My hubby didn't grow up in church, he asks me from time to time what this saying or that means. I didn't realize how many catch phrases we actually use.

A word of faith catchphrase, “pleading the blood”

There is no example in the Bible of anyone “pleading the blood,” so in that sense it is not biblical.

(Keep It Simple, Silly- (um some people use another word for that last "S")

I didnt grow up in church either and didnt understand why christians were always saying everything was 'awesome'

But now I find myself saying it often lol.
