Why don't you tell me.
I already stated it meant the nation

Are you aware that, under prophecy, God relates to them as a nation?

Example in yom kipper, the high priest will sacrifice 2 animals for the sins of the entire nation.

If God accepts that sacrifice, the entire nation sins for the year is forgiven.

Yep.

That was under the Law. For the nation. Forgiveness is now individual, based on faith. Acts 10:43.

Yes, you are correct, that is because Israel the nation has currently fallen and an enemy to the gospel. (Romans 11:11, Romans 11:28)

But do you believe that, during the Tribulation, Israel will be restored to God's favored nation once again?

That was what Paul was saying in Romans 11:23 onwards.

Yes, the 7 year Tribulation is God's fulfillment of His promise to israel. The promise was 490 years, and from the date of that promise to Christ's being "cut off" was 483 years. So God still owes them 7 years. And that will be the Tribulation.

"a prophetic period mentioned in Dan 9:24, and usually interpreted on the "year-day" theory, i.e., reckoning each day for a year. This period will thus represent 490 years. This is regarded as the period which would elapse till the time of the coming of the Messiah, dating "from the going forth of the commandment to restore and rebuild Jerusalem" i.e., from the close of the Captivity."

So, in the end, you do agree that, at the end of those 7 years, God will forgive the sins of the nation Israel, collectively again, just like he did every year during Yom Kipper.

This time, it will be a permanent forgiveness, since at the end of the Tribulation, the entire nation would acknowledge Jesus as the promised Christ and Lord (Acts 2:36), that is when the New Covenant will begin for Israel.

Allah is dead.

2:13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning ( Beginning as in the beginning of when Paul's Gospel was preached to them ) chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: 14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

'Our Gospel '= sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth ( The vehicle) The Holy spirit is not given until Acts 2 .
The Holy Spirit did not die for the worlds sin.

Gospel = good news = Jesus was the innocent blood and price for salvation.
Gospel = Jesus
Gospel = Holy Spirit given
Gospel = abundant life
Gospel = born again into family/ sonship

Gospel = I walk in Gods favor

We can go on and on.

Gospel means good news.

Jesus, paul, peter, john, james....all preached Jesus and the gospel surrounding HIM.

No I don't agree with that. God deals with individuals. Unless everyone in the nation Israel puts their trust in the Messiah, they won't be forgiven.

Acts 10:43 says that forgiveness is by faith in Christ.

This time, it will be a permanent forgiveness, since at the end of the Tribulation, the entire nation would acknowledge Jesus as the promised Christ and Lord (Acts 2:36), that is when the New Covenant will begin for Israel.
First, all forgiveness by God is permanent. Second, the entire nation would HAVE TO believe in Christ for forgiveness.

There is no New Covenant for Israel. The only mention of a new covenant in the Bible is in the NT, regarding any and all believers.

What verse has informed you of a NC for Israel? Thanks.

Hebrews 8:8

For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

You are another who believes that we in the Body of Christ have become spiritual Israel?

Hebrews 8:8

No, but I am another who believes in looking at the whole context of verses that are quoted.

And, the context for Heb 8:8 begins with v.7 and continues through v.12. Interested in what all of the verses say?

7 For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another.
8 But God found fault with the people and said : “The days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah.
9 It will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they did not remain faithful to my covenant, and I turned away from them, declares the Lord.
10 This is the covenant I will establish with the people of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.
11 No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest.
12 For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”

What you obviously are unaware of is that this passage is a quote from the OT, Jer 31:31-34.

It was a prophecy of the New Covenant that Jesus brought to the world during His First Advent. So the NC is already in place.

I reject in the strongest of terms the heresy of replacement theology.

Isn't both Hebrews 8 and Jer 31 talking about the same future event that is still yet to happen ? They both say Israel and Judah.

9Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.

10For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of ISRAEL after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into THEIR mind, and write them in THEIR hearts: and I will be to THEM a God, and THEY shall be to me a people:

I am of course aware of Jeremiah 31:31, but Jeremiah was also a prophet sent to Israel.

The new covenant will be made with Israel the nation as jer 31:31 and heb 8:8 stated, so you cannot simultaneously reject replacement theology and believe that it is already in place at the same time.

If you do, then you have to answer the question, who is the Israel that the new covenant was made with now?

The covenant that is about to be established is to be with 1.) “the house of Israel” and 2.) “the house of Judah” (vs. 8). A. The covenant is not to be made with “the elect.”
B. The covenant is not to be made with the Body of Christ.
C. The covenant is not to be made with the “Israel of God.”
D. The covenant is not to be made with “Spiritual Jews.”
E. The covenant is not to be made with “Jehovah’s Witnesses.”
F. The covenant is not to be made with “the church.”
G. The covenant is not to be made with “Spiritual Israel.”
H. The covenant is not to be made with Christians, believers, Catholics, or Hebrew Christians. The covenant is to be made “with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah” (vs. 8).

Why would one assume that? Heb 8 is simply a quote from Jer 31. The future event in Jer 31 is the First Advent of the Messiah.

8For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
9Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.

All this is the prophecy of the First Advent of the Messiah. iow, God is setting aside the Law for grace. That's what the NT is all about.

What's the whole thing about being 'Born Again'? My understanding from my Grandfather at 7 years old was that it was the only way to God/Eternal Life. Someting visceral had to happen. That seems profoundly unfair on anyone born into a different culture. People born into different cultures are not excluded from coming to Christ, and many have, do, and still are, so it has not come to an end as you erroneously claim. Your arguments against Christianity are typical atheist fare, such as saying religion is for controlling people. Are you Muslim, or simply ignorant of what Mohammed, a deceived, adulterous, war mongering pedophile, taught?

Because it was the First Advent that brought the NC and is WHY the NC is now "already in place".

What leads you to assume this in light of who its referring to in Heb 8 and Jer 31 ?
It should be obvious to any reader. Jer was written to Jews. The NC is the gospel of grace. However, the OT Jews were under the Law as evidence of their faith in God's promise of the coming Messiah. Salvation was by grace through faith in the OT just as much as it is in the NT. In fact, that was Paul's message throughout his ministry.

It literally says Israel and Judah ? Are you not begging the question ?
No, I'm not. I'm reading the whole context and realizing what Jeremiah was prophesying about.

I'm not making assumptions. I'm reading ' Israel ' and Judah ' . If I believe the scriptures as they read i don't think its referring to anyone else. God is capable of communicating plainly.
