Group identity trumps individualism. I know this is counter to everything we're supposed to believe. But it is painfully obvious once you open your eyes to it. Individualism is a psyop pushed on us to keep us weak.

But what if I don’t agree with every single the group stands for? Group identity is nice, but I may have slightly different opinions. Does group identity mean I am responsible for the actions of others in the group, even if I didn’t know about what they were doing?

2. In order to learn, you've got to recognize patterns. Find patterns and draw conclusions based on what you find. As you get older and take in more information, then modify those conclusions based on your new found information. What most people do is they purposely look for exceptions to the rule because they are scared to admit to themselves the truth of what the clearly observed pattern is pointing to. Don't do that. Be brave. Look for truth and dare to go wherever it leads you. I think you are kind of doing that already. And for that I salute you!

Here's what I mean when I say that the group trumps the individual. Imagine a football game. NFL superbowl winning Tampa Bucs versus your standard little league team. But here's the catch...in this game the bucs are not going to play as a team. Each player will act completely independently with his own goals and strategies. But the little league team plays as a team with a mission of winning the game. Who will win? Obviously the little leaguers will win. The bucs would probably not even be able to complete a play if everyone just acted randomly with no cohesion. This is what I mean when I say that the group trumps the individual. It doesn't matter how awful the group members are. It doesn't matter how fantastic the individuals are. A semi-cohesive group will always defeat the individual. That is precisely why we've been taught to value the individual so much. It is mind control. The goal is to keep us weak. Individualism is a siren's call - especially for the above average person. A total psyop.

I would suggest you do a little reading about r/K selection and in-group preference. Think about it in terms of Christendom's fight for survival and Paul's warnings about infiltrators in the faith.

You might not be responsible. But this is entirely irrelevant. You will be held responsible if "your" group loses power to the "other" group. Ultimately you do not have complete control over your group identity.

It is an interesting conversation! Maybe this will help: have you ever put on a sweater or some piece of clothing and it just didn’t fit right? Not that it was too large or too small, it just felt wrong? That how she/her feels for me.

I know it should fit, it should feel right, there’s nothing suggesting otherwise, but it doesn’t. I don’t get called girl by my close friends, but I have a lot of relatives who always say ”She’s so pretty! What a pretty girl!” I understand they love me, and I’m grateful for them, but I get that feeling.

An example is this: for my sixteenth birthday, my very social grandmother wanted me to have an actual formal party, puffy dresses, tuxedos, everything. Which is lovely, but
1. I didn’t/don’t have that many friends
2. I understand the dresses are pretty, and please excuse my bluntness, but I would not be caught dead in one. My mother has so many stories of me as a child refusing to wear a dress for church, so this is nothing new.

Thank you for asking our national language is Filipino but my daily dialect is "waray" but I speak filipino(Tagalog) when speaking to someone who is not from my province, so that we can understand each other.

Still I don't understand why I am a woman and I don't like wearing dress...but I can wear them,although for me wearing one is uncomfortable because I am not used to it... Wearing a dress feels more like I am naked than wearing shirts/blouses and pants...I am not comfortable that's all but I am not bothered when someone called me a spinsters lol a she, a girl ,a her a señora a grandmother as long as they won't call me a man

Anyways "her and girl" in my language/ dialect it means the same..."it refers to a woman" a sister,a daughter,a housewife or Mrs, Miss maiden,spinsters,lady,girlfriend, fiancee and señora

In your heart,mind and body you know, you feel you are a woman and you love being a woman and grateful that God made you a woman I don't see any problem with that although as I've said I don't really get the "pronoun thing"

My little niece often speaks about herself in third person (usually using her first name). I just join in with her and we have a lot of fun. She is a "tomboy" and would probably never get caught dead in a dress either. We have a lot of fun when we get together, and nothing in this thread will change that.

No, it makes sense! I grew up in a place with a lot of different Spanish-speaking cultures in one place, so speaking a type of Spanish with people from one country doesn’t work with people from another.

That’s fair and totally normal, and there’s nothing wrong with it, I know multiple women who share your opinion. While I do feel uncomfortable in the way you described, it’s also the ill-filling feeling, that I shouldn’t be wearing the dress, maybe I should be wearing a tuxedo. I’m not trans and will not be trans, God made me female for a purpose and I am respecting and standing by that. Changing my pronouns helps me feel more comfortable with who I am and who He made me.
