It's a toyota manufactured part, but I would happily settle for a generic part. As long as it
works. The extender part that's missing sits down inside the cup holder instead of on top.
Can't you just stick something in there to elevate the cup?:giggle: Jimmy Rig it ;) LOL

any materials that are available to you in a creative way to make something work.

I did, but wifey is not digging it. :giggle: Turns out the front cup holder has the same extension piece and I just took it out and placed it in the rear cup holder, which is deeper and really needs the extension. The front cup holder without the extension piece still holds a standard size coffee cup with lid without the cup sinking too deep into the cup holder to take the cup back out. Problem solved. :giggle:

Drove German car manufacturers up the wall that Americans wanted stuff like this, in Germany the drivers first and only responsibility was to drive the car, if they wanted to drink coffee they would stop and get coffee, we seem to want it to be an extension of the living room, texting, doing makeup, doing paperwork, reading the paper, etc. is an American thing.

Wee Elephant drives a Dodge. Why?

1) It's MOPAR
2) It's name serves as a WARNING for anyone in front of me!

That explains why the cup holders in my german car are so tiny.

Now there's a brand I have not heard in a long time. :D I remember their designer jeans (but I never owned a pair. I think they were only for women).

I was surprised they even made pillows. But they really are great pillows; I got them at Home Sense :)

Anything else they had at the time did not look as good, so...

They had lavender bedding then, too. I splurged LOL :D

The name Calvin Klein often brings Back To The Future to mind :giggle:

Recently, I removed the plastic extension piece from a cup holder in my wife's car to allow for a tall coffee cup to fit in the holder and now we can't find the extension piece to put back in the holder. My wife was leaving for work this morning and she stuck a standard size plastic coffee cup with lid in that holder and it sits too deep in the holder and when she went to pull the cup out, you guessed it, the lid came off and coffee spilled on her and the car seat! She was furious! We are still searching for the extension, but was wondering if anyone knows where to purchase a new one. I struck out after calling 3 different auto parts stores. The dealerships want way too much money for a new extension!
Maybe a scrap yard?

I am home today. My sister came and visited for a few days and advised me that my small veggie garden needed improving. She has done courses in horticulture and her veggies always grow so nicely so today I am making the improvements and it is so hot but I have to do it today.
