According to the Word, Salvation, due to Christs sacrifice is where we are no longer enslaved to our carnal passions (should we so choose to free ourselves). As such, what does this Salvation mean in regards to those who choose to remain in their carnal sins?

John 15:16 NKJV - "You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you."

According to the Word in Romans 7-8, Salvation, due to Christs sacrifice is where we are no longer enslaved to our carnal passions (should we so choose to overcome and free ourselves). In which case, as the Word is Spiritual, and salvation is spiritual; those who then choose to remain in their carnal sins would not benefit from a spiritual effect.

Think about this logically; why would someone who wantonly continues to live for their flesh, want to live for the spirit, when they have been given the free gift to leave their sins, should they so choose, but instead choose not to? It is counterintuitive.

Salvation is therefore for those who earnestly want to leave their carnal inclinations, in order to live for their spirit (Romans 8:1), while those who willfully continue to live for their flesh (Romans 8:5), receive no spiritual prize.

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

Salvation = From
Acts 17
30And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

31Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

Salvation isn't merely something.

It is someone.

Here is the first time that the word "salvation" appears in scripture:

"I have waited for thy salvation, O LORD." (Gen. 49:18)

The underlying Hebrew word which is here translated as "salvation" is yeshua:

https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=H3444&t=KJV

Yeshua's name appears 77 other times as well in the underlying Hebrew text.

Turning to the New Testament, we read:

Matthew chapter 1

[20] But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
[21] And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

"Thou shalt call his name JESUS: for", or because, "he shall save his people FROM their sins".

Jesus' name literally means "Jehovah is salvation", as in salvation FROM one's sins.

JESUS

personal name of the Christian Savior, late 12c.; it is the Greek form of Joshua, used variously in translations of the Bible. From Late Latin Iesus (properly pronounced as three syllables), from Greek Iesous, which is an attempt to render into Greek the Aramaic (Semitic) proper name Jeshua (Hebrew Yeshua, Yoshua) "Jah is salvation." This was a common Jewish personal name during the Hellenizing period; it is the later form of Hebrew Yehoshua (see Joshua).

If we haven't been saved FROM our sins, then...

Yes throughfaith, Salvation = From, salvation from having to serve our flesh.
If, however, I choose not to overcome serving my flesh, I am then saved from nothing. I am one whose God then continues to be their belly/flesh.

Philippians 3:18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: 19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

Phil 3.18 is taking about an unsaved person. An enemy of The cross. Not a Christian.
in contrast to
20For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

Why would Paul weep for those in Philippians 3:18-19, if they were not members of the body of Christ at some point? But you are right, that those whose flesh is their love, are enemies of the cross.

Are you trying to obtain an answer to the question, "What is Salvation?" or to assert that "freedom from the carnal nature" is the essence of salvation?

Paul wept over those unbelieving Jews, even though they were the ones persecuting them .
You do not know the bible .
Rom 11
And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

27For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

28¶As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.

we both appreciate the extent of your obvious 'home-work' - you have for sure fulfilled the scripture
that says; 'Study to show yourself a workman,..............'

The context of Philippians 3:18-19 is Paul weeping over those whose God/love is their belly/flesh. There is no inference to believers in those two verses.

Are you trying to obtain an answer to the question, "What is Salvation?" or to assert that "freedom from the carnal nature" is the essence of salvation?
It was a rhetorical question, which I answered, in that true salvation is where we are now made free with Christ's sacrifice from having to serve our flesh, should we choose to overcome it. If we choose not to overcome our flesh, however, we are then saved from nothing, with our God/love remaining our belly/flesh.

Philippians 3:18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: 19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

it is very SAD that tf continues to play a devious part in his short life, that shows Yeshua's followers that he is
for sure appointed as an adversary to God's Holy Word - we fail to see that he has a true conscience
or any respect for ALL who have tried their best in Love to teach or reach him...

An enemy of the cross. Does this sound like a believer ? The enemies referred to here are the enemies of 2 Peter 2:1. Since they may be Jews (Rom. 11:28), they are “beloved enemies” (Rom. 11:28); this explains why Paul says, “and now tell you even WEEPING.”
