I disagree, Is 2:6-22 is about the Lord second coming in judgement in wrath, (The Day Of The Lord)

Men run into the rock's, caves, for fear of the second coming, and man's breath is taken from his nostrils (The End)

20 In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;
21 To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.
22 Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of ?
We go the house of the Lord and learn his ways because God shook the earth by the resurrection of his Son. The "day of the Lord" is a long time by human standards.

But compare Rev.6:16. They said this because when calamity comes, unbelievers have nowhere else to turn. Their idol can't help them. In essence, they try to run from God. Not because they actually believe in him.

People who don't know the Lord aren't aware of the return of Christ. See Lk.17:26-30

2 Peter 3:10KJV

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Thanks for the response :)

No dancing whatsoever, we will take it (Real Slow)

Rev 20:4 John Saw (The Souls),they are tribulation saints, they didn't worship the beast or receive the mark (Fact)

(They Lived And Reigned With Christ, 1,000 Years)

Rev 20:5 "IMPORTANT INTERPRETATION"

(The Rest Of The Dead)?

As I have said again and again, all those represented in Rev 20:4-6 are (Dead) waiting for the (Future) first resurrection

You stated I add the word (Future)?

Yes I added (Future) because there us one (Future) resurrection of "All" on the "Last Day"

Revelation 20:4-6KJV
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
With respect, you are not reading the passage correctly. The 1st sentence in Verse 5 is a parenthetical statement that NOT talking about the souls beheaded. We know this because verse 6 summarized exactly what the 1st resurrection is all about.

6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they [but who? The subject of the sentence: "He that hath part in the first resurrection"] shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years

He that has a part in the 1st resurrection...shall be priests...and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

Shall be

Shall reign a thousand years.

These are future tenses not past tense. The thousand-year reign occurs AFTER the 1st resurrection.

Hosea 5:14-6:3 -

14 For I am like a lion to Ephraim

and like a young lion to the house of Judah.

I, even I, will tear them to pieces

and then go away.

I will carry them off

where no one can rescue them.

15 Then I will return to My place

until they admit their guilt and seek My face;

in their affliction they will earnestly [/early] seek Me.”

1 Come, let us [Israel] return to the LORD.

For He has torn us [Israel] to pieces,

but He will heal us [Israel];

He has wounded us [Israel],

but He will bind up our [Israel's] wounds.

2 After two days He will revive us [Israel];

in the third day He will raise us [Israel] up,

that we [Israel] may live in His presence.

3 So let us [Israel] know—

let us [Israel] press on to know the LORD.

As surely as the sun rises,

He will appear;

He will come to us [Israel] like the rain,

like the spring showers that water the earth [/unto the earth].

["after two days" and "in the third day" are not speaking of "24-hr days"... and the latter of these two phrases, "IN the third day," corresponds with "IN the last day" phrases Jesus spoke of--also not referring merely to "a singular 24-hr day"]

____________

Isaiah 24:21-23 -

23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.

Your 2nd step has been happening for over 2000 years,

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Mt,28:19-20
With respect, it hasn't just yet.

John 10:16
I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them in as well, and they will listen to My voice. Then there will be one flock and one shepherd.

^ This is what's been happening for 2000 years in fulfillment of Matthew 28:19-20. The Messiah has been gathering His sheep from other (gentile) folds into one flock to reestablish His kingdom on earth ("thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth..."). Those of the gentiles who hear His voice are these sheep. Romans 11 explains this; this is time for the fullness of the gentiles to come into the fold.

Once the full number comes in the rest of the plan for "full" Israel (Jew & Gentile) continues with the resurrection/transformation & gathering. The apostles didn't understand this at first...

Acts 1:6-8
When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? 7 Jesus replied, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by His own authority. 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth

The Almighty took the Levites as His portion from among the tribes of Israel to be His priests TO those tribes. So likewise, the Messiah gathers His portion from among the nations of the world to be His priests TO those nations. The gathering of the priests comes first. They will not truly minister to the nations until the following occurs within all of Israel (Jew & Gentile)...

Jeremiah 31:33-34
33 “But this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the LORD. I will put My law in their minds and inscribe it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they will be My people.

34 No longer will each man teach his neighbor or his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquities and will remember their sins no more.”

^Proof: There will no longer be necessary schools of bible teachers or a multitude of denominations or interpretations to contend with, and deception will be prevented (because satan will be bound). All of Israel will know the Almighty, through and through, perfectly, in order to teach others. This event hasn't happened yet because Israel hasn't be reassembled, as is prophesied here...

Ezekiel 37:13-14
13 And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves, And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the Lord have spoken it, and performed it, saith the Lord.

^The 1st resurrection/transformation event must happen first, followed by the regathering of true, complete, Israel (Jew & Gentile) back to the land...

Ezekiel 37:21
21 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:

Well that's why God sent his Son to the world and people will be destroyed because they rejected the gospel,

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Mk.16:15-16
^This passage is completely true...but it was said prior to satan falling. As Revelation 12 explains, when the Son ascended to the throne in heaven (which already happened in Acts 1; 1st century), war broke out, and then satan fell having great wrath knowing his time is short.

And now today, with over 2000 differing denominations claiming to have a pure truth, chasing 2000 years of deadly persecution by the Catholic church (as so-called representatives of God), sprinkled with a profuse amount of mistranslation - all of this confusion the result of satan - how can a person be sure the gospel of Christ is the truth these days? satan deceives the whole world.

This is why he must be imprisoned first so that pure truth can be preached without leaven. Those who DO hear the truth now do so because they specifically are CALLED to be priests. Until all priests are called and transformed/resurrected, the world is left to its own devices by God Himself. This is still step 1.

Romans 2:18-21 [brackets mine]
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. [i.e. the transformation]

19 For the earnest expectation of the creature [i.e. the creation; the earth] waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

20 For the creature [i.e. the creation; the earth] was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,

21 Because the creature [i.e. the creation; the earth] itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

^When they manifest (upon transformation into Glory), the children of the living God will deliver the world from its bondage to corruption. His first step is to manifest them, which - again - is the transformation/resurrection event. Notice Paul is preaching this so he more than anyone would know. Each achieves life in their own order: Christ, the firstfruits, then those at His coming, then the end when the world is delivered...1 Corinthians 15:23. The Millennium Reign.

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. Mt.24:14

You are misinterpreting the scriptures, misinterpreting highly figurative language, in favor of ignoring the very plain words of Christ.
Brother, there is an order to all of it. I have no problem with the passages you've referenced, but there is an order. For instance, verse 4 to verse 14 is the Messiah's entire answer to the disciples' question in summary form.

"Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?"

1) Deception (horseman 1)
2) Rumor of wars (horseman 2)
3) Famines (horseman 3)
4) Diseases (horseman 4)
5) Earthquakes & Martyrdom of followers (5th seal)
6) Love grows cold
7) False prophets
9) And then this gospel shall be preached
10) And then the end comes when you, therefore, see the abomination of desolation

Notice that the preaching of the gospel comes at least after the first 5 seals are broken. I'm not disagreeing that this is happening now (in fact, I believe many of the seals have been broken already), I'm just noting the order of events to show that understanding the order in the Almighty's overall plan is important.

Blessings.

Do You Want The Fire Seen Below To Be A Campfire, Where Everybody Is Roasting Marshmallows To The Lord?
Honestly, I rather see such a fire than a fire of destruction with billions dead, yes.

Luke 9:54-55
When the disciples James and John saw this, they asked, “Lord, do You want us to call down fire from heaven to consume them?” 55But Jesus turned and rebuked them and said, "Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of."

The apostles didn't know what spirit they were really of when they hoped for the fire to destroy those who rejected Messiah. You're also forgetting that there is more than one purpose for fire from the Almighty:

The Law is fire - Deut 33:2
And he said, The LORD came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them.

There's a fire of trials - 1 Peter 4:12-13
12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

He who comes is as a refiner's fire - Malachi 3:2-3
2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:

3 And He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver. Then they will present offerings to the LORD in righteousness

Fire as a test for one's works after faith in Christ - 1 Corinthians 3:12-15
12 If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work.

14 If what he has built survives, he will receive a reward.

15 If it is burned up, he will suffer loss. He himself will be saved, but only as if through the flames.

Will there be fire as judgment (i.e. destruction) on that day? Absolutely (lake of fire, etc., etc.), but there will also be a pure law of God preached, trials to test and to prove the nations' fidelity as well as to refine their worship. This is the "rod of iron" with which the saints will rule during the Millennium.

2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:

2 Thessalonians 1:7-8KJV
7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God,
and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

"Destroyed Them All" At His Revealing (Fact)

Luke 17:29-30KJV
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

At His Presence, The World Is Burned, And "All" That Dwell Therein (Fact)

Nahum 1:5KJV
5 The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.

Bodies Consumed By The Lords Fire In Final Judgement

Zechariah 14:12KJV
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

The Heavens And Earth Are (Dissolved)

2 Peter 3:10KJV
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
Yep. Preterism does indeed assume much upon the scriptures, some of which is interesting, but my disagreement with your system is the period defined as "the day of the Lord," and your assumption that the overall destruction will happen all at once at His second coming. We simply disagree, because our Western thinking about the scriptures, which are Eastern writings, can easily misinterpret them scriptural writings. Isaiah, for example, describes immediate things to happen to Israel, within the next few hundred years from his lifetime, and then he does an enormous leap, without warning, some 2800+ years into the future into the end time events. Here in the West, that's anathema.

We Will Disagree, Your Denial Of Gods Fiery Judgement, At The Lords Second Coming Seen Below Is Willful Ignorance, In A (Pre-Determined Bias) For A Millennial Kingdom On This Earth.

You desire to see Jesus Christ return, and start a Millennial Kingdom on this earth, you dont want to acknowledge this fire at the Lords Appearance, Revealing, because your fairy tale Kingdom on this earth is (Gone)

The Lord Jesus Christ Appears, Reveals, In (FIRE)

There wont be a 1,000 year Millennial Kingdom on this earth, Jesus Christ will return in fire and Final judgement, dissolving the heavens and earth by fire.
I desire the kingdom to come as spoken about by the prophets and the Messiah. Many should beware when hoping for the judgment, making absolutely sure they're right with the Almighty because they'll definitely get what they're asking for when He comes again.

This Existing Heaven And Earth Will Pass Away By The Lords Fire In Judgement, As The New Heavens, Earth, Jerusalem, Are Revealed For Eternity (y)

Revelation 21:1-5KJV
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

You did indeed highlight an item of interest, but something after it that is additionally interesting.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

So, if I say that something will happen at the coming of someone, and then point out that "in the which" points out that in the midst of that visit/coming, or whatever one may wish to call it, something will happen. It doesn't mean that it will be at the exact moment of the entry, as is assumed by you and others, but that the total annihilation will happen in the midst of his presence here.

But, hey, this isn't central to the Christian faith. No belief along these lines alter the Gospel message...thankfully.

The Kingdom Will Come, Just As Gods Inspired Words States It Will.
And He will reign over the nations with the saints for 1000 years just like the Word states in Revelation 20, resurrected alive. Feel free to deny it and to add to the words of the prophecy (which is warned against, btw) but if it is written it will happen.

Here's another unambiguous witness of events during the day of the lord...

Zechariah 14:1-18 [brackets mine]
Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.

2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

3 Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

6 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:

7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.

8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.

9 And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.

10 All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king's winepresses.

11 And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction, but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.

[The FIRE...]
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the Lord shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbor, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbor.

14 And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.

15 And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague.

[Ruling over the nations with a rod of iron...]
16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.

18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

You never did explain what system of determination as to how you determine what is literal and what is allegorical.

Also, birthing can take hours. When I took my wife to hospital, the babies didn't just pop out. They came when the time was right for them, and all the parts were working in unison according to their design.

Blessedly, nothing in God's plan is under any of our control, no matter what we may think we understand about it.
