How about this, folks? Let's summarize the events of the book of Ezekiel, in reverse, starting from Ezekiel's grand temple. Sometimes looking at things from another angle gives a new perspective.

Ezekiel Chapters in reverse...

47: A River Flows from the Temple.

- Clearly, this is the SAME river of life flowing from the throne as described in Revelation 22:1.
- Based on Revelation, chapter 22 occurs after the "new heavens and the new earth" is made and after New Jerusalem descends.
- So this is the very end of the prophecy.

40-46: Temple Restored, Israel & Priesthood Restored, God's Glory enters the temple.

- This event must be New Jerusalem descending from heaven (with the new heaven and earth) after the old passes away (Rev 21:1)
- So the old heaven and earth must pass away just before these Ezekiel chapters
- Peter describes this "passing away" will be with fierce heat (2 Peter 3:10-18)

38-39: Gog of Magog invades regathered Israel who's living in peace in their land, but Almighty destroys Gog with fire

- Chapter 38v8 says "after many days" of Israel living in peace, after being regathered from nations, this invasion occurs...
- The Almighty will send burning sulfur, hail, rain, disease, and internal warring to destroy them.
- Chapter 39 says all of the nations will witness the punishment upon Gog & Magog as Almighty's Glory.
- It will take Israel 7 months to clean up the bodies from the land, but the nations will see Israel as holy after that.
- Revelation 20 explains "after the thousand years are complete" satan gathers Gog and Magog army...
- But "fire came down from heaven to consume them", and satan is cast into the lake of fire, followed by anyone not in the book of life

----

As I cut in here, we can see that when we sync the river of life at the end of Revelation with the river flowing from Ezekiel's temple and follow chapters in reverse, every major event described in both books matches, like puzzle pieces.

And as we continue backward, we can sync the next major event...

----

37: The Son of Man raises the valley of dry bones into the kingdom of Israel

- The whole house of Israel is raised to life and gathered from the nations (verse 21); both houses are joined under one king
- The Almighty makes a covenant of peace with restored; Ex 37:26
- Revelation 20 explains that those who were martyred for their testimony are raised to life
- They are given thrones to rule for 1000 years, while satan is imprisoned (i.e. there's a time of peace)
- So Ezekiel 37 is the long-awaited resurrection of the dead in Christ and regathering of all faithful, spoken of by Paul

35-36: Almighty promises destruction for Edom and restoration for scattered Israel

- In chapter 35, Esau/Edom claims the land and property of Israel as theirs but is cursed with constant warring
- The book of Obadiah explains that their destruction will be because of betrayal from the nations and fire from Israel
- Meanwhile, in chapter 36 scattered Israel is mocked but the Almighty says they will be vindicated and returned to their land
- Revelation 19 details the marriage supper, the Messiah descending, and then destroying the beast & false prophet with fire
- So Esau/Edom is destroyed before scattered Israel is returned to the land.

----TL; DR----

So to summarize Ezekiel's events in their proper order:

1) Edom claims Israel's land and property while the nations mock and mistreat scattered Israel

2) Messiah comes, raises the dead, and regathers Israel; destroys Edom with fire, and reclaims possession of the land

3) There is a time of peace for "many days"...this is the millennium reign.

4) Gog & Magog's massive army gathers to invade Israel while they're living in peace

5) The Almighty destroys Gog & Magog army with fire

6) The temple is restored and the Almighty's Glory enters into it

7) The river of life flows from the temple

Notice they match Revelation's events in their order:

1) Beast of the earth (false prophet) contrasted with the 144,000, then a warning of dying in Christ

2) Messiah comes, raises the dead, and regathers Israel; destroys Beast & false prophet with fire

3) The millennium reign is mentioned where martyrs are given thrones and satan is imprisoned

4) Gog & Magog's massive army gathers against the saints

5) The Almighty destroys Gog & Magog army with fire

6) New heaven & new earth is mentioned descending

7) The river of life flows from the throne

Ezekiel chapter 40-46 is the Zerubbabel 2nd temple completed in 536BC and destroyed by the Roman's in 70AD

Ezekiel chapters 47-48 is the Eternal New Jerusalem, in the New Heaven and Earth

There is one war seen in parallel teachings, the book of Revelation is seen in parallel teachings of same events, not chronological as many falsely teach.
"[...] the book of Revelation is seen in parallel teachings of same events, not chronological [...]"

Only if one completely disregards all of the timing clues that that Book so abundantly provides within it (which the "Amill-teachings" are notorious for disregarding these... and ppl I've talked with over the years, holding that perspective, are utterly bored by the prospect of studying such issues).

Revelation 21:1 -
"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea."

How do you reconcile this ^ with your saying that Ezek47-48 are about the NHNE (the way you are defining it, anyway), when at least 9x these two chpts make reference to "the sea / the great sea":

--Ezek47:8 [2x] "into the sea" ; "brought forth into the sea"

--Ezek47:10 "the great sea"

--Ezek47:15 "from the great sea"

--Ezek47:17 "from the sea"

--Ezek47:18 "unto the east sea"

--Ezek47:19 "to the great sea"

--Ezek47:20 "the great sea"

--Ezek48:28 "toward the great sea"

[not to mention, Ezek47:22 saying, "and to the strangers which shall sojourn among you, which shall beget children among you..." ... which also sounds rather "earthly-located" to me]

As is "Clearly Seen" Ezekiel 47:12 & Revelation 22:1-2 is exactly the same place, the eternal New Jerusalem, in the New Heaven, Earth (Fact)

Same river and tree of life, same leaves of the tree for healing/medicine, same fruit for meat/food

Ezekiel 47:12KJV
12 And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.

Revelation 22:1-2KJV
1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

Read Rev 20 and do a study on this with an open mind.

The book Rev is not chronological. It repeats things and shows the same events from different points.

Rev 20 shows plainly that.....

Satan is bond for the 1000 years, and does not tempt the nations for that time. verse 2,3.

The saints rain with Christ for the 1000 years. The rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. The first resurrection is at the start of the 1000 years. verse 4, 5, 6.

"when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison" "and after that he must be loosed a little season." verse 7 and 3. The second resurrection takes place.

Judgement ...."and there was found no place for them" . "And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; .... and the dead were judged" . "And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works." verses 11, 12, 13

"when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison" "and after that he must be loosed a little season." verse 7 and 3. The second resurrection takes place.

And they (The wicked that Satan can now tempt) went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: verse 9.

"And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." verse 14,15
All wicked including Satan are destroyed. "and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them." verse 9

Jesus will rain on the Earth but not until the wicked are destroyed at the end of the 1000 years.
By fire the Earth will be cleansed of all sin and death shall be no more, we will inherit the new earth not the wicked one.

the rest of the bible fits perfectly with the above time line. The holy city which is in Heaven now which has the throne of God in it, is the key to understanding this.

Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
(The sea gave up the dead at the end of the 1000 years.) (They pass away at the end of the 1000 years).
Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Rev 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Rev 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

Perhaps you can help me find the things claimed by those teaching a Literal 1,000 year Millennial Kingdom On This Earth in Revelation 20:1-6 below?

1.) Physical Earthly Kingdom?
2.) Physical Earthly Throne?
3.) Physical Mortal Humans?

The Above Claims (Don't Exist), A 1,000 Year Millennial Kingdom On This Earth, Is A Man Made Fairy Tale (Fact)

Revelation 20:1-6 Is 100% In The Lords (Spiritual) Angel, Heaven, Devil, Satan, The Souls, The Dead, God, Christ?

100% Spiritual Realm, No "Literal" Time (Fact)

2 Peter 3:8KJV
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Revelation 20:1-6KJV
1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

the Holy City .... New Jerusalem. Where is it Today?.

Rev 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.
Rev 22:1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
Rev 22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
Rev 22:3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:

Not on Earth today, and it is not built but man. It must be In heaven! does it come to the Earth at the start or the end of the 1000 years.

Where will the 1,000 year reign be?
The 1,000 years isnt "Literal" earthly time, as 2 Peter 3:8 shows below, those seen in Rev 20:1-6 are seen in the Lords spiritual taking place now, and this will end at the second coming, immediately after the tribulation.

If a person dies one day before the second coming, they enter this "Non-Literal" 1,000 year reign in the Lords "Spiritual"

One day is a thousand, "Not Literal" earthly time, (Eternal)

2 Peter 3;8KJV
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Not on Earth today, and it is not built but man. It must be In heaven! does it come to the Earth at the start or the end of the 1000 years.

Neither. It comes after John saw the start of the NHNE in Revelation 21.

the Holy City ....

Joh 16:10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
Revelation 21:1-2KJV
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

There wont be a 1,000 year Millennial Kingdom on this earth, Jesus Christ will return in fire and Final judgement, dissolving the heavens and earth by fire.

2 Thessalonians 7:8KJV
7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God,
and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

"Destroyed Them All" At His Revealing (Fact)

Luke 17:29-30KJV
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

At His Presence, The World Is Burned, And "All" That Dwell Therein (Fact)

Nahum 1:5KJV
5 The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.

2 Peter 3:10KJV
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
Yes i agree
When Jesus comes in all His Glory (second coming) the earth and those not saved will be consumed.
but the second resurrection and the final judgement is at the end of the 1000 years.

Not all the unsaved perish at the second coming. The entire purpose of the thousand years is to rule the unsaved nations and keep Satan from them. When Satan is freed, he goes after them again.

the Heaven referred to in the "New Heaven and New Earth" is not the Heaven that God's throne dwells in.

ouranos is the Greek for heaven, which means the sky, the air, In their day they didn't know what was beyond the heavens above.

Please show me in the bible. It sounds great, but is it just a second chance theory?

Satan can't tempt them because they are dead, The second resurrection allows Satan to tempt them for a short time before the final judgement is given. The saved will know why all the unsaved are destroyed because the books are open, God's judgement is open for the saved to understand and see that it is just.

As I have posted, there isnt a literal 1,000 year reign on earth "After" the second coming in fire and final judgement this is (The End)

Perhaps you can read my view on the Non-Literal 1,000 years below, that is taking place now, and will end at the second coming in fire
