Just a quick shout out to the several different people here who have contacted me privately over the last couple of days while offering me help in relation to a question I had asked.

I understand my options now, thanks to all of you, and I truly appreciate all of your efforts.

...hey, ...Hey, ...HEY!

Don't be talking about Gandy that way..............
:LOL::LOL: p_r..... Gandy's post are FAR from
So, how's everybody doing?

Anything on anybody's heart or mind?
simi tough weekend.........
would love to say NO caffine this weekend, but I can not tell a lie.......
Friday the withdrawl headaches were so INSANE...... Saturday I was out shopping and grabbed some drive through pepsi and later gas station pepsi........ Sunday I snuck away for a while and ended up with a drive through coke.......
it all helped take the edge off a little.
Now, so far today it's not caffine I'm craving but more just the sugar...... for me that's easier to curb than caffine cravings.

Don't read any joke threads while you are eating or drinking... ;)
yeah, especially stuff from that GaryA guy.......
one minute you'r reading stuff from him all smily and "awww that's nice"
then UNEXPECTEDLY the next thing you know your screen and keyboard are covered in whatever was in your mouth

you really need a pizza oven for the best results.
yes, but a lot of those counter top pizza ovens are a waste of space (since they don't do the job very well-we've had 2 or 3) and the kind that do a good job are usually very $$$$
A pizza stone in the oven works really good, BUT here's the trick to making them work, you wanna get your oven up REAL HOT (like 450) and let it sit in that for at least 20 minutes THEN turn the temp down to 350 (or whatever temp you're cooking the pizza at) and let it cook on the hot hot stone. (This makes those $2 thin crust frozen pizzas awesome)

Im a nurse and work in a school I guess im a school nurse lol
of all the adults in school (when I was growing up) I remember always having a special liking twards the nurses.......
maybe because they didn't have class after class full of students and were able to be a little more personable.

I didn't think so you need a paid prescription and I even tried paying but they don't want my money lol, That's a first. I tried it before I was directed to this chat
I seem to recall reading (somewhere on this site) others mentioning having troubles with the paid subscribtion link.
If your interested, we can always get you in touch with those in charge of the site to have them help you.

It's the best, in my estimation, but everybody has their own preferred tastes.

To make matters worse (actually better), I washed it down with some nice, cold lemonade, so I had that whole lemon-lime thing working.

That's it...I'm having another piece right now...lol.
AAAAAANNNNNNNNNNDDDDDDDDDDDD now I'm wanting some key lime pie.....
hubs usually orders it from Schwans (soooooo goooooooooood so so so so so so soooooooo gooooooood)
I must learn to make this!

I've had the same luck with melatonin. I think that if I don't hit the sack as soon as I feel a little drowsy after taking it, it doesn't work. But sometimes it just knocks me out. Sometimes it doesnt do anything at all. It's a crap shoot lol.
I find with melatonin that if I take it to late at night and don't have enough time to "sleep it off" that I am very tired and groggy the next day, like WORSE than I would have been if I had not taken it.
Although I have noticed that nights I take it, hubs doesn't complain about me snoring ( as bad- and sometimes not at all )

I've never tried a pizza stone before, it sounds like they work. Will have to look into getting one (y)

It is really good, but I noticed a "side effect" of sorts yesterday.

Normally, I don't even eat dessert, and, other than my seeming addiction to lemonade (lol), I generally don't consume too much sugar either.

Well, after my key lime pie binge yesterday, I definitely CRASHED after my apparent sugar spike, so now I have to eat a little less pie at a time than before.

In other words, no more pieces that are the size of pyramids...lol.

well there's a simple solution:
just make the pieces smaller THEN instead of only 1 you can have 2!!!!:LOL::LOL:

That might work...lol.

Seriously, though, it's really eye-opening to me how much of an effect a single-serving of something can have on somebody's body.

I've previously mentioned how I cut all caffeine out about 32 years ago, and now I feel a very uncomfortable "rush" if I have more than two sips of hot chocolate.

It's the same thing with the key lime pie.

I truly did cut out most (hey, I need a fix every now and then...lol) junk foods several years back as well, and now something as simple as a piece of pie caused me to spike and then fall. I literally took a nap yesterday after coming down from my sugar "rush", and I hardly ever sleep at all. I actually tried to calculate just how far behind I am in sleep a few months ago, and I figured out that I was 90 years behind in sleep. Hopefully, I misplaced a decimal point somewhere...lol.

how do you calculate how much sleep you've missed???
oh boy, with all the late nights I've had in my lifetime, well I'm probablly a lifetime behind on sleep.......
NO WONDER I"M SO TIRED!!!!!!! And here all this time I thought it was from raising kids
