The term for “watcher” is from Aramaic, one of the few times in the Old Testament that Aramaic is used instead of Hebrew. The term for watcher is from the Aramaic phrase “`iyr” and means “wakeful one, watcher,” or “angel” therefore a watcher was meant as an angel bestowed from God.

The book of Enoch gives a detailed description of these angels, but in authorized scripture the watchers are only mentioned in the book of Daniel. (Daniel 4:13, 17 and 23) Nebuchadnezzar saw them in a dream. Different translation uses different ways of transcribing these visions, some say messenger or holy ones.

There are many scriptures telling us that the Lord sees all we think and are. (Heb, 4:13, Jer. 4:16, Prov. 16:13, Psalm 33:13) These scriptures do not say that God watches us through angels.

Do you think there may be angels watching us? Psalm 34:7 tells us: the angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them”.

Do you think there are different classes of angels? We know there are archangels named Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, and Uriel. In Hebrews 1:7 we are told: “Now about the angels He says: “He makes His angels winds, His servants flames of fire”, These angels of fire are not the archangels. We are also told of angels who can take on human form in Hebrews 13:2 “Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.” Usually, when scripture tells of seeing angels there is no description of what they look like, but the persons seeing them have no doubt they are angels. In Hebrews 1:14 it says: “Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?”

We are told Jacob saw angels on a ladder going between heaven and earth. Could these be the watchers?

Angels were present when God created the world.

Job 38:4 “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation?
Tell me, if you understand.
5 Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know!
Who stretched a measuring line across it?
6 On what were its footings set,
or who laid its cornerstone—
7 while the morning stars sang together
and all the angels shouted for joy? "

“See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along
the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.” Exodus 23:20

"Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents." (Luke 15:10)

He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11

Michael is the only angel to be called an archangel in the Bible (Jude 1:9).

At 461 A.M., Jared was born, for in his days the angels of the Lord descended upon the earth, those who are named the Watchers, that they should instruct the children of men, and that they should do judgment and uprightness on the earth (Jubil 04:16). - Good Watchers: Uriel, Raguel, Michael, Saraqael, Gabriel. There are also bad Watchers (angels). These Angels are known as messengers and are the "sons of God" as mentioned in Genesis 06. Enoch 12:05 says that these angels "deserted heaven" and became polluted with women. - But Enoch testified to the Watchers, who had sinned with the daughters of men; for these had begun to unite themselves, so as to be defiled, with the daughters of men (Jubil 04:22).

There are several places in scripture where it is stated that angels are watching Christians.

For example, the angels were apparently watching the apostles:

"For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men." (I Cor. 4:9)

Angels apparently are also learning the manifold wisdom of God by watching or observing the church:

Ephesians chapter 3

[8] Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
[9] And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
[10] To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,
[11] According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
[12] In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

Peter similarly mentions the angels along these lines:

I Peter chapter 1

[10] Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
[11] Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
[12] Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

Angels are also apparently watching to see that things are being done decently and in order within the churches:

I Corinthians chapter 11

[7] For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
[8] For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.
[9] Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
[10] For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.

Etc., etc., etc.

Michael is the only angel to be called an archangel in the Bible (Jude 1:9).
Although Michael is the only archangel to be called by name in scripture, other archangels apparently exist.

We read:

"But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia." (Dan. 10:13)

Seeing how the archangel Michael is but "one of the chief princes", there must be more than just one.

I did not say other archangels did not exist. I said Michael is the only one named/identified as an archangel in Scripture.
