He was fired from his first two jobs for being "non-productive." As an inventor, Edison made 1,000 unsuccessful attempts at inventing the light bulb".
You are right @kinda...if all else fails try something else or try again...and again...
I didn't know that He was the one who said this...😅 I've read this quote many times all over the internet...😍
"Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up."-Thomas A. Edison

Nikola Tesla is probably the best engineer in the 20th century. O.k., that statement is debatable, but the guy was WAY ahead of his time. He is my favorite engineer, hands down. His quirky life style maybe a little different, but the guy was a genius.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikola_Tesla

Nikola Tesla (/ˈtɛslə/; Serbian Cyrillic: Никола Тесла;[2] pronounced [nǐkola têsla];[a] 10 July 1856 – 7 January 1943) was a Serbian-American[5][6][7]inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, and futurist best known for his contributions to the design of the modern alternating current (AC) electricity supply system.[8]

Oh wow! He is not an ordinary man...I thought you were joking about the ability of this person. But why would this kind of man ended up poor and you know...? That is quite sad...

Thanks @kinda 🤗

Well, Edison was a better businessman than Tesla. If my memory serves me right, Tesla signed away his huge contract with Westinghouse, so the company wouldn't go bankrupt?!?! Can't remember exactly, but there was a huge war with D.C. and A.C. current and this might of put Tesla on edge. Basically, Tesla won the A.C./D.C. electrical wars from Edison, but lost his shirt by giving up his rights.

I think Tesla cared more about engineering, than money. There was a woman in Tesla's life also, but he wasn't interested. You should watch a movie or read a book about him. Great story.

Tesla has a car company named after him, think Elon Musk owns it. Some reward after all he gave to society. Business is brutal, it's like war. You pretty much have to put your life on the line sometimes.

Tesla could of sued Marconi (the inventor of the radio) for using his patents for the new device, but decided not to. That's the kind of person Tesla was. I believe he also wanted to give free electricity by wireless transmission, but he didn't have much business sense.

Can you imagine electrical companies giving free energy now a days? That's why Tesla died poor, he was like the people's engineer. Pretty much all modern electronics and electricity are thanks to Tesla's work.

Lol He didn't want to get married also I guess hmmm...sounds kinda familiar 🤔 😂 But It looks like Tesla had a very interesting life... He was not greedy of money and not so interested in getting rich...I think he just wanted to share his brilliant mind and talent to the people...for me based on how you described him... Interesting man😊

Yes, everyone needs support. Knowing that Tesla, Sir Isaac Newton, and Jesus didn't get married keeps singles in good company.

Yeah, Tesla lived an amazing life. I think his father was a preacher and wanted him to follow his profession. Tesla got sick at an early age, and at the time the illness was life threatening. He told his dad, if he is healed from his sickness, than he can pursue his engineering career. The rest is history or something.

I think moving has always been extremely good for me. If all else fails, move somewhere else.

This teacher once said, God will provide where he wants you to be. So, been following that advice, it works for me.

I'm reading a parenting book about 7 year olds.
It says if all else fails...use punishment.

If all else fails make it angry by changing the objectives so that you win anyways

In the context of your statement - what exactly is 'it'...???
with an unfair game or system designed for you to lose. Nothing specific though just change of perspectives and objectives like in this clip lol.
