Astrid, why don't you write a poem (in English)? I can try to put it to music. We might have a hit.

Ok, I'll try to think of one when I've read the next chapter in my book. In the meantime: This is one I wrote at folk high school

*clears voice*

A pen
is hanging
from the
ceiling
or perhaps
it is
a pencil?

It should be a Chrstian poem. (Perhaps the pen-pencil has the name of someone's church on it.)

They say: I don't believe there is a God
there is no proof of such a divine being.
How are we to show them
How can we reveal Love to those unseeing?

They are blind to the truth present everywhere
If only they could see what I see.
How are we to show them
that the proof of God is in every tree?

I like your poem.

In the sixth line I would like to change "I" to "we."

Perhaps the last line needs a more convincing argument for the existence of God.

You need at least one more verse, preferably two.

One thing that proves the Lord's existence is how he will solve our problems for us if we listen to him.

Verse 2:
They are blind to the truth before their eyes
If only they’d make themselves aware
How are we ever going to show them
The proof is in how God answers prayer

God lives inside each one of us, speaking to us at the right times, remaining silent at the right times.

Do you ever thank him for the things you do have ?
Do you thank him to be alive and even know him ?

Yes, I frequently thank him for the things I have.
No, I haven't yet thanked him for being alive. I suppose I should do that.
No, I haven't thanked him for knowing him.

I think most people are better at complaining than thanking (at least towards God). I know I am :(

We all should have more faith. I try to say my thanks before saying my complaints. lol

@ Astrid: He speaks to me in nature too. It's one thing I'm looking forward to in Colorado.

I don't understand how people can see the beauty of creation and not believe.
