In the past there were theories put forward regarding Jesus and His resurrection .

The earliest theory is the disciples stole Jesus' body.. recorded in the bible itself about the Jewish authorities claiming this.

Problem with this is the disciples were scattered and scared. Not together to hatch that kind of plan.

Another theory was that Jesus only swooned on the cross.

That theory bit the dust with the way people were beaten and crucified.

If the thrashing before the cross didn't kill someone, then the act of being on the cross trying to breathe would. If that didn't kill them.. then the burial clothes would suffocate them!

Then of course with Jesus.. if He some how survived all that.. how would the disciples claim Jesus is risen to see this mostly dead, bruised and beaten man?

There is an Islamic tradition that it was Judas Iscariot who was crucified. Not Jesus.

The varying accounts for Judas' death were such that people doubted it happened...but the differences in Luke's vs Matthew's account is the difference between audiences. Matthew's was Jewish and Luke's was Roman. Romans were all about a good and positive death...which Luke denied Judas. Suicide was a positive...a bad suicide was a negative in Roman culture.

yes all the theories since his resurrection shows the forces in the world working to blind people to the truth

science today even testifies of the finality of death and impossibility of resurrection. The world is working hard to convince us to look away , and the gospel is working in us to pull our eyes to the lord

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭2:15-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬.

the forces in the world which cause this is seeking to teach us that the gospel is not true in any way . If the resurrection. Is explained away the whole faith crumbles because it is so focused on his death and resurrection being the final answer from God for sin and justification

if satan can get us to disbelieve one foundational point it all falls apart and only doubt would remain his goal is to areal Our belief steal Our choice to hear and believe and be saved

“But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭4:3-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

it’s always clever islamists acknowledge Jesus prophet status and say he was a man of God but his death for sin and resurrection . His status as Gods son , God in the flesh is not acceptable to them

many religions have a god who is a creator or all Powerful a lot of religions talk of heavenly places and he’ll places

but only in one Faith did God the creator come after mankind had broken his covenant and cursed theneselves , to save them by giving his life in exchange to appease thier judgement of death for thier sins .

In order to save his people , he sent his son into the world his own self Born as a man the son , gone by the name of Jesus Christ who preached the true gospel and sent it by his authority into all
The world

only one religion states that part anything the world can do to get our faith from the truth it’s our there seeking to do just that

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

...And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6:12-13, 17‬ ‭

to get us to doubt or dismiss the truth of the resurrection renders the gospel meaningless which is satans will for us turn us from truth with clever loes

thanks for the post a good thought for vigilance to notice this type of deceptions
