The Church
Brothers and Sisters,
I being a sinner, know that I am worthy of only one thing, death. The law is plain to state this, Jesus echoed the wages of sin are death. If the law were not applicable then why would Christ say this? If I have earned death. Then how great is the gift of salvation from the perfect one? Should I then go and ask the perfect one for more? His work isn’t enough or efficient? Or should I be eternally grateful with a new heart and say thank you for what you have done, how can I ever repay such a great thing? Or should I say, now that you have done this great work for me Lord that I could never do, can I have more things in this world please that my flesh desires?
Jesus taught on this, about being worldly from Matthew 6:19 to 33. He ends the teachings with seek first the Kingdom of heaven then all of this will be added to you. Jesus was teaching them to wean and let go of this world and your flesh and find the Kingdom. Then when you find it, the Holy Spirit will open your eyes to see and keep the world in its proper perspective/place. Then God will give you what you ask for because you will not longer be of this world.
A major “Christian Church” perspective today flips that upside down and inside out saying add Christ to your life that you are living in this world so you can have more of the world with just a little of Christ, maybe every man sabbath Sunday pending my personal busy schedule.
Are we not called to be in the world but not part of it? Did Jesus say love and seek the riches of this world? Separate yourself from the sinner, or the sin? Or did he say, if anyone would come after me, they must DENY themselves and pick up their cross.
Moreover, man searches man and says if there are any sinners you cannot come into the church, if you continue to sin, because it will make the church fowl by it. Religion and their white washed tombs. You blind guides, you build a building and gather and call it holy yet lack and understanding of what Holy is. The temple was not Holy without the Spirit of God. Nor is the church Holy because man is in it. Man is Holy because God is in him. Man cannot fowl what is not His. The true Church is God the Fathers and His Son the Jesus which is the Christ.
Remember this those that follow that way. You walk around daily with friends and family. Being accepting of all their fowl ways and saying nothing. Walking along with them and eating with them in the world. Yet when it come to a man made building and man made rules. That is where you want to separate yourself from sin and sinners? That is when it is time to take a bath and dress the part? It is only to appear Holy before man, because this shows your lack of knowing God and being Holy from within and by Him alone.
Fix the heart by seeking God while you still can, do as a Christ commanded.
