Hello all, I was wondering about a few things and I hope somebody can give me serious answers.
1st I want to know this, I have a girlfriend who is not religious at all and I am christain. She is a wonderful person and does not ingage in anything really wrongful unlike I've seen in other girls who you know.. Dress and act obscure. So what I'm asking will a good Person like her go to hell just becuese she doesn't believe in god? While other Christians can go and be obscure but be saved only becuese their chrIstian? If so that would make no sense to me..
2nd why do some churches say god hates gays? I know that it's frowned apon but isn't god "all loving"? If he hates gays wouldn't that be going against his or the bible's words?
And lastly.. Recently I've had one of my doubting moments in this religion thinking "how could god have created himself?" and stuff like that and sat down and questioned everything... I am Christian now becuese the world is amazing and it could've have just made it's self with two pieces of matter smashing into itself creating the universe.. If so how did those two objects get there? I do believe in god but had my doubts, does this mean anything like I'm going to be frowned apon by my god?

Thank you for reading this, sorry about my bad grammar and spelling I'm on my iPod and it's hard to get everything perfect.

First off, if you look to men for answers about God they will fail you. Ask God himself. I could answer some questions, but it might confuse you more. Don't let people be your first choice in asking, let God be it. Then when you come to people, you will know who tells the truth and who doesn't Because there are so many things going on right now my friend. So many. Ask Jesus to teach you okay? And if you read the bible, pray first that the Lord will help you understand. If you don't understand keep going and I know the Lord will teach you. Okay? May Jesus bless you.

I will answer your questions as most accurately as I can.

1 John 3:9
Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God

First,
You are not a Christian just because you call yourself a Christian. So just because some people call themselves Christians doesn't mean they really are.
A Christian is a person who understands completely the way God has revealed Himself to humanity. First through creation, the universe, earth etc, etc, etc.
But the difference between Christianity and any other religion (BTW Christianity is not a religion, we literally follow Christ) Is that the God we worship literally came down to earth and humbled Himself and denied Himself of His own power. He came to serve and to pay the price of sin for all of humanity, the price of sin is death, and He was the only worthy sacrifice because He was without sin and completed the law, He is God Himself. Anyone who understands the amazing love of God, (which was that He gave the One who He loved the most for all of humanity) and understand what it took for humanity to be forgiven (the torture, humiliation, and broken heart of Jesus) and believes in His heart that He was raised from the dead (there were witnesses to this) and confesses His sins to the Father and repents and turns away from them because the person understands that it is because of sin that Jesus was crucified, THAT PERSON is a Christian.

2 Corinthians 6:14
Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?

Second,
If you are the Christian that I described above, then you would understand that God wouldn't want you to have those kinds of relationships with unbelievers. It is completely unprofitable for you, and actually it is very damaging because temptation can arise from this relationship and you are sharing yourself physically and emotionally with someone who doesn't have the Holy Spirit.

Genesis 1:1
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Third,
God is an eternal being. He has no beginning and no ending. If you truly believe that God is the creator of the universe, we can see that from His overwhelming knowledge and wisdom on how to divide time, space, energy, and matter from largest to smallest scale and dimension that He is truly all knowledgeable and all powerful. He gave existence to the reality that we see, which has a beginning in time, giving this universe the age it has. God was there before the universe existed, He didn't get created along with the universe since it couldn't have come out of nowhere. It came from the words of His mouth. You cannot waver in this. If you believe that verse above, you should then believe the rest of the bible. If He created the universe, there is really nothing impossible for Him.

God bless you!

Hie, I hope my answers will help you a bit, please read the word and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you so that you can understand. God was not create, he has alwasy been and the universe was created by him through his word. About your girlfriend being nice does not have anything to do with being saved and she should be saved.

Be blessed

Question 1: The Lord is just. Turning your back on your Creator is not a good thing to do, though, is it?

Question 2: Sins are things that destroy our lives. Having sex with someone you aren’t lawfully married to is a sin. No two men would want to marry each other unless they were already having sex. Therefore, homosexuality is a sin.

Question 3: The Lord doesn’t fault us for being curious, I don’t think. At the same time, we need to love him with all our hearts, minds, and souls. He has more than earned our love.

Serious answers for your serious questions. Note: these are coming from someone who grew up in the faith, who has literally read the Bible cover to cover, and in doing so came to conclusion that it isn't for me. So you're getting these from someone who has, at one time or another, been on both sides of the fence.

Question 1: Will my non-Christian girlfriend go to hell. Bible says: yep. Hard as it is for Christians to reconcile their faith with the fact that their faith says anyone who doesn't agree with them is going to hell, that's the Biblical truth. The Bible doesn't stand for non-believers, or deniers of the faith, or anyone defying the faith. Modern Christianity likes to take a lot of liberty on these matters, and that's cool. When you get right down to it, it's your faith, and you can practice and believe in it however you see fit -- it's what anyone practicing a religion has been doing since the beginning of time. But if you want the straight Biblical answer: yes, your girlfriend will burn in hell if she doesn't believe in Christ as the son of God.

(Also: I think by "obscure" you may have meant "obscene.")

Question 2: Hating gays -- but God loves you? The Bible is very clear on this: homosexuality is an abomination. The big contrast here comes from the God of the Old Testament, who is very, very vengeful, jealous, angry, violent, and cruel, and the God of the New Testament, who is considered to be loving, forgiving, and nurturing. The God of the Old Testament hated gays and had lots and lots of rules that were also considered sinful (here is a GREAT video from a show called The West Wing that lays out just how crazy the rules of the Old Testament are, of which homosexuality is only one: YouTube - ‪The West Wing- Bible Lesson‬‏). But the God of the New Testament wants us to be loving and forgiving of those who sin. This is a great and largely unanswerable question. Lots of Christians answer it by choosing to discriminate against gays and hold an archaic prejudice against them and tell them they shouldn't be allowed their equal rights (sound familiar? The men and women who support public segregation and making interracial marriage illegal used the same sort of Biblical arguments). You can choose to treat everyone as equals, regardless of who they love.

Question 3: What does God think of my doubts about the origins of the universe. Okay. Here's the thing. There's science, and there's religion. One is based on fact, observation, and evidence. The other is based on belief and faith. There's a weird gray area when it comes to the origins of the universe, because just about every religion has an origins story, and those stories don't exactly line up with what we KNOW to be true based on scientific fact. You can choose to mix the two to satisfy your religious beliefs; for example, the so called Big Bang created the universe, you could say that a god created the Big Bang. Evolution and natural selection resulted in the array of life on Earth, including human life -- perhaps evolution was God's method for creating the diversity of his creations. The point is this: please, please don't be ignorant of science and fact for the sake of maintaining religious dogma. An excellent place to start to educate yourself on the world and the universe is the inimitable Carl Sagan. Watch his Cosmos tv series -- it's on Netflix Instant if you have it (if you don't WHY NOT IT'S AWESOME. Sign up for the free trial and watch it). He'll show you what you need to know, challenge your beliefs, and show you that ultimately, God or no, the universe is vast, majestic, and a wonder to behold. Here's a little clip to get you started (YouTube - ‪Carl Sagan - Evolution‬‏)

These are great, probing questions about your faith. KEEP ASKING THEM! It's essential to question what you've always been taught as fact. That's how you grow as a person.

the Lord hates SIN. He loves HUMANS

he hates homosexuality, he hates lies, he hates lust, he hates greed... but he loves us.
But yes, we do need to believe in Jesus Christ to be saved, no matter how good or bad we are by our own standards.
It was his blood that saved us, not believing in him, or knowingly going against Gods will is basically saying "I don't need you",
in which case free will results in walking away from God. God cannot tolerate sin, so one needs to "Be covered in Jesus blood" (believe) to be with him.

What did Jesus say? Love your neighbor as yourself.

You think you believe in God more, than her, for what reason?

Do you read the bible?

It says that ALL living things live by faith, we all have faith.

Maybe you just do not know what her faith is.

She is a female, maybe she had a not so good upbringing, but you are her boyfriend, if you are being a godly man and leading her into courtship and wanting to marry her, then you might even be responsible for helping her to know God, and speak her faith more, or even grow in faith.

She is a female, she has womb, a heart, interests, a brain. And you need to acknowledge that because God made her that way.

Too many in this world, judge by words and outward appearance.

We are not all at the same faith level, so respect her differences, and know that if you two stay together, you may see her one day, open up, and grow and become what you imagine in your head now.

I know this pain of being judged, so don't do it to her. By her books, invite her to church, let her soul and heart be moved, and this will be nature and natural.

Do you plan on having a marriage or kids together?

God has given you resources at this minute, where is that leading you?

Anyway, just a reminder.

Take Care of yourselves.

"Whoever humbles themselves as this little child shall be called greatest in the kingdom of heaven."
Receive her like a child, she has innocence.

What do you want to see for her future.

Do you love like Jesus says, love your neighbor as yourself. Now we can't love everyone, humanly impossible, but she is your girlfriend, nearly the closest one to you. Would you want someone judging you for everything you feel, think, say, do, are, and when you are in the midst of growing and developing?

KNOW HER. Any impact can come from knowing.

GOD BLESS MUCHO!
