Precious friend(s), Is This not our hope?

"To whom God would make known what is the Riches of The Glory of This
Mystery among the Gentiles; Which is CHRIST in you, The Hope of Glory:"
(Colossians 1:27 KJB!)

Is not This Hope of Glory, our Home-going To our Final Destination, Heaven?:

"For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before
in The Word of The Truth Of The {GRACE} Gospel;" (Colossians 1:5 KJB!)

Is there more? Yes, Many more Heavenly Passages, Be Blessed!:

Fellow "members" In CHRIST, who told you were NOT "going to Heaven"?
Are not The Following Also part of "The Riches of The Glory Of This Mystery"?:
What Saith The Scripture?:

Our position In CHRIST!:

"Blessed be The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who Hath blessed us
with all spiritual blessings in Heavenly places in Christ:" (Ephesians 1:3 KJB!)
+
"Which He Wrought in Christ, when He Raised HIM from the dead, and set
HIM at His Own Right Hand in The Heavenly Places," (Ephesians 1:20 KJB!)
+
"And Hath raised us up together, and Made us sit together
in heavenly places In Christ Jesus:" (Ephesians 2:6 KJB!)
+
"For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look
for The Saviour, The Lord Jesus Christ" (Philippians 3:20 KJB!)
+
"For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were
dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with
hands, Eternal in the heavens." (2 Corinthians 5:1 KJB!)

If we Don't go to heaven, how, exactly does possessing
God's Eternal Heavenly building work?

"For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with
our house which is from heaven:" (2 Corinthians 5:2 KJB!)

Our Culmination to be With CHRIST, In Glorification, At Great GRACE Departure?:

Even though we are "changed into immortality, and put on the incorruptible,"
at This Event, do we not still have the Bema Judgment Seat Of CHRIST, for
"rewards for good works," AND Also
"to Clean Up" All our "losing rewards/
bad works" (1 Corinthians 3:8-15 KJB!), to Be Ready For The Following?:

"In The Body Of HIS Flesh through death, to Present you holy and
unblameable and unreproveable in HIS Sight:" (Colossians 1:22 KJB!)
+
"That HE might Present it To Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle,
or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish." (Ephesians 5:27 KJB!)
+
"To the end HE may Stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness Before God, even our
Father,
at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ With All HIS saints." (1 Thessalonians 3:13 KJB!)

Conclusion:
The Holy Word Of Truth States: "ALL of The Body Of CHRIST, At Departure from earth,
goes To Heaven, To be Judged, And Presented To BOTH The SON, And To The Father!
Who Will "Be Seated ON His Throne, In HIS Sight," In HEAVEN!
Amen?

Finally, After The Body Of CHRIST is Presented Above, then this?:

"Know ye not that we shall judge angels?..." (1 Corinthians 6:3a KJB!) Angels in Heaven?

Another thought would be: who is going to be occupying the vacancies in heaven, where "the
1/3 of the angels Fell With Lucifer"? Possibly The Body Of CHRIST, ruling/reigning in Heaven?

Please, Be Very RICHLY Blessed In All spiritual blessings In CHRIST!
And Precious friend(s), see you In God's Great GloryLand!! ♫😇↑

If you think of 'heaven' as "where Jesus is", then - we are going to heaven: however, if you think of it in more 'absolute' terms - our "final destination" is on the New Earth. (whereas, 'heaven' is "the third heaven")

Revelation 21:1-5KJV
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

John, Chapter 14:

1) Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2)
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3) And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Jesus is speaking of The Kingdom of God. Heaven. Where the Throne of God sits.

1 Corinthians, Chapter 15:

51) Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52) In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53) For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54) So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55) O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56) The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57) But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58) Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

We are changed from earthly/fleshly bodies to celestial/heavenly bodies so as to be able to live in Heaven with God forever. Scripture says (see below).

39) All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
40) There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
41) There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
42) So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43) It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44) It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45) And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
46) Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47) The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
48) As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49) And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
50) Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Given these Scriptures, how do we reconcile the "New Earth" belief verses our residing in the Mansions Jesus prepared for us in the Kingdom of God (Heaven)?

I have one idea that reconciles this BUT IT IS NOT SCRIPTURAL TRUTH. It is just a thought I have.

There are two types of Christians. Newly born Christians, still supping on honey and milk, and mature Christians who have grown into being Spiritual Christians filled with the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. The Apostle Paul taught of these more than once.

BOTH ARE SAVED, and BOTH WILL RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE! But, I think that the new Christians not yet filled with the Holy Spirit will reside on the New Earth. For they are still tied to the "earthly" things, and not yet mature enough to feast on the "spiritual" aspects of the Word of God.

Sanctified, mature Christians who have received the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit will reside in the Mansions Jesus prepared for them in the Kingdom of God.

Given that no one knows the day or the hour that Jesus will return to gather His Church to Him, it is acceptable that there will be new Christians who have recently accepted Jesus as Lord of their lives, and not yet mature Christians filled with the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. As well, there are those Christians who do not believe in the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. They believe that the "comforter" Jesus promised to send is the Written Word, the Holy Bible. This dichotomy vs. trichotomy debate gives evidence of the two concepts.

Anyway, these are just my thoughts..........

I have to question, how a person can "accept" Jesus Christ? I can't remember a time, when Jesus and the Holy Spirit weren't working in me - long before I 'received salvation' meaning, the day I was shown my sin and repented of it, absolving God of all the charges I had made against Him (in ignorance). Immediately, I received the Holy Spirit. Now, being filled with the Holy Spirit, versus being a babe in Christ, we can talk about. But the Holy Spirit must convict us, as we are dead in our sins and helpless. I think you are speaking of persons who think they are saved and fill churches headed by false teachers, who preach Jesus, or some other form of Him, but are also dead in their sins themselves. Those are deceived, who do not have the seal of God, not baby Christians.

Rom 8:9, 14, 16-17
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

The Holy Bible is the Word of God, not a collection of myths. This movement to claim the Bible is idol worship is laughable. Mark says man's traditions makes it seem like the word of God is worthless. To the corrupt, it is. There is no life without the Word of God, whether heard or written. Jesus withstood the temptations of the devil using the written Word. That should be our guide.

Matt 4:4 [AKJV]
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Mark 7:13
Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.

They have to 'recieve ' Jesus . John 1.12 . The Holy Spirit reproves the world of the sin ( singular) of not believing on Jesus .

It's semantics, and I have no disagreement with you, but I just prefer to use the word "believe" rather than accept. Believe implies a call to action (repent, follow His commandments, pick up the cross daily, seek after Him) rather than the connotation modern churches apply to the word accept, that one can passively receive a free gift, and nothing more is required.

John 3:18
“He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Php 1:29 For to you * it has been granted for Christ’s sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake,
Jas 2:19
You believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder. 20 But are you willing to recognize, you foolish fellow, that faith without works is useless?
(Heb 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

A case can be made for the New Earth being equivalent to Heaven, since the New Jerusalem comes down out of heaven upon it. It seems to be some kind of "Heavenly New Earth" so in the end there is no contradiction to what is intended when one thinks of heavenly rewards etc.

"So the last will be first, and the first will be last." Matthew 20:16
To me this says it may be the last saved that are first in the kingdom of God. Also the parable of the vineyard worker shows that reward will not be based on time. Matthew 20: 1–16

Maybe you means something different that what you actually wrote.

We have the Holy Spirit or we are not His. There is no such thing as a Christian that does not believe in the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. That would be an unbeliever not a born again Christian.

A Christian that has been saved a week understands that the Spirit of God is now within him/her and can testify to the changes as a result.

Scripture tells us that salvation is not a simple matter of knowing about Christ and what Christ did for us.

Luke 7:21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’

If we hold a grudge against another, how can we expect forgiveness? Matt. 6: 15 but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

People who want to keep sin in their lives, who do not repent of their sin, are also given that right to keep sin rather than be forgiven of sin as the many verses about the need to repent tells us.

So scripture tells us we need three things for salvation: repentance, forgive others, and faith in Christ and all Christ tells us.

Yes. Living in a constant state of forgiveness, is non-negotiable to spending eternity in His Presence.

Luke 23:34
But Jesus was saying, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.” And they cast lots, dividing up His garments among themselves.
Acts 7:60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

Amen. I will only add that I believe we will be Raptured up into 3rd Heaven for a brief time (7 years) to be glorified and have works tested and participate in the Marriage Supper of the Bride and Groom (Church and Christ). We will then come back down with Christ to usher in the Millennial Reign. I picture the City of New Jerusalem as floating in the 1st Heaven for the Final State.

There is no bride without the saved remnant of Israel and and all the tribulation believers.
There can be no marriage supper with an incomplete bride.
The wedding feast happens on earth after Jesus returns when his bride is made ready.

The New Jerusalem happens with the creation of a new heavens & earth 1000 years later.

Amen.

Furthermore, if people would actually read their Bibles, then they would realize that the verses which they claim teach about a "rapture" to heaven actually teach no such thing.

For example, we read:

I Thessalonians chapter 4

[13] But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
[14] For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
[15] For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
[16] For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
[17] Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
[18] Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Here, we see Jesus "coming" (vs. 15), or "descending from heaven" (vs. 16), and "them also which sleep" or have died "in Jesus will God bring with him" (vs. 14).

In other words, both Jesus and the dead in Christ are coming or descending FROM HEAVEN, and not going to heaven.

We also see how those "which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord", IN HIS DESCENT OR COMING, "in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord".

"Be with the Lord" where?

Right here on earth.

In other words, where does this portion of scripture mention the imaginary U-turn back to heaven?

The correct answer is nowhere because it's never happening.

Along these same lines, we read:

I Corinthians chapter 15

[50] Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
[51] Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
[52] In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
[53] For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
[54] So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
[55] O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

It's the same exact scenario.

Here, first, "the dead in Christ" or those whom Jesus is bringing with him in his DESCENT FROM HEAVEN "shall be raised incorruptible", and then those who are alive and remain "shall be changed".

For what purpose?

To allegedly make a U-turn back to heaven for 7 years?

No, not at all.

Instead, for the exact purpose that Paul actually stated:

"Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption." (I Cor. 15:50)

We need glorified bodies because "flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God", and the kingdom of God is coming to this earth, even as Jesus taught us to pray:

"After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. " (Matt. 6:9-10)

King James Version

20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

There is no bride without the saved remnant of Israel and and all the tribulation believers.
There can be no marriage supper with an incomplete bride.
The Bride is the raptured Church.

The wedding feast happens on earth
It happens in Heaven and then we come back down with Him for the 1000 year reign (The Millennium).

The New Jerusalem happens with the creation of a new heavens & earth 1000 years later.
Yes, Amen! We have the same view on this.

I understand your point of view also. You are still my much beloved sister in the Lord. So nice to be able to discuss in a loving way.:):coffee:

Furthermore, if people would actually read their Bibles, then they would realize that the verses which they claim teach about a "rapture" to heaven actually teach no such thing.
The parable of the Ten Virgins is a fine picture of the Rapture and the Wedding. Those who are ready go to a Marriage Feast, not a Tribulation. We, the Church, are not appointed to wrath.

Matthew
25:1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
25:2 And five of them were wise, and five [were] foolish.
25:3 They that [were] foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
25:4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
25:5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
25:6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
25:7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
25:8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
25:9 But the wise answered, saying, [Not so]; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
25:10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
25:11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
25:12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
25:13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

1 Thessalonians
5:6 Therefore let us not sleep, as [do] others; but let us watch and be sober.
5:7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
5:8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
5:10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
