So if a dead sinner can't raise themselves to life, how is a dead sinner raised to spiritual life?

By grace through faith in the shed righteous blood of Jesus Christ for the propitiation of their sins.
After a person believes God then raises them to spiritual life . Let's not beat around the Bush here . What your leading to is . ' man cannot believe the Gospel ' . Which there is no scripture that says this .
Look at scripture.
10¶And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews.
11These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
12Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few.
They HEARD ,they checked, they believed. Simple . Calvinism disproved right here .
The sticking point seems to be the turning point, for the natural man of himself cannot accept the gospel because he sees it as foolishness; he is perishing in his sins but rejects things of the Spirit because they are Spiritually discerned. Some deny that regeneration precedes Spiritual rebirth, but how can a man without the Spirit accept the things of God? The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin; obviously He is working in both sinner and saved. God makes it possible, but He does not make the decision for us

Regeneration requires God's action.
Okay, so they heard the gospel. Then they believed. Ok. What does this scripture have anything to do with whether or not a spiritually dead person can raise themselves, or how grace is received?

What I am asking you is, what enables a spiritually dead person to have spiritual life? Isn't it God that gives us spiritual life?
Isn't that what it means when 2 Timothy 2 and other place say that God grants us repentence?
24 And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. 25 Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, 26 and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.
What about the fact that our receiving grave through faith isn't our work?
Ephesians 2:8
“By grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.”
If we enable ourselves to have spiritual life, and we give ourselves faith, and we give ourselves repentance, what is left for God to do?
How were they born again?
9 The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.
Does Jesus regenerate sinners?
You seem to be under the impression that some believe we can regenerate ourselves? Why ?
God grants Israel / Jews repentence. Ok repentence is granted to Jews ..come! .
Gentiles are granted repentence. Ok gentiles repentence has been granted. Come! ..This does not mean THEY come but THEY CAN !! .
No verse says man cannot believe the Gospel. Thats the issue . Not one single verse . Scripture demonstrates in multiple places where man does believe the Gospel. Like Cornelius and those bereans . That verse is before John 12.32 . They CAN come to Jesus by being drawn by the Father to Jesus prior to the cross. After the cross ALL can come because All are drawn. But as irresistible grace doesn't exist , not all come and not All believe. They resist the Truth.
You seemed to imply you disagree with Total Depravity. So you believe then humans aren't that depraved, right? That we have some measure of spiritual ability?
I believe that verse is in relation to the deeper things of God , not the Gospel. Its the mature wisdom mature believers can recieve .Yet we are told that the natural man is incapable of understanding the things of God. We need His help
Granting repentance is less in terms of granting permission and more in terms of receiving a grant. It's the act of giving it to someone.
