that is not correct, in the early year of man the son of god were those of God people who walked with him

Adam walked with God , Enoch walked with God , Noah walked with God , Abraham walked with God , Moses Walked with God , Joshua walked with God.

Jesus said,

"Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. 30For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven."

Angel doesn't marry. They do not have sex. God made the angels and God did not create them to have sex. I'm sure those out there want to do all they can to make God seem like when HE makes something the creation can just jump outside of HIS All-powerful
Sovereign and do what they want.
Correct!

Matthew 22:30 should be considered.
It may well have a bearing on the matter. Then it again it might not. I was just stating the two main views Christians have on Gen 6.

Angels are sons of God.

A son of God in Scripture one that was sinless in its creation. After the fall, the only way a man can become a son of God is through the new birth, by becoming a new creature in Christ, by believing in the d,b,r for sins.
I do not know where you get your info from.....however I sugest that the Bible be your 1st thing to rea because what you just posted is totally incorrect according to the Bible.

Having actually read the Bible I can tell you that the phrase "Sons of God" occurs ten times in the Bible. It occurs five times in the Old Testament (Genesis 6:2, 4; Job 1:6; 2:1; 38:7) and five times in the New Testament (Matthew 5:9; Luke 20:36; Romans 8:14, 19; Galatians 3:26).

The phrase has different meanings in the Old compared to the New Testament. LOCATION & CONTEXT!!!!
There were NO HUMANS in heaven in Job. In fact there are NO humans in heaven today. So, the sons of God can not be humans in Job. Job is thought to be the oldest book in the Bible and some say it predated Genesis.

Job 1:6.............
Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them.

Job 2:1.............
"Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them to present himself before the LORD."

In both passages Satan and the “sons of God” appear before the Lord. It is important to notice that the “sons of God” presented themselves before God. Therefore, since the holy angels in heaven are continually in the presence of God according to Matthew 18:10, the “sons of God” are not holy angels. Instead they are the followers of Satan.

Jesus teaches us in Matthew 12:26 that Satan has his own kingdom. His followers are demons or angels who were cast out of heaven along with Satan. In Luke 10:18 Jesus states that He saw Satan cast out of heaven like lightning (Isaiah 14:15; Ezekiel 28:16-17). Revelation 12:9 helps us understand that some angels had joined Satan in his rebellion and were cast out of heaven too!

ONLY FALLEN ANGELS.....Demons would be associated with Satan and since there are NO humans in heaven the options are rather limited!

Might not???????

That was God speaking in Matthew 22:30. HE said that angels are asexual which means that they can not reproduce.

With all due respect to you.......but do you think that Jesus was .......
#1. Lieing or
#2. Being purposefully deceptive?

I know Matthew 22:30 are the word's of Jesus. I'll repost for you again my main point:

There are two main views on Genesis 6.

One that says that the sons of God are referring to the line of Seth who went with the woman of Cain. basically marrying those who had rejected God.
The other and possibly Older, and certainly held by the early church was that the sons of God here refer to fallen angels (Using Job 1:6 etc as proof that angels where called sons of God).
Which view do I hold well I'm not sayingo_O:ROFL:

Which is why we can only speculate. However since the text suggest that it indicated his size we can assume he was close to that size. Assuming he was wealthy enough as a king to commission a bed to be made that did not allow his feet to hang off the end we assume he was a bit less than the size of the bed. Anywhere between 10-12. Can you imagine a 12 foot man? There were giants in the land in those days and this was before the sons of God saw the daughters of men and took them wives of all which they chose.
Goliath was NOT the 1st giant man. "Giantism" is a glad malfunction problem and has been with us a very long time.

I was actually respnding to post #122 where you said of Matthew 22:30.............

It just seemed to me that Jesus, God just said that demons and humans can not mate which actually then answeres the qustion of whether or not it was humans or demons in Gemesis 6.

The bible never says angels are a-sexual nor does it say they cannot reproduce with humans. That verse only says Godly angels don't marry (nothing about a-sexual or not capable of reproduction) but rebel angels did in the past.

As angels AND as born again believers. CONTEXT and LOCATION gives you the answer.

Example.......In Job 1:6 the "sons of God" came WITH Satan to report to God.

God is in heaven. There were NO MEN in heaven when Job was written. SO LOCATION demands that the "sons of God" in that Scripture are FALLEN Angels.

WHY............Because they CAME WITH Satan. Good angels would and have never such a thing!
Agreed

Agreed once again, therefore the sons of God in Genesis 6 were angels who left their first estate.

John....that is NOT what I said.

The location of Geneis 6 is the EARTH.

Genesis 6:1 says.........."When human beings(1) began to increase in number on the earth(2) and daughters were born to them".

Where in that Sripture do YOU see "ANGELS"? (1) The CONTEXT is HUMAN BEINGS. (2) The LOCATION is the earth and there is NO mention of angels!

Oh I see......because you WANT the demons to have had sex and produced the Nephillim, YOU then make it that GOOD angels in heaven do not have sexual realtions....but the same spiritual beings who have fallen, but are not in heaven, they can somehow have the plumbing to have sex with humans.

Do you read what you post BEFORE YOU POST IT????

The Scriptures say that NO ANGELS are sexual! Spiritual beings can not have physical sex with humans women!

It is impossible my friend.

It was not possible for man to be a son of God in Genesis 6. After the fall, man could only become a son of God through the new birth after the cross.
