75% of Republicans are still with Trump. He's speaking this weekend as a matter of fact. And it's annoying when people say "following Trump". I'm not following him anywhere, his policies lined up with mine. I didn't change anything to follow him.

I see you are Canadian and live in Canada, so why all the interest in US elections?
Why should we accept that you are an authority on Trump, Republicans, or anything else concerning our elections.
In my opinions you should just mind your own business and let us Americans decide what is best for our country.
It seems that unlike some Americans, Canadians have a broader scope on world interests and that is to be commended and not given a snotty answer

Didn't you just get here? Nehemiah has been here a long time. You are making a name for yourself with your bigotted opinions

America is becoming a "totalitarian state before our eyes" under President Biden's leadership, feminist author and former Democratic adviser Naomi Wolf told "Tucker Carlson Tonight" Monday.
Are you aware of this?

House Democrats are pressing cable and streaming services over their decisions to host channels that the lawmakers accuse of spreading misinformation and conspiracy theories that lead to “real world harm.”

Reps. Anna Eshoo (Calif.) and Jerry McNerney (Calif.), senior members of the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Communications and Technology, sent letters to the companies on Monday questioning their “ethical principles” involved in deciding which channels to carry and when to take action against a channel.

Saying that conservative news channels are the ones spreading false info and causing division in the county.

I cannot believe people are just going to continue to sit by while liars and cheats take over the country.

What bigotted opinion are you talking about?
Those who do not live in the US have no right to tell us what is wrong or right about US politicians no more than I have a right to tell people in other countries what is right or wrong about their politician.

It looks like Americans do not know what is best for their country since all the criminals are in charge now. In fact America as America is finished.

And since you know nothing about me, you cannot comment on why I am involved with American politics.
While I agree with your bold comment, but as an American I have the right to comment on what anyone says.
Are you Canadian living in Canada as your profile states?

I think why some canucks here at CC get so worked up about US politics is that we already live under a deviant occupation regime and hate to see it befall our American friends. In fact the U.S. seemed to be the last bastion in the west not to totally succumb to the vileness.

From comments I’ve read on various boards Trump is seen by the 'normals' internationally as a symbol - as one who stands up to malignant lefty deviancy. Hence when the U.S. was betrayed it felt like Constantinople had fallen to the Ottomans...

I cannot believe people are just going to continue to sit by while liars and cheats take over the country.
The problem with the RINO politicians is that they do not stand on principles. Probably never have.

On the other hand the Leftists know exactly what they want: (1) the total trashing of the Constitution, (2) the total nullification of the Bill of Rights, (3) the total cancellation of the rule of law, and (4) the total annihilation of conservatives. And that is exactly why there has been little or no push back against all the anarchy and lawlessness. It takes guts and principles to confront thugs and bullies.

Had Biden lost fraudulently to Trump, D.C. would have had no peace until the Supreme Court reversed that decision. But since Trump had the election stolen, the RINOs have simply surrendered to the evildoers, and it's business as usual for the Left, while the Republicans have made themselves irrelevant.

And in spite of this Trump wants to go back to the GOP to suffer another humiliating defeat. His supporters are clearly telling him to start a new Patriot Party, but no, he must return to the ones who have hated him as much as the Leftists and be betrayed all over again. CPAC actually invited Mike Pence to their upcoming convention after he threw Trump under the bus. Can you believe this?

Here are some facts for you.

Below are the past president going back 50 years, the number of criminal indictments in each administration, and the number of people who have been sent to prison in each administration.

Trump (R, 2017-2020): 81, 14
Obama (D, 2009-2016): 0, 0
Bush Jr. (R, 2001-2008): 2, 1
Clinton (D, 1993-2000): 2, 1
Bush Sr. (R, 1989-1992): 1, 1
Reagan (R, 1981-1988): 26, 8
Carter (D, 1977-1980): 1, 0
Ford (R, 1974-1976): 1, 1
Nixon (R, 1969-1974): 76, 15

Yes, do let's talk about which party has the most criminals.

I notice you don’t give any sources for your ‘facts’ and zero context. Typical lib M.O. – swamp drivel I suspect.

Here’s something for you to chew on - Dems protect their criminals as a professional courtesy whereas repubs will prosecute – especially their own. Conservatives are disgusted when their own cross the line – dems celebrate them.

To be fair, those numbers aren't accurate. Obama is 0 for 0? Plenty of very bad things happened under his direct oversight. Wanna talk about Benghazi? How about pallets of cash to Iran? How about police relations?

I'm sensing you still aren't understanding that just because the media doesn't produce a scandal doesn't mean something did not happen and it does not make them the authority on facts.

For the record, Trump got charged with zero criminal mischief and dodged impeachment twice. Don't blindly quote "facts" from the media, it's both unhelpful and dishonest. It's our job to think critically about the corrupt systems of the world and challenge what they claim the truth is.

This is rather peculiar, since you object to others having anything to say based on their nationality

I collected the data from multiple sources, including (but not limited to) wikipedia, reuters, politifact, and whitehouse.gov. Politifact listed Trump's convictions in the hundreds, but I couldn't find anything to support that number, so I went with the lower number that had independent support.

If you find something to contradict those statistics, by all means, present it. Otherwise, the swamp is 100% yours.

Lolz Keep swilling the swamp water!:ROFL::ROFL:

You made the assertion - you support it with actual creditable sources and CONTEXT.

I also seriously suspect the numbers you’ve shown are padded with hold-overs from previous dem administrations with repubs being disgusted and showing them the cell door. Again Context!

Just because we have a right to comment does not mean we should.
There are a lot of things I remain silent on because it is really none of my business.
Sometimes the right thing to say in nothing.
Just my opinion. Everyone has a right to their opinion even if we disagree.
Might have been better if I had remained silent.

no argument from me on this, although I don't think Pence threw Trump under the bus

I don't think Pence has the stomach for actual hard core politics. shrugs
