called his wife's name 'Eve'
Not call here mother. No verse says to refer to her as ' Mother ' . And your verse for Adam ? We have verses about the Jewish ' Fathers ' Abraham ect .
The Mother of all the living. i am among the living, therefore, she is my mother. Are you among the living?
Adam is the husband of Mother Eve. He is also the father of the Mankind race. Father Adam, is the real Abraham of the Mankind race.

a believer is no longer ' in Adam ' ( or eve for that matter ) So its completely unbiblical to refer to Adam and eve that way .

1 cor 15 .
21For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

22For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

23But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

24Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

Forknew... before (means a time before your body was being formed) you were formed in the belly I knew thee... Explain it, if it is not foreknew.

Foreknew dictionary meaning; be aware of (an event) before it happens.

in Adam, means in mortality. Adam, was called the earthy man. How can you claim that you are not an earthy man with a mortal body.

God is omniscient and outside time. He foreknows everything by definition.

Exactly. So those HE foreknew, HE predestined to conform to the image of the Son of GOD.

However, there is a passage where HE says HE didn't know a people.

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Now thi is written in Genesis 1, and it says that Man was made in HIS image and after HIS likesness.

Then in Genesis 3, we read about the Fall of Man, and GOD said after the Fall had happened.

22 And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

If this is so, is it that Man was not made in HIS image and after HIS likeness in Genesis 1:26?
What I have always learned is that "image" and "likeness" meant God created man (Adam) to be His Godly representative on earth. God gave Adam authority over other living things on earth and was expected to carry out God's will on earth. I remember one of my Sunday school teachers saying it was like God made Adam a "manager" on earth but Adam still reports to God obviously. And of course Eve was created of Adam later, etc. So when the Fall happened, I don't think it meant that God made a mistake. "Image" and "likeness" didn't mean Adam was like God in every way because there was always only one God. Adam and Eve just made human mistakes like we all do.

I don't disagree, but what does this mean then.

Gen 5
3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth:

Maybe just that a father wants his son to represent his best qualities?
