The overlooked ' Resurrection'

With so much focus on the death of Christ ,what is often overlooked worryingly , is the resurrection.
What we don't see in the Four Gospels is folks believing in a risen saviour , ascended ,seated at the right hand of the Father . No there faith is not the same faith as is necessary to believe today.
1cor 15
1¶Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

2By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

3¶For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

4And that he was buried, and that he ROSE AGAIN the third day according to the scriptures:

15Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.

16For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:

17And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.

18Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.

19If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved.

But when he said " it is finished " that could only mean he finished what he finished at that moment. He needed to be buried and needed to rise . When he said " it is finished "
,” on the cross, everyone was still in their sins as per 1 Cor. 15:17.

Atonement is one component of many components in salvation. It alone is not what saves. (Tit. 3:5; Rom. 5:10)

Atonement is a prerequisite for salvation, not the execution of it. (Rom. 5, 8; 2 Cor. 5; Tit. 3:5).

The Atonement must be received. (Rom. 5:11, 17; Jn. 1:12; 1 Cor. 15:1-4)

The Atonement does not glorify anyone. (Rom. 8)
Christ’s life, not his death is what saves. (Rom. 5:10; 1 Cor. 15:17)

Your ignoring all those verses I gave . Thats what the bible says. You were not saved when Jesus said " it is finished " were you ? And are you saying it was not necessary for Jesus to be glorified ?

This is why i said ' worryingly ' people overlook the resurrection. If Jesus never raised EVERYTHING is lost . Literally everything is Lost . So it is quite remarkable that you would see the resurrection the way you seem to ?

I was saved when I accepted that as payment in full for my sin and was washed in that Blood. This is not complicated rocket science, my friend.

And are you saying it was not necessary for Jesus to be glorified ?

It was necessary for Jesus to come and be born in a manger too, but this is not what secured our salvation. Did you forget who Jesus is? He did not have to become God. He has always been God.

Yes Jesus accomplished and finished all that was necessary up until his death . That was finished. Jesus no longer has to die . But if you think that s all Jesus did and there was no more things he had to accomplish then that's strange..According to scripture he had to be buried and had to rise again . And it didn't 'finish 'there either. He's still interceding..He has to return also .
