followers going after people in a vengeful fashion.
I don't think he meant for us to throw our children to killers though. Just to prove we are peaceful we are.

I seem to recall Jesus making a whip.......so, when the hired shepherds lead God’s flock astray into idol or excuses of worship and make merchandise of God’s people..... in those cases, Jesus DID NOT turn the other cheek.:love:(y)

There is something about worship that is very scared and holy to God and if anyone interferes with His people worshiping Him in spirit and in truth, it ignites the fire of His jealousy....

I agree there is persecution now. I think Satan is driving people (the spirit now at work in the disobedient) to harass believers. I don't care to recount what I've endured the last years but I know some of what persecution is.

I didn't think people were thinking about it because of the people that I've dealt with - they aren't talking about it. My one friend was dismissive of me and would act superior because I guess she thought her faith was stronger and she wasn't concerned about things like I was. My other friend is completely clueless. And at bible study they had the attitude that we didn't have to worry because we would be raptured out. I think they're in some kind of warm and fuzzy world that doesn't exist.

What do you mean they're robbing people of the will to use those guns? I do see a systematic breaking down of people - and trying to scare them out of their wits using the media.

I think it IS an issue we have to think about - in ADVANCE because there will be no warning - they will show up at your door - likely on an occult holiday - and demand your guns. You should know in advance what you're going to do.

That's a good point. So what would you do? I just find this type of lackadaisical thinking when this can happen at any time.

I think people should think things out in advance of what their beliefs are regarding this.

You're right. I'm not disputing that. They eventually will take everyone's guns. And it is certainly something to think about.

But what I'm talking about is just a bit more insidious....
Did you ever watch any of those video's where the islamofreaks have a prsioner blindfolded and kneeling in front of them, and then they proceed to cut off his head? The prisoner doesn't really do anything. Or I'm sure you've heard of people being forced to dig their own graves and then they line up obediently so that a soldier can put a gun to the back of their head and execute them conveniently? Why does this happen? It's because these people have been stripped of the will to live. Stripped of the spirit of freedom.

How did that happen? How do you rob someone of the will to live? Answer: Incrementally.
Let's back up a bit...
9/11 happened. Government instituted TSA. TSA imposed a bunch of "security" checks on passengers. Everyone with a brain knows that those checks are not to catch terrorists. Everyone with a brain knows that those checks are there to condition people to submit. And in that submission, the spirit of man is broken down. This is because you're submitting to something dehumanizing for what you know to be a lie.

Corona masks are the same thing. We know that they don't do anything for the "virus", but they are a sign of fealty. They coerce us into wearing them. Why? Because, like the TSA groping, when you submit to what you know to be a lie, then you lose some of your spirit. You lose some of your drive.

There's a host of these types of things I could point to. But suffice it to say that they all serve to rob you of the spirit of freedom, the spirit to live free. That's what I'm talking about. Before they take our guns, they'll want to complete their goal of stripping the people of their spirit. And when people give up their guns, it won't be the guns that will be the most valuable things that they're giving up that day. That will basically be the final act of surrender for the beaten mind.

That's what I'm trying to get you to guard against. Exercise that spirit! Kindle that fire. Breathe life into it within yourself and others!

Be careful be very careful in what you see to believe.

Satan has disguise his intent as racism, feminism, gender identity, entitlement.

A disease is not known only by it's symptoms. Symptoms are treated and if relieved one may think they are cured.
But the disease remains and grows.
A new world order is man's pursuit. A order in which man is in charge of his destiny.
Hearts have waxed cold, minds have been polluted, family's have been broken, God has been replaced.
Stand steadfast in your faith, fasting and prayer are the weapons of the righteous.
The sword of truth will have it's way. God's grace is only given to the humble. The proud will fall.

There are many that join the cause not knowing what it is but only to cause destruction and chaos.
These are the ones that we have a right to defend ourselves against.
But when it comes to whom we will serve......may the Holy Spirit be upon us.

The moment I can see [intent] in someone's eyes means trouble. From then on, it's attentive reaction to perceived action. Rules of Engagement have left the building at this point.
